STAY AWAY! Go on TikTok search "winnipegnewsnetwork" he made a video on this "restaurant" This place needs to be shut down ASAP! Not even a clean "restaurant" doesn't even look like a legit business.time for pick up orders in person and through skip is LONG.stay away!

It’s a lot of negative reviews about this spot but me and my friends enjoyed the food from here. Fried rice and Jollof rice on point! Y’all should actually try the food before leaving negative reviews.

Worst service ever, whenever I order from this restaurant they always deliver wrong item and when you call to complain they are just so rude and no manners.

I placed an order on Skip and despite some items being unavailable, no form of communication from the restaurant (most restaurants will inform you and even offer substitutes), rather they sent half of the order I placed. The fried rice lacked the basic veggies and tasted/smelled like it was prepared the day before and was just warmed up few minutes ago, I had to thrash the entire thing. My mistake was not checking reviews before ordering and only went to check reviews after the delivery guy advised me never to order from this restaurant again lol, I learnt the hard way. NEVER AGAIN!

Waited almost two hours for my order. Very poor customer service. I ordered food for my sick friends and I waited for 2 hrs to get the order and after getting the food. I realized the order was replaced. They need to work more on the waiting time it is too long. 2 hours to wait for grilled fish and yam that’s too much.

Terrible restaurant. Actually not a restaurant and I’m pretty sure they don’t meet with restaurant standards. Waiting for food is beyond the patience level. Avoid this one

I was a poor dasher for this restaurant. I've waited an hour inside to receive order for my customer. For me this place looked non-hygenic and stuff didn't care about any of delivery guys at all.

Their kitchen is so untidy and they make terrible meals. I kept giving them another try but they never convinced me otherwise. After I got my meal delivered today from them, I completely give up. It feels like I got scammed. Zero value for money!

Ordered via UberEats. Wish I knew what I was getting into when I decided to waste almost $20 on this tiny bowl of salty Efo riro with assorted bones.
It's not their fault, I was too lazy to cook and I paid the price.
My day is ruined.

Worst restaurant for waits.on multiple occasions, they kept telling me 2 mins for my order ended up 32 mins first time and 47 mins the next time. Never ordering from them again. Waiting space smells terrible too

Fake reviews, unhealthy, unhygienic and smelly meat. It’s like they are selling decomposed meat.

Worst food quality, very poor mannered staff, i have seen with my own eyes lady making food with bare dirty hands and touching body parts. Highly advise to visit the store before ordering anything! Worst nightmare response.

EDIT; They weren't closed down not once but twice for insanity conditions on both counts. Nasty, disgusting place. Ontop of that the registered owner of this horrendous restaurant, Chinenye (Victor) Alozie, has immigration fraud charges against him which speaks degrees about his character. Shame on you for not only defrauding innocent immigrants but for also having your disgusting restaurant give people food poisoning with your insanitary conditions!

ORIGINAL; Disgusting. Looks like the floors are never swept. Food is nasty. I can see why it was closed down for 4 weeks. BTW, the good reviews are fake. The names aren't even real. They're so dirty they bought fake reviews.

Based on previous reviews they have not at all gotten faster. Still a horrible place to pick up from try not to order from here

I wish I can give 0 starts to this restaurant as this restaurant is the worst i have seen in my entire life.

As a customer, uncooked and unsanitary food served. After I place a order over the phone and they told me to come in 25 minutes, once I reached its not ready and waited another 15 minutes for it. All have been good only if the food I got is good but raw meat, ice cold food.
Never coming here again.

As a courier, always have to wait more than 25 minutes, what a waste of time. Nobody greets you, you have to yell literally for someone to take your order number and even after that your wait time is not changing.

Just pure terrible!

Cozy place, excellent service and, what is most important, fresh and delicious food. If you want to try something new spinach paneer with the butter naan will serve you a healthy Popeye's meal.

Africa restaurant is very peacefull place. When I visit there Jass provide very good service to me nd my friends.

This is surprisingly one of the best places to have some good Africa food. They have a great reputation for being one of the better places to eat out from. Love it! Highly recommend trying it!

Africa restaurant catered food to one of our family function. Food was amazing, everyone loved it.had tons left afterwards. Staff and management were very friendly.

It was nice place to have Africa cuisine at a decent price. The amount, quality and taste of food was simply awesome.

If you are a lover of spicy meals, you would love eating here. So far, I have tried their peppersoup, puffpuff, pounded yam and Efo-riro. They were all very delicious and I highly recommend to anyone wondering what to order. I had a small delivery issue which the customer service fixed promptly. It’s a fairly new business so I don’t expect them to be perfect but knowing that they care about their customers will make me a return customer. Keep up the good work guys and thanks for a great experience.

The worst experience ever. The fish was smelly. The rice feltlike it was made in 2 minutes. I will never order from this restaurant again.

This was our first time trying this restaurant. We ordered the pounded yam with fish soup, fried rice/plantain with chicken, eba with beef soup, and puff puffs. We were excited about African food, having never been to Africa. So perhaps we're not terribly familiar with the cuisine, but it was extremely spicy and the flavours were very strong and unappealing. The soup wasn't what we were expecting. It was very dense, oily and filled with as much bone as meat. Even the rice dish had only one little chicken leg. The pounded yam tasted nothing like yam; it was not sweet and tasted stale. We really had a hard time eating our meal and 80% went in the commercial compost. The worst part is that the tab came to over 70$ after delivery. The one redeeming dish was the puff puffs. They were delicious.
