Pad Thai

I am visiting Winnipeg from Vancouver. I’ve eaten at 40+ Thai restaurants. This place has hands down the best peanut sauce I’ve ever had. The yellow and red curries are amazing. Calamari was perfectly cooked. Prawn pad Thai was crazy good too.
This will be a must visit when I’m in town.

We decided to eat at this little neighborhood restaurant on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. Food was tasty and reasonably priced but, most importantly, the service was excellent. We were treated warmly and will be happy to return or order takeout in the future.

Enjoyed our evening out here at new Location. Warm and inviting atmosphere. We had varied items on menu from pad Thai to appetizers. All were really good. We will be sure to come back!

We ordered through skip the dishes. We were so disappointed. It was oily, tasteless and very underwhelming.

I am not typically compelled to write a review, but I have to after our order this evening. We had high hopes with the current reviews online.

The Massaman curry was so bland we could have been eating vegetables and rice in water. We have had this dish from many other Thai places in town and always enjoy.but not this time.

Also, the pad Thai was a sure letdown to be honest. It is quite bizarre to eat what you think should taste flavourful but it has such an extremely mild hint of flavour.

Maybe it was just an off couple of dishes.

Very expensive for such small portions too.

Sadly we will not be reordering.

My favorite Thai restaurant in Winnipeg! Nice service, amazing food and wonderful environment. Must have at least once for every week. Recommend for all my friends! Also tried take out, pretty good packed and as the same delicious as dining in. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

I love pad thai so much.my absolute favourite thai place to go.do yourself a favour and get the steamed bbq pork buns, they’re life changing.see you guys soon

Price too high, non reasonably high
Service is friendly but short staff, so they would make you feel like they are so busy all the time and make you dining experience anxious.
Food is extremely non tasteful, all food are not authentic, I’m an Asian so trust me, this is a North American Thai restaurant, if you like high sugar type of dishes, you’ll like this restaurant. But if you really want good quality authentic thai, don’t bother to come in.
Their papaya salad very gross, not the normal type of fish sauce flavor, taste very stinky (I’m an Asian food expert so I know the normal would taste like) btw I got a refund from that.
Tom yun is too sweet, doesn’t not have the lemon grass smell. Pad Thai is too sweet too, bad quality shrimp taste fishy

I normally love the meals here but my peanut sauce on the #21 was very runny and lacking its usual flavour. $41 for a small soup, 1 entre and a small rice feels extreme but the charges do add up when it’s delivery.

I have noticed a move in the last few years but their Pad Thai hasn't changed, it was so good. The own was very friendly and chatted with me for a bit. I was out and in very quick. Definitely recommend the Chicken Pad Thai.

The food has me stuck in the bathroom for nearly five hours once I got home, bad enough to where I almost called an ambulance. I will never be returning, this place should be shut down

I've been in Winnipeg for a year and this is my favorite restaurant! I ordered food from here every week and I literally almost tried all combinations. I am a huge fan of Thai food and I gotta say they have very authentic Thai food! The service is also very very nice, making me enjoy their food much more! I followed their Ins account and I found that they helped local hospitals and police stations a lot during Covid, such a warm restaurant. Please try their food and service you won't be disappointed!

Absolutely delicious Thai food! Some of the best curry I've had in the city! Large portions too. Highly recommend the deep fried spring rolls, pad Thai, and panang.

Horrible quantity. I had ordered a small soup for over $14.00 and it was about 1 cup of actual soup (mine was not filled fully.) Never ordering from here again and I suggest you do the same or be okay with paying full price for not enough food.

Was excited to try a place closer to home as my wife and I usually buy our Thai takeout elsewhere. We both ordered the pad Thai and got rice rolls to share. Both of which were recommended as favourites on the companies website. We were very disappointed when we opened our pad Thai to find a clump of rice noodles, that lacked both flavour and spice, as we’re used to with our normal Thai food. It was, sadly almost inedible. The rice rolls were no better. They were completely busted open upon opening the container (see picture) and the texture and seasoning of the pork it contained was similar to that of scrambled eggs. We will not be returning.

Went in for pick up and the service at tue front was excellent. I was greeted quickly and
had my order ready. Our dinner was hot and fresh. Great flavors of both dishes. Highly recommend

Ordered Pad Thai takeout. Very disappointing. I love Pad Thai but this was terrible. Big clump of noodles stuck together with very little flavor. The rice wraps were equally bland. Won't be back.

Pad Thai is my favourite Thai food restaurant in town! The service is always excellent and food super tasty. Their signature Pad Thai is amazing, it’s even better with sriracha sauce. Pad Seuw is another dish that I really like, it’s flavourful and filling. My grandpa is a peanut lover, so his favourite dish is the “Peanut Lover”. There are so many different foods that you can choose from, there’s something here for everyone:).

First time trying.g this restaurant and it did not disappoint. It was like I was back in South East Asia.

Let me start by saying the food was delicious.
I was surprised that $49 pick up, got us 4 spring rolls and 2 entrees. Again delicious but for a family of 3 and average intake, we will give this restaurant a pass in the future.

Excellent food and service. Have been ordering takeout from here due to COVID-19 and was never disappointed. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a crunchy noodle dish and a curry dish. Both were excellent! Staff was very helpful suggesting what we would like and they were right! The price I thought was very good for the quantity and quality of the food. Restaurant also has super cute decor, although I think they are closed now temporarily for in person dining. We will definitely try their take out soon.

The curry had a bite and the rice had a delicate balance of vegetables and shrimp. Also good to help young owners survive the pandemic.

We ordered take out from Pad Thai. Green Chicken Curry, Beef Matsaman and coconut rice are typically our Thai go-tos. They did an excellent job! On top of that, they were super kind and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back!

Great food, great service, and she donating food to the hospitals right now to support the patients and front line workers on Sundays. AMAZING

I went in tonight to get Pad Thai for take out. I'm assuming it was the owner that I was talking to. She was explaining different things to me and suggested a dish to me that is the best thing I have had in a long time! I can't remember the name but its #60 on the menu. Will definitely have that again!

Great place to get authentic thai food. The owners and the chefs went to Thailand to train, and it really shows! The food is delicious, I love the pad thai and the panang curry (27a).

Ordered the Mee Krop for takeout, my girlfriend got panang curry. The curry was great and fresh. My dish was unfortunately tasteless and loaded with sauce. Far too soupy. Will go back for another dish though!

Delicious Thai dishes for a reasonable price. Quaint clean atmosphere. Service was as expected.

Garden City/ very poor quality food (tasteless} and not worth the money. Ordered the soup with beef, maybe an ounce of meet. Imperial roll was tiny. Very disappointed.

If you want your Thai food to taste like chinese food this place is great! Also an extra ingredient of HAIR:)

This place is a gem! I was in the area so I stopped in for dinner. It's a little hole in the wall but I know some of the best places are, and this was no exception. Lovely decor inside and the service was friendly and efficient. I ordered an appetizer squid, tom kha soup and a lychee martini. All three were some of the best I've ever had, and when I ordered a pad Thai to go the server packed the sprouts separate because she knew I wouldn't be eating it until tomorrow. I highly recommend this place.

Very delicious Thai food. Staff is super friendly. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. The pad Thai was not too sweet which is very good to have.

Such a hidden gem. Maybe the tastiest thai food in the city. Lovely staff, cozy atmosphere. One of my favs. Great takeout too.

Go for the private atmosphere. Nice booth-like tables. Staff won't rush you.

Starters: Battered Calamari badly overcooked and greasy. Don't. Chicken Satay a bland choice. On the other, the #40 Thai Vegetable salad is a winner. Large enough to share easily. Get it.

Mains included a "Peanut Lovers Special. " Think of it as Pad Thai with all the extra peanut flavor you crave. We also chose Panang Curry with prawns. Shrimp numbers were skimpy and the curry was a little thin but it gets full credit for tasty.

Incidentally, there's an extra charge for white rice. Irritating.

You'll have few disapointments here so go cheerfully if you live on the west side of the city. If you want the full 5 stars, consider a 15 minute further drive to Magic Thailand on Logan or Vanxai Thai a little further over on St. Anne's

Lovely staff, great food. Loved the red curry with prawns and spring rolls. One of those lovely hidden gems with authentic Thai vibes and food. Must try!

Went on a Tuesday for supper. Had their special. Service was expedient. Waitress was friendly without being intrusive.
Food was excellent. I finished my meal but there was too much for my date who took it home.

The decor of this place is neat and unexpected, the individuality partitioned booths are a stellar notion. The central water fountain adds a mellow vibe to the place. The menu offers a wide variety of options. Wait staff was friendly. The food was good enough for me to be willing to return and try more items from their menu.

I used to come often so I thought I’d revisit for old times sake! Ordered the chicken pad Thai, was flavourless and small in portion, not to mention the price for what you get is absurd.
Will not be returning

Food is delicious. Big menu, and new items often. The ambiance is very rustic and great presentation. Very private booths/curtained areas. The one flaw was the lighting. Some seats are far from a light source and it was hard to eat, read menu. But the food is really good.
