Parcel Pizza

First visit to Parcel pizza. One size only (around 15 in)
We ordered 3 different pizzas, a vegan Greek, Magpie (white sauce, gorgonzola, Bothwell, with mushrooms and lemon greens) and a made-up by us with bacon and veggies. All excellent.

Went here for a group supper. We shared appetizers and pizzas as a group. In the photo you'll see the gnudi, which we shared as an appy. The staff were friendly and happy to answer questions. If you find yourself in Winnipeg and you like pizza, this place is worth checking out.

Parcel Pizza is awesome! 1st time I've ever been there which is near my workplace. I had the Porchetta and it was to die for! The flavor just melted into your mouth and you just wanted to take your time savoring the taste of each bite! Well worth the money spent! Will go back again soon!

I never write reviews but this place was beyond good.the service from our server, gray, was fantastic! Ill 100% be recommending this place to everyone, the atmosphere and food and service were great!

This spot is awesome. The pizza is SO good. I had an Electric Squirrel cocktail, also incredible. We had the rotating dish which was spanakopita pizza. They're also very accommodating for lactose which was a refreshing surprise.

The only reason I give 4 stars is because the timing on food coming out. There was a solid 10 or so mins between each pizza that came out, which meant some of the party was waiting a long time to eat vs.the others. Service was great though and I'd definitely go back.

Loved the place and the food. Very mouthful and delightful. We got a Nandor pizza, Prawns, a Crème cookie dessert.

The place is wonderfully decorated w hand printed paint. Couldn’t ask for a better place to celebrate new year’s night.

We were finally able to visit this restaurant after hearing so many good things about it. We didn't have reservations and from 4: 30 to 5: 30 I believe it is walk-in only. Nice decor. Our waitress, Blythe, was very bubbly and very knowledgeable about all the ingredients of all the dishes. We ordered the Gem salad as an appetizer and it was delicious. Butter lettuce with pistachios, apple slices along with other ingredients in a creamy dressing. We had the Rotating Disk for our main course. It is a changing (rotating) pizza, the Chefs choice. Sorry not sure of the name but described as a kind of breakfast pizza. (my words not theirs). It came with a delicious red sauce on a thin crust that was perfectly cooked. Just slightly crunchy yet had the texture we look for in a thin crust, a slight bite or pull to it, and over the ingredients were 3 eggs that were cooked on top! They were cooked to perfection and when you bit or cut into them the creamy yolk ran. It was a perfect finish to the pizza. Can't wait to try out more menu items. We will be back soon.

We celebrated my husband’s birthday there last night and the staff did amazing! We were originally supposed to have a small reservation but changed into 15 people last minute and they were extremely accommodating. The food and drinks were lovely! We didn’t feel rushed or interrupted by staff yet all our needs were met.

This is some of the best pizza in Winnipeg. I have eaten in twice and takeout once. The pizza crust is excellent, a great developed flavor. They use the pepperoni that cups, my personal fav. The house chili oil is the do not skip. It isn't the most spicy, but it is flavourful with a hint of warm spices and star anise. The high balls are the perfect drink for a pizza place.

I truly love this place. Great pizza, apps and cocktails. It's a great place for a date, or dinner/drinks with friends. The retro vibes is pretty cool too.

Malaikah was our server and had the best time with her, she was lovely and took great care of us. Everyone there is super friendly, the vibe is very welcoming and cozy.

Best restaurant in Winnipeg? Everything here is meticulous and kinda just perfect—the decor, the ambience, the art, the (not too loud) music, the cute booths, the friendly, chill staff. Every time you come you notice more details about how incredibly well-designed the whole place is. And we've never had a dish be less than stellar here. They're constantly churning out super creative new pizzas, and the standbys we've tried are all exceptional, too. The gem salad and their unique caesar both changed my life. If you're in Winnipeg for 1 day and you have to pick 1 restaurant, this is it.

ALSO, no need to drive here! It's right next to Harkness station, easy to take transit or bike to!

Really enjoyed our dinner here. It's a popular place, so reservations were required. We enjoyed a New York style pizza amongst the 4 of us, which was delicious, even despite my expectations, as I am not a fan of white sauce on pizza. Red sauce pizza was available, of course, but not chosen by our group. To go with our pizza, we enjoyed two orders of their Gem salad, which was truly outstanding! I'd return just for the salad, it was that good. The restaurant itself has a palpable lovely ambiance, with tasteful modern decor and quite comfortable seating. One small issue of concern was that the dining room was up one flight of stairs, which proved quite difficult for our most elderly companion to navigate, particularly with servers rushing up and down the stairs, which made it difficult to hold onto both railings. Anyhow, I highly recommend! It's a hip and current kind of place, and a great addition to Winnipeg's restaurant scene.

Pizza comes in one size: Too much.

Didn't stop me from eating too much though. It was great. Has a cool vibe to it.

Tried the magpie and rotating disc pizza's. They both had a nice crust and decent flavor. The combination of white sauce and too much dairy made the pizza too rich. Our server was very nice.

**2 stars for Customer Service**
Our first experience with Parcel Pizza was take out. The lady who helped us was incredibly friendly and knew the menu very well. However, we are sad to say, the customer service has since only really declined.

The second time we ordered take out as well and the pizza dough was much drier and tougher than the first time and the toppings were so scarce compared to the first time and so we called. The staff member who picked up was incredibly condescending and assumed we’ve never had the pizza before and tried to gaslight us into thinking “that’s just how it is”.

We thought we would give it another go and this time we decided to dine-in. The ambiance is cool inside and we like that but the staff (outside of the person who sat us) were oddly unfriendly. I don’t know if it was just a busy night or an off night for our server at the time, but we felt like they did not want to be there.

A few days ago, we decided to do take out again. After the dining experience we had, we basically decided Parcel pizza was best as a take out type of meal for us. One of the things we ordered was our favourite, stuffed peppers. Sadly, they did not taste as they usually do and the pepper basically was raw. We called in to let them know. The lady who picked up the phone proceeded to explain to us (without ever hearing us out) that it’s a “matter of preference” and that “that’s just how it is”… and said “for people who’ve never had it, it’s either they like it or they don’t. ”

You can imagine our frustration as we were not given the opportunity to explain ourselves and our concern before this staff member talked over us.

After she eventually decided to give us a listen, we explained that we have repeatedly ordered this dish before and it’s been pretty consistent. We know the peppers are blistered, we know what it’s supposed to taste like, etc.

As a customer coming back to experience something we like again and be told that we did not know what we were talking about basically killed all interest we have for this restaurant.

This place needs to revamp their service training.

**3 stars for Food Quality**
The first time we had Parcel pizza, it was TO DIE FOR. I literally hyped it up to every single person I came across that week because it was so so so good. The dough was fluffy and crispy at the same time. The flavours of the toppings balanced each other so well.

Sadly, after the fist time, the quality of the pizza has decreased. I have never gotten the same pizza (our staple is the Tropic) tasting the same each time we went.

The only thing that was pretty consistent were the peppers and the last time we went, even that not cooked or prepared the same way.

I’m incredibly sad to see a place with so much potential not keep up the quality they started with.

Absolutely thrilled with our dinner! We totally didn't need 2 pizzas, as these were extremely filling, but totally worth it. You could tell that high quality ingredients were used to make the pizzas for sure. I also appreciated the little touches that went into everything, like the garnish on the blueberry lavender compote, and the fact that the watercress and dressing for The Magpie pizza were packaged separately for us, as we did a pick up order. That way the greens weren't wilted, and the pizza didn't get soggy! Also, I laughed at the art on the pizza boxes, hahaha. Definitely will order from here again in the future! <3

Overall good experience.
Booking online was easy, nice wait staff. Drinks and appetizers were amazing, just a little pricey. Same thing with the pizzas, good taste, just on the pricey side. Still definitely recommend, the castus cocktail and the tomato dip are must haves!

Loved the atmosphere and the service! The Spicy Boi pizza was delicious.

I wasnt sure about the parking situation. I think a lot of customers were parking in the winter club lot but there were towing signs around so we parked on a small side street.
