You're required to have a credit card, they do not accept debit cards, EVENTHOUGH funds on a debit card are immediately available whereas woth a credit card, they are not and rhe potential for fraud is even easier (make that make sense).

I don't do credit and I was so excited to get myself set up for this only to be met with complete disappointment.

The woman who greeted me was friendly but unhelpful. There was a strong lack of empathy.

Early last year I moved Downtown and had my car written off not long after, during the pandemic. Purchasing a new vehicle didn't seem likely with cars being so high in demand and scarce to come by, which made it the perfect opportunity to try out Peg City Car Coop. I recognized the logo but it wasn't until I needed the service did I realize how useful it is!

For anyone that's conveniently located to their fleet, this fills the need for a vehicle and is complimentary to bus routes and walking. Anytime I'm driving a coop car, people always ask me about how it works and I list off all the advantages it has for ideal situations - it's not for everyone but it's there if you need it. Literally strangers will ask me about it and walk away both informed and intrigued about the service. They always ask me if I work for the company and I tell them I don't, l'm just a huge advocate for useful programs that benefit single income earners or anyone on a well-defined budget.

I love customer support, the purpose and the availability of vehicles. But I have had a past issues of reimbursements when owed an had to contact in order to receive my gas reimbursement months later. Also since the new app I can only see billing history for may 2022 and april 2023. I cannot even see any of my old billing statements. Those should be available to look at as well. Or at-least we should receive a compiled history of statements if one will not be provided in the new app. I understand it is new an It requires time but that is something kind of important. I understand log in issues but billing statements are important to people at times like this.

Peg City Car Co-op lets my spouse and I remain a 1-car household, while giving me flexibility to get somewhere by car when he's at work if I really need to (like vet appointments - many cars allow pets in carriers/on barriers). We're happy with the casual membership because we don't use it that much and weren't ready to put down the share for full membership. I've had no issues with booking and using the cars and have had responsive service when I've needed to reach out to the office for questions. Living in the West End, we're within a 10 min walk of 4 cars so it's really convenient. We've also used the cargo van a few times when we've needed to pick up a piece of furniture from a kijiji score or a neighbor giving something away. I'm looking forward to trying the "floating" cars once they're available this June. It's been so cool to see how this has grown from a vision to a fully functioning and growing service over the past decade or so.

I love Peg City Car Co-Op! The system is so easy to use. The one time I had a problem - because I had left something in the car and needed to get it back - I called and got excellent help right away.

Peg City Car Co-op rocks! We ditched our car several years ago and now walk, bike, take a bus or book a car to get around. The vehicles are easy to book, hassle free, and come in a variety of styles (cargo van, mini van, truck, car) to fit the trip. Oh, and the staff are super responsive and lovely. If you are toying with giving up the drag of vehicle ownership, do it! Peg City Car Coop makes it easy.

It is without a doubt a great company with really friendly and helpful staff it's a great way to save money and drive a newer car that has most everything you could want and all kinds of vehicles to drive from small cars to trucks and the best part everything is included from Insurance to gas the maintenance even Provincial park passes and bike rack and all kinds of goodies give them a call tell them I sent you you won't be disappointed

I’m a member of this co-op. I’m from out of town and it is super handy to be able to pick up a vehicle, spur of the moment, and use it for things that would be inconvenient or impossible by public transportation. Costs me $5-6 dollars/month to maintain the account when I’m not using it. Well worth it.

Highly, highly recommended! I have been a member for about 3 years and there is absolutely nothing I can complain about. It is extremely easy to - browse through the website, look at all of the available cars located throughout the city of Winnipeg, see the vehicle types, make a booking, then modify or cancel the booking at any time! Once registered, your life will become so much easier with being able to use their cars any time! I love the fact that there are so many different types/sizes of cars available, depending on what you need the vehicle for. Most cars are new, in excellent shape and they clean them regularly. The vehicle’s designated parking spots are always free, easy to find and conveniently located. Whenever I have had any trouble logging into my online account, questions about registration or using the cars themselves, Peg City Car Co-op was always super fast, friendly and helpful. Thank you so, so much. I will continue to be a loyal customer!

They keep charging me money I had my account for less than 2 weeks and never used the service, now it's charge over charge. Very unprofessional.
