I find the staff very friendly and helpful. The cashier greeted me with a friendly hello. I mentioned to her that I was going to Walmart to buy cat food and she let me know they price matched. It saved me a trip and i will now buy all my cats supplies there.

My 3 dogs and I love PetSmart the stores are always fully stocked with new and exciting products along with everyday items us pet parents need. The stores are always very clean and organized so things are easy to find. The staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable able all the products carried in their store and never hesitate when asked a question.

My dog Earl is anxious in new, loud situations. Angeline at the grooming centre is a miracle worker, 100% will be booking her again! Often times people can’t get him to cooperate, but by the end of their session he’s his usual puppy self. She can get him calm enough to where I can leave him alone in minutes. It’s impressive.

Friendly staff! My dog loves going in and seeing them. Had a grooming appointment for my dog and he was in and.out in like 5 minutes! Fast and a great job!

Good selection of pets and pet products. Lots of toys and food to choose from. I would recommend staff asking if anyone needs help if they notice them kinda roaming aisles searching for something.it took me awhile to find the pet food I was searching for. Other than that the shelves were well stocked.

I had a bad experience with a rude staff member. My daughter wanted to buy a goldfish for her 10 gallon tank, and the staff member immediately launched into a lecture about how terrible it is to keep a goldfish in that small of a space and described graphic details of the ways the fish would die. Meanwhile, there were multiple dead fish at the bottom of the aquarium we were looking at. It was a very off-putting experience and we chose to take our business elsewhere.

This is my second time ordering from this store and the service is amazing. I love the next day delivery option and the fact that you can follow your door dasher to the exact time of delivery. Also, the Empress Team left a note for me to say Hello to my pets haha. Us pet parents really do appreciate these kind gestures: D I look forward to ordering again, THANK YOU!

We adopted our newest addition to the family there. Purrcilla. We couldn't be happier with the service and help they provided in the process of meeting and eventually leaving with our Cat. Pricing is always amazing too!

Thank you PetSmart for being open and available compared to other pet stores. I had a great first visit and shopping experience since my last time to a pet store many years ago. Getting a Beagle puppy in the next week, and am happy to have bought all of my needed and wanted items in one visit. I'll be back ;)

Would give 0 stars if possible. The lack of stock is ridiculous. For over a year now, you have been "sold out" of your Top Fin Open glass aquariums, your top fin pro filters (75,100 gallon) and many more items. I have asked many times about when replacements will be in stock with 0 answers other than check the website. Which I obviously do, how else would I know it's been over a year. So if you want a store that carries items in stock, this isn't it.

Little disappointed, it's bad customer service. Went for supposed to be grooming for my puppy, went run a little bit late an our appointment was cancelled been told to rescheduled my appointment. I'm little bit upset they are very inconsiderate.

Nice of the manager to come out of her office on a busy Sunday afternoon when tons of customers are waiting - to yell at a staff member, and then retreat without helping anyone. She should run for the provincial government.

The staff are always friendly and knowledgable, the prices are very reasonable. It is easy to find what you are looking for and the store is always clean and organized. I highly recommend shopping at PetSmart for all your pets needs.

I hope that maybe someday I can work for this company. I enjoy my time in these pet smart store locations. But I've once again email the CEO about my major issues I wanna be refunded for all my cages I've got through Tiny tails. 600 inch cages would be alot bigger. Tiny tails seemed super cute n fun but only had my hamster 1yr now and I've gotta use tape around these O rings cause hamsters chew all of them which is easy for a escape

The place is well kept, staff are friendly but sometimes it's very hard to find someone for assistance. They're also often out of stock on certain products we get.

EDIT:

This review needs to be updated after today. Let me start off by I take the bus to get around, so when I go I tend to get quite a bit to save myself trips.

The total came out to be alot, which I thought was fairly normal. But I got on my bus and questioned it as soon as I noticed how much I really got. I looked at the receipt and I was charged for 48 extra containers of wet food for my cat.when I only got 16 of that brand!

It's a hot day +30, extremely windy. I just got off work, I had to completely back track to get my money back. The cashier didn't apologize for her error, infact she barely acknowledged what she had done!

To top it off when I was originally at checkout, she was just throwing the containers in the bag.literally didn't care that those containers are plastic with a foil seal that are prone to break. And guess what? Some did! But I should not have to back track again when everything should have been handled properly and professionally.

I have enjoyed Pet Smart for the most part. They carry the products my cat enjoys but I don't think I'll be coming back for awhile, especially to this location.

Quick look for a dog food dish that is elevated off floor. They had one, I bought it. In the store 5 minutes.
Cashier was pleasant, no concerns.

Customer service was great. They don't appear to be enforcing the wearing of masks though as there was a customer wandering the aisles without one and nothing was said.

It is a smaller one, but they seem to have almost everything anyways. If you don't find what you are looking for, just ask, they are always friendly.

Booked an appt to have my cat groomed (bathe and cut pkg) 2 weeks in advance. Had to reschedule another 2 weeks later due to a work thing. Called back a few days before appt to confirm what shots had to be updated before appt. Instead, I get an email telling me they cancelled my grooming appt! Poor communication. Poor customer service. Don't recommend them based on this experience. Will find a local geoomer instead not a corporation.

Always clean, sorted and orderly. Well stocked. As my dog needs meds, and is allergic to chicken, Pill Pockets were impossible. They suggested a great frozen peanut butter treat. Thanks do much!

I prefer the one on leila but the workers here are just as friendly, just not as knowledgeable about fish. This is based on the few visits I've done, maybe they have a fish hobbyist employee I've never met.

I was contacted by the assistant manager regarding my review and they offered a full refund for my troubles. I also want to clarify that while I was upset by the groom, the staff there were phenomenal (even the groomer was very kind) and I will still shop there. Increasing review to 3 stars from 1 for their resolution.

Incredibly disappointed with the quality of groom I received at the Ellice location for my bichon (s). I was in a time crunch and they had the best availability.

Nails were not trimmed near enough, ears were not cleaned (and led to a minor bacterial ear infection), coat was not evenly shaved.

In addition, the cost is just too high for the sub-par service. I would highly recommend seeking out somewhere else to take your pups. I will never return for a groom.

Im so disappointed, I went in and pay for my dog to have a full grooming, but instead I receive my dog half shaved, without receiving a bath or any of the other things they promise in the full grooming having payed almost 100 dollars with the excuse that because my dog had some tangles in her hair they weren’t able to finish the job, I’m very new to Canada and I don’t know of much places but I went in thinking I was leaving my dog in capable hands but it wasn’t at all like that, they bruise my dog and gave her a half shaved, my poor dog left looking horrible and it wasn’t till I got home I noticed it was worst than what it first looked like at the store, the parts that they shaved were poorly done. I’m so mad and angry and they only refund me half the money for doing basically nothing. Never coming back again

The reptiles and amphibians they house live in filth and are clearly unhealthy. Bearded dragon with obvious signs of MBD and yellow fungus. They don't care about their animals there. I'll never support this pet smart location. Leila and Mcphillips is a much better store.

Today was the last time I get my dog groomed at this pet smart location. I originally booked online for June 2nd at 3, however the groomer had to cancel and I had to wait until 12 today, June 7th. I got there 11: 55 to be told that the appointment was moved to 12: 30. Ok nothing major yet, just some scheduling issues.

I drop my 11 year old dog off with them at 12: 30 and specify to shave him down with the lowest razor. I typically groom him every 3-4 months and use the lowest razor in the summer to help with finding ticks and drying faster. The lowest razor is #10.

I went to pick him up at 3: 30 to find that not only did they trim his nails (which I didn’t request!) but also that because the groomer wasn’t comfortable doing the lowest razor on him she instead used the #7 with the guard which is NOT what I asked off and ultimately resulted in a much longer finish coat length.

So — instead of calling me to confirm the razor length, instead of telling me when I dropped him off that she was concerned about using the lowest razor, I had to pay over $40 today for this ‘grooming’ - and I’m just going to have to get him done again next week (at a different groomers of course) to the length I originally specified. I am very disappointed with my experience today!

On the upside the store front cashier was helpful, where she could be, and polite.

If the manager would like to call me I would very much like to talk to them.
