Pho Cuu Long Restaurant

This has undoubtedly become my new go-to spot for Phở! I've made it a personal mission to sample every saté beef soup in the city, and Phở Cuu Long has secured the top spot with its incredibly flavourful broth. The consistency of the broth was just right, perfectly aligning with my preferences. Moreover, the generous amount of meat in my soup added to the overall satisfaction of the dining experience. The pricing was reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food.

As a delightful bonus, my boyfriend opted for the Curry Chicken Pho, and it turned out to be a great choice as well. We're definitely planning on making a return visit soon!

Love this place. Great service and big portions of delicious food. Very accommodating staff made small alterations to some dishes fory wife. Nice and clean and the food comes out quickly. Good parking out front or along side streets. Would recommend!

Excellent place for Vietnamese cuisine. The pho, beef sate and curry chicken noodle soups are all perfectly seasoned, and of a good portion size.

The self rolling wraps have a substantial amount of filling to satisfy all but the biggest of stomachs. Nice meal on a hot summer day.

Very busy around dinner time, especially on weekends. Don’t expect your take out to be ready at the stated time. Usually an additional 10-15 minute wait during those times. Otherwise service is very good.

Absolutely delicious. A must try. The service is fantastic. The food is very good and reasonably priced. Yummy.

This is our favourite Pho place in the city. The food is delicious (all of what we've been able to try off the extensive menu) and the people are lovely. They are also very allergy friendly - I have an allergy to nuts, fish and peanuts and they can always accommodate and we've never had issues!

Love that I found this place. There are a lot of options in the city for Vietnamese food, but this is the first time in a long time that I was excited while eating. Amazing food! I'll be back for sure.

Was driving down St Mary’s looking for a nice place to grab a bite with my girlfriend and we stopped here. Incredibly beautiful relaxing environment with such kind staff, amazing artwork and relaxing music.

Takeout was flying out the door when we arrived and the rice noodle tofu dish we had was absolutely delectable.

They even brought us a place of strawberries near the end of our food.

Hugely recommend and we will be back!

Great place to dine with family/friends. The price you pay for the amount of food you get is better than a lot of other restaurants around the area. The food was phenomenal would love to make this a regular place to visit!

Our waitress was very nice but we didn’t like the taste of our hot and sour soup, it tasted like ketchup, we sent it back after 2 bites, and the manager charged us for it after we asked him to take it off the bill. Unpleasant experience, we won’t be giving them our business in the future.

This place is not fancy, but it makes up for it with some really delicious food. In addition to the appetizer platter, we had shanghai beef noodles, 5 spice eggplant, and chicken with snow peas. It was all very tasty (the 5 spice eggplant was particularly delicious. This is NOT Chinese 5 spice, so understand that it's quite spicy). Only issue I had was minor in that some of the beef in the noodles was cut in larger chunks and ended up tough and chewy.

Portions were fairly substantial, and we left full for just under $65. Not batld for post covid pricing.

Updated 2023 - (still 5 stars!) - Great service, delicious food, welcoming setting. We always look forward to our visits here. We have our favourites and also like trying new things too. Today I tried the jackfruit bubble tea and enjoyed it.

Original - Friendly and knowledgable staff, good service, clean and bright setting. Delicious vermicelli salad bowls - we had one with chicken and spring rolls, and one with spring rolls. We definitely will return! Some parking on St. Mary's, and side streets have parking too.

I like this place! Food is quite good and the service is good. I always ordered the vermicelli, however they don’t fill it up as much as they used to and the flavour is a bit different now

I picked up pho, chicken with vegetables, fried rice, chow mein, and veggie spring rolls. Everything comes in huge portions. It was all extremely tasty. The service was prompt and friendly.

They got slammed with tons of to go orders while we were in the restaurant and horribly managed everything. My sibling and I waited an over an hour to get two bowls of soup. My parents received their food much later than that. They watched us both finish out meals before they were served. My soup was delicious except the cuts of beef were over half fat and the pork slices were inedible and just pure hard fat. One of my parents ordered noodles which were so bland he ate them with soy sauce. Everything else was fine. Not sure if it was just a bad night, but it was very disappointing.

Ordered crispy chow mein and they put too much veggies. Less noodle I found.

Ordered the deluxe vermicelli very tastey but the meat was hard like jerky. Maybe that’s their style I prefer more tender.

Ordered pork chop deluxe with rice that was really good! Except for the beef that was harder in texture then the pork with noodles.but the pork chop was really good. More tender:)

The pho was really good and I loved how they’re use the flat rice noodle not the rounded ones from other restaurants. Flat rice noodle doesn’t seem to overcook as quick as others. And lighter to eat. I would come again to try more of their soups! Heard great things!

Not a good service experience. My wife and I waited 15 minutes for this vietnamese coffee. First off it was placed in a bubble tea cup saying they don’t have coffee cup which looks ridiculous. This photo is exactly what we got. Not even half full! Taste is usual. Not coming back at this store. Not recommended!

This place is everything I need in a pho restaurant. Broth was on point, accoutrements were exactly as expected, meats in the house special pho were all excellent, and the price was right. Definitely in the top group of Viet restaurants in Winnipeg and definitely the best in the south in my experience.

Pho Cuu Long is a wonderful place to come sit in and have a wonderful meal.
The staff are personable and welcoming to all customers.
Additionally, the location has a great atmosphere.
The food is delicious and always fresh.

If you're looking for a good regular spot to eat at this by far, it is most definitely the one you should consider.
Even if just in the Winnipeg area, it is worth the drive to visit.

10/10 would recommend to anyone as the menu is highly varied, hence why I believe it has a dish for almost everyone.

Fantastic consistent food. Good portions. Good value. It's our go-to Vietnamese restaurant in St Vital. Clean and updated restaurant if you're dining in. Quick service too.

The meals here are always the best. Portion sizes are generous. You can always take home leftovers. Several of their meals are also gluten free.

Very friendly customer service, the food was absolutely delicious with great portion sizes and it was prepared quicker than I anticipated for how great it was.

Awesome Asian restaurant with rich menu, big portions, very delicious food and not expensive. Some of the soups they have cannot be found in other Asian places.
