Pho No 1 Restaurant

This place never fail to satisfy with a good helping of healthy food - compared to many other restaurants, tasty dishes with veggies and decent pricing makes this a restaurant that deserves the name No 1 Pho.

The first thing I noticed were the portion sizes of the food on everyone’s table was huge. When I got my pho, I was surprised by how these portions of meat were incredibly generous, and the flavors were authentically delicious. All of this goodness comes at a very reasonable price.

The gentleman working there was really nice, quick, and the food came out quick as well. Only positive things to say. Location is a little weird, I had to park across the street and there was a homeless guy being loud, but that’s no fault of this restaurant. I’d love to come back and try more stuff on the menu!

Horrible experience here. The waitress was so rude and didn’t say a word to us. I felt very unwelcomed. And food came lukewarm and not season very well, bland. Would not recommend

It is highly recommended. I have ordered fried rice many times, and it is really, really delicious. I especially like No. 83 fried chicken rice. Very clean and tidy restaurant

Our favourite place for pho. Either my partner or myself always order #216 deluxe sate beef rice noodle soup. I also really like their Bo Bun Hue. We've been going here for many years and we always have a craving

As a visitor from Toronto, I was blown away by my visit to Pho No 1. Unfortunately, we were only visiting for a few days, otherwise we would have come back to try more. The restaurant was busy and the staff was friendly. Everyone from our group highly enjoyed their meal. I tried the Rare Beef Pho and I have to admit that it’s probably the best I’ve had lately. I’m looking forward to a return visit to Winnipeg, which will definitely include a visit or 2 to Pho No 1!

Quick service. Food was very good. I ordered the deluxe vermicelli and was not disappointed. I would recommend this Vietnamese restaurant

Their Pho is easily one of the best in town. The broth is rich and flavorful. We also got the Com Tam Suon Bi Cha, which is also very good on its own and even better when you pair it with the pho broth. The portion is good, with a decent amount of tender/juicy meat. Will come back for sure. Oh also, their front door is stuck sometimes, so if you cannot open it, just call them or knock real hard. I called.

This restaurant definitely isn't fancy and you won't get waiters sucking up to you for a tip. What you will get is polite service and amazing food.
The place is a family run business that is fast paced. Don't expect to linger longer as there are people waiting.
You get in, order your food and leave.
They never upsell you on drinks.
Water is usually the way to go. The food is amazing, your senses will be overloaded with delicious aromas from every direction.

We have been coming to this place since it has opened! Friendly service, family owned, with service and great food!
We ordered a couple of banh mi’s, viet coffee is a must, vermicelli bowl which my daughter made vegetarian and they were happy to make for her, curry Chicken fried rice is always amazing, fried chicken and sizzling beef and mushrooms. All was Amazing as always! Fast friendly service and pricing is all worth it. For a family of 4 is about 60-70 on all that we had ordered which was a lot!

Food was delicious and reasonably priced. I got a plate with rice, vegetables, spring rolls and chicken balls. It was very good. It's a small restaurant and I just managed to get a table.

The pho was amazing. The menu had something for everyone. The spicy peanut soup was my favourite and would recommend highly.

Lots of menu choices. Food tasted fresh and didn’t take too long.
Gets crowded at Dinner time with people waiting near the exit for a table, that's not really the restaurant's fault though, if people want to wait, because they don't have a reservation. They do take reservations in advance, so it's best to book a table if you are coming at dinner time.

Note: Pho #1 is closed on Tuesdays.

I have been to basically all Vietnamese restaurants in Winnipeg. I come once a week and I'm driving in from Selkirk Mb. I come with me, my wife, my 12 year old son and now my brand new 5 month old baby son. Every single time the Owner and his wife are amazing and ask my son how school is going and they absolutely love my baby boy. The food, is always 100% perfect. The pho broth is amazing without adding any other seasoning. The vermicelli bowls, salad rolls, deluxe pho no tripe with a ice cold Vietnamese coffee are what I order. I've been here over 100 times in the last few years and not one time have I ever had a complaint.
I love this restaurant and so does my family. To the owner and his wife, I am the very tall guy that comes in and orders a deluxe pho bowl no tripe, vermicelli bowl deluxe and a ice coffee, 10/10 every time. Love it. Thank you.
