My cat has dental removal today. So far it’s good. She feels okay. Price seems to be fair, though will be way more expensive than it actually was.

Dr Surmeet was great. He took his time to look at my girls injury and explained everything well.

I love this vet clinic, and the vets themselves are truly the reason why.

At the last place I went to, it was straight to business. The vet would immediately start working on the animal and assessing them, which made them so scared. But here, they make the pets so comfortable and seem like they genuinely care about them getting better.

Edit: had my first bad experience here, I'm so sad I thought they were perfect before. The vet looked at my cat for what felt like 2.5 seconds, then left the room for almost half hour. He came back with a bunch of medication for my cat as "precautions".

Went to another vet to get a second opinion, they were confused as to why my cat was prescribed half of what he gave.

I called the vet clinic and asked to not see this specific doctor again for my pets, and SURPRISE he's the only one I get now when I go in.

We recently moved to the area and started bringing our golden retriever puppy, Bowie, to this vet.

Bowie's been a bit of a handful, from swallowing rocks to ongoing tummy troubles, various eye infections, ear inflammation and possible allergies. But every time we've needed help, this vet has been there for us. There have been many times where they squeezed us in the same day which is SO appreciated.

The care Bowie's received here has always been top-notch. We've met a few different vets, and they've all been fantastic.

I have never found this vet to want to empty your pockets either. They have always presented to us all the options, been very upfront about costs and have looked out for Bowie’s well-being, every single time. In the grand scheme of vets I’ve visited in the past, I find the pricing here to be very reasonable. This place is truly a gem, and I couldn't recommend them more.

They take great care of our dogs. Every time we come, we have a great experience. The vets are gentle and kind with our dogs - we appreciate having a great vet so close to home.

Saved my cats life.

Staff are friendly and compassionate. Everyone was kind and handled our little guy with care. Dr. Narula was very upfront about costs, called us every morning with an update and called to check in a few days after we took him home.

Would recommend.

Our old Rotty was paralyzed waste down from a tick bite causing an autoimmune disease. They supplied drugs that saved her on first diagnosis.

Very impressed and even more greatful for what they accomplished.

Beware of upcharges!

$700 for an uncomplicated UTI diagnosis. Outrageous amount for that sort of thing. They failed to treat my dog (twice). I was very polite each time I contacted them despite my frustrations but they refuse to do anything to help my dog. Exploitative and inhuman. They refuse to take the responsibility therefore they've lost my business.

Plessis Vet Hospital sent a lovely card to my mom after her cat was put down. All the staff signed it, and it said 'To the family of Shadow', which was so nice that they took the time to personalize it. We highly recommend Plessis Vet Hospital.because you can be promised your pet will be cared for and loved!

I really appreciate everything they did for my past cat Cats (rip) and for my current cat. Will have to bring my other cat soon! Thank you so much! ️

I cannot say enough what amazing staff and Dr's work here. I moved back to transcona just under 1 year ago. My persian exotic cat Arlo was already very "senior". The care and compassion Arlo & I received was second to none. They saw me through his health struggles and his end stages of life. I just picked up his urn and paw prints today and again was met with more kindness. Thank you to everyone here. You made a very difficult time in my life easier than I anticipated. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Got me in the next day after we adopted a pup spur of the moment. Doctor was kind and courteous. Went over every single question I had and they were absolutely wonderful. Heard an issue out in the hallway while I was sitting and waiting and they were very respectful, very kind while this person was berating them for being 15 minutes late. As someone who has worked in veterinary care, 15 minutes is nothing. My dad and my sister both go here as well and honestly it's a lot better than what it used to be when they first opened.

My kitty Miloh had a terrible skin irritation problem.originally i had taken my kitten to pembina vet, they scammed me beyond belief.once i had no money and miloh was getting more and more sick by the day i had called around and found plessis vet hospital.thank god i did.i told them what happened, not only did they take me in THE DAY OF, they also listened, made sure to explain everything to me fully and made it as affordable for me as possible.if it weren’t for them, i would’ve had to give my baby away.now miloh is almost fully recovered, only 2 more weeks of medication.i would like to specifically thank dr.sumeet and dr.virkam, these 2 have been so caring, compassionate and kind.they always listen to my opinion and give me constructive feedback.this is a vet that everyone should come to.some of the absolute best people work here, even the women at the front.they’ve always been so welcoming and kind.thank you plessis vet! Normally, I’m very happy with the service we receive at Plessis vet. Veterinarians are good and they’re very understanding of the care that is required for my dog and the history he has with them before we even got him. However, since they’ve expanded their business, it’s almost impossible to get through on the phone lines (we cal throughout the day at various times). Messages aren’t returned, at least one staff member is abrupt and rude. Another one was quite helpful the other day when we finally were able to get through after calling 8 times. If you’re going to expand your business and become busier, taking on more clients as you have more doctors, you should also expand your front end staff. Maybe have somebody who is soley in charge of taking calls and making appointments. Plessis’s is all the way across the city for us because of the Great care they’ve given our beloved dog in the past, we make the drive.however, if I’m going to be talked down to or deal with people with attitudes or not be able to get through for days on end, I may have to regretfully consider going somewhere else. This veterinary clinic used to be so attentive and hands on. I always appreciated the Follow up calls after appointments, and now I don’t even get a call back when I follow up myself, sometimes leaving 3 messages over the course of a week. I’m disappointed in the turn it’s taken. Not with the vets themselves, but in the inability to be accessible and the tone of some front end staff. When someone points out an issue, maybe don’t be so defensive and take it personally, and instead try to find a solution.

Once again Plessis Vet went above and beyond. I called and got my dog in within an hour. I had suspected my senior dog of kidney disease. Unfortunately I was right. The Vet explained everything to me. Once I got home and called with additional questions, he promptly called me back himself to answer them. I highly recommend them. Thanks again.

They never answer the phone or return calls, when they do, service has been great otherwise. Just wished they would answer or return calls!

We went there for our first visit with our puppy. Had a 9: 30am appointment and was there at 9: 25. Went to counter to say we're here, told to grab a seat then waited. Girls behind counter asked after 20 minutes for our name then waited another 10 minutes and that was enough of that. Left and went elsewhere.

Dr virdi saved my cats life with an operation and helped reverse his diabetes! Will take all my animals now and the future to him honest amd cares about the well-being of your animals!
Update 2022 found a small lump under one of my cats shoulder we were in for surgery as fast as could be all the blood work and analysis was done on site, front end staff are kind and easy to talk too its been over 8 or 9 years dr virdi has been my vet and i wouldnt consider going anywhere else for any of my pets. Your in good compassionate and honest hands here dont hesitate to bring your loved animals here!

The veterinarians are very professional, caring and try their best to work with your animal and you. Appointments are always available if you need them not like other hospitals that take several days if not weeks to get in. If you have any concerns or questions they are more than helpful to return your call ASAP which is very hard to get from another hospital. I recently lost one of my dogs and the hospital was very compassionate and caring, very pleased with this. Thanks

This has been the best place to take our pets. Not only did he save my husband's cat tito years ago, he recently just treated tito with the absolute best care during his surgery. Great communication with us, amazing care and attentiveness with our animals. Thank you for taking such great care of our pets. We will always recommend and never go anywhere else

I was told my dog's ears check-up would cost $79 plus med's after see the vet the bill came out to $226.00 never will we go there again. What a crock

By far the best vet clinic I’ve been too, we travel 8 hours to see the vets at Plessis and my animals are always treated like their own, the staff are very kind and compassionate and remember your face, even with the masks! We never have a problem getting our pets seen on emergency visits and they’ve always been so helpful and answer all my questions, very affordable as well️

All of the veterinarians, techs, assistants and receptionists have been courteous, friendly, and enthusiastic upon every visit.

Recently one of our dogs got very sick and we didn't think she would make it. Dr. Narula did his best and we are blessed to still have her with us today. She even seems to want to go back for a visit, they treated her so well there!

I’m really impressed with the staff at Plessis vet. I feel like my Dog is in good hands, as I feel they are very compassionate about animals.

First time there. Good experience so far. Friendly staff and they didn't seem like price gougers.

I have been going here for a few years, usually I have no issues but in the last year there have been too many communication issues. Even having things in writing and they still get it wrong. We will be looking for a new vet.

First time dog owner, decided to take our dog here as it was new at the time and closest to us. We took our pup here for 4 or 5 years but we're never fully satisfied with the care, especially from Dr. Virdi. I always got the impression they are just trying to get more money out of me - to the point that one time I was in for a routine rabies vax, and when the vet finally came in he gave my dog an unnecessary exam and found a tiny cut on my dogs lip. My dog had itched at his mouth literally WHILE we were waiting for the vet to arrive in the room, and it did not even bleed, yet the vet tried to tell me it was infected and needed to be prescribed antibiotics.

My dog gets ear infections due to allergies once or twice a year, and even if there's an infection in just one ear they always charge me for a cleaning in both ears, and proceed to prescribe ear drops that are not very effective. Since switching to oakbank I now get ear drops that need to be administered for WAY less time, and are more effective. Upon switching vets, Plessis never questioned why I was leaving, and promised to transfer my records - however after multiple calls by both me and the new vet, they have yet to move my records. Not impressed at all with this vet.

Plessis Veterinary Hospital is really wonderful. We started taking our dogs to them right after they opened and have been very happy with the caring and compassion shown by all staff. The Vets are very knowledgeable and understand that our dogs are family. They even call to check on our dogs after they get their vaccines. My husband and I highly recommend Plessis Veterinary Hospital.

Been bringing my dogs there for over a year since I got them. Recently my dog was nicked while grooming. It was not in a great spot so as he would move the wound opened more. I immediately called my vet very panicked as this had never happened to me before. They told me to send a photo and they would advise if I should come in or if it can be treated at home. I sent photos and after not hearing back for 2 hours I called them again.
They advised that the doctor was going to look at them right away and someone would be getting back to me shortly. I waited again. 5 more hours passed and an hour before they closed Friday I emailed once again to see why I still had not gotten a reply. This all happened on Friday. Fast-forward to today which is now Sunday in the morning. I received the first sign of a reply in the form of a missed call. When I return the call no one there knows what's going on or why anyone called me. No note on file. No email. All they can say is "I assume someone must have called to talk about that with you but I don't know What doctor or what they where going to say" so I tell them well I'm going to find a new vet and the response "ok sorry about that we will send you your file to your email right now. So you can take a minute to send my file and lose a customer but you can't take one minute to email to let me know if my dog should come in to get stitches! I'm also wanting to add that I was the whole time willing to just come in but they are the ones who asked mento send photos so they can advise if that was needed or not. Whethere or not it was i should have heard a reply. This is totally unacceptable and unprofessional. Their excuse "we are short staffed with covid"

Very professional, empathetic, and sympathetic staff that tries to make even the worst moments more bearable.

Went there for an emergency for our pup and they were amazing. It's not our regular vet but I would definitely go again if needed and I would recommend them!

I had some difficulty getting in to see my regular vet to bring my dog Sadie in for an injury to her torn nail. Understandable most vets are very busy, I called Plessis vet and I was able to get in the following day. I cannot say enough good things about how caring and thorough they were. Dr. Grewal was amazing and took care of her and explained everything he did and she is so much better. I don’t have to wait 2 weeks risking infection and that is a feeling I hopefully never have to face again. I brought Sadie there in January of 2021 when we thought the mass Tumour she had was cancerous. It wasn’t and they contacted pembina vet to book her in asap. I am beyond grateful for what they have done to put my concerns to rest. I strongly and highly recommend Plessis Vet to anyone wanting exceptional service for your pet. My deepest thanks to Dr. Grewal and office staff. Fantastic service.

Very accommodating with urgent needs. Staff are all professional and Doctors are very caring and knowledgeable.

When my cat developed a fever and stopped eating and my regular vet office was closed that day, I phoned several clinics and Plessis was recommended to me. It was extremely far from my home however I was able to get an appointment within the hour. Dr. B Grewal was very thorough and within a couple of hours had diagnosed an infection and treated it. The diagnostic blood work was also thorough and fully explained to me. He also thankfully gave her an antibiotic shot vs pills which to me was a huge relief as giving cats pills never seems to work out. So thanks for the speedy appointment and treatment, very much appreciated and worth the drive! Would highly recommend.

Very money driven.got a dog from a rescue here in the city and when I took my dog in for its first checkup the vet discussed what was covered within the amount paid to the rescue rather than asking how the dog was first

I moved from Texas and didn't have a vet here for my super-healthy 16-year-old miniature dachshund. Duchess suddenly became ill and I stumbled onto Plessis Veterinary Hospital. I called and they got me in the same day, even as a new client, knowing I was a little bit concerned about the way she was behaving. The doctor gave me a thorough explanation, including a plan and the potential there may be a need to make a decision if the better scenario didn't work out properly. I appreciated the honesty.

I got home and she immediately started vomiting. I called the Hospital and within minutes the doc was on the phone telling me the scenarios and answering additional questions. He explained what may happen next and what the best actions were. The next day, I made the decision that three days later was going to be the time for Dutch to move on and made the appointment. But the next day, things turned sour at 6: 15 and the hospital closes at 7: 00. I made a last minute call and they told me I could bring her in. They professionaly and quickly explained everything, made her calm and with clarity ensured me it was the right decision given the check-up they did. Perfect service. Perfect care. Perfect bed-side manner. Perfect empathy. And, perfect professionalism.

I couldn't imagine a better experience during such a difficult time. The owners/doctors/staff are above top-notch and the prices are completely reasonable. I, honestly, couldn't imagine having things gone better during such a rapid, unforeseen circumstance. I'd like to thank Every person there who was so kind and responsive.

Have been taking my dog here since I had her as a puppy. This is a great clinic and I recommend it to anyone who has a pet. The vets are incredibly thorough and patient with you, and the receptionists are fantastic and friendly as well. You can always get a quick appointment within a couple days, and even with COVID restrictions, their service is quick and efficient.

Dr. Grewal did a great job patching up Gemma after she was bitten in a fight. And they have longer hours which helped in am emergency.

Even this place is a bit far from my place, I've chosen this vet hospital for my fur babies. The staffs are great and friendly. The vets are really good. They give discounts to regular clients too.

A little strange staying in your car to have your pet examined, but the Veterinarian calls you and goes over any questions you have. Let's hope this pandemic is over soon so we can actually talk in person!

I have been bringing my dog to here for the last 4 years. I have always gotten excellent service and wonderful care for my dog Max! The doctor that I deal with has even helped me out virtually during the pandemic which I really appreciated! However, today I brought my dog in for a vaccination, which I was assured there would be no exam charge for. He had gotten a physical exam with all of his shots Etc in the spring and is due again this spring for another exam with his shots. When I got there, a doctor that I don't normally deal with informed me that he would be performing an exam and charging me $55 on top of the vaccination fee! I explained to him that Max had just gotten an exam in the spring and would be due for another one this upcoming spring 2021. He refused to do the vaccinations without the exam. I really don't think that it's necessary for a healthy dog to have to have that frequent physical examinations! I was specifically told that I would not be charged for a physical exam and brought him in under the pretense of not having to pay for one and then later told that I would have to pay for one! What a rip-off and a complete waste of my valuable time! I will not be bringing Max back here! Beware of this "hidden" fee!

I love my vet. They are always very helpful, kind and courteous. I lost my precious cat to old age yesterday, and they couldn't have made the process to have her cremated easier. They have a wonderful beautiful selection for Erns and quick and trusted service.

A little pricey but when your animal is sick Plessis Veterinary hospital is the best place for it.
They have their own lab and can get life saving results.

They took great care of my cat Hobbes! Got him in and diagnosed and treated immediately with a very clear explanation, plan and price point. Vets are certainly not cheap so it was still a pricey visit however I was very happy with the care he received and I would recommend it to anyone in the area.

They're very thorough in explaining the needs of my pet. Probably the most expensive Veterinary Clinic I have ever been to.

Even in these hard times the staff are working so hard to help our furry family members when they get sick or injured. They go above and beyond to care for their patients. Thank you for all that you do.
