It’s a fine store, in terms of the actual store itself it checks all the boxes: clean, great presentation, pleasant staff, and a solid selection.

My only real issue is their prices on some items, specifically retro titles. Everything’s either market or over market. I understand that shops like these are always going to be more expensive than eBay because you get a guarantee of the product you’re buying, but jeez $25 for Quantum of Solace on PS3, $105 for Metroid Prime Echoes, $85 for Double Dash disc only…

PNP definitely is aware they’re one of the few retro game shops in Winnipeg and I can respect what they’re doing from a business point of view, but as a consumer it can make it challenging to shop here for retro games.

Still a solid store and would definitely recommend if you’re in the Winnipeg area, but just have a way to compare prices on the go.

The service here is always above and beyond. This staff makes this location a 5/5. Amazing crew here

AMAZING staff. They are always friendly. Always wanting, and asking if I need assistance with anything. I love walking around and just gazing at everything.

They've got an amazing collection of retro & secondhand games. My daughter was able to find nearly everything she wanted.

It's a little out of my way from where I live but when ever I need stuff or games for my PS4 they always have it in stock and the staff and prices here are awesome

Was a nostalgic experience seeing older nes and snes games, nothing I needed this time, but will have to check again next time I'm in Canada.

Friendly staff good selection of hard to find used games. Ample parking and easy access to location.

Rude staff - in my opinion

I went to PNP for a last resort to pick up a game. I was the only costumer in the store, (I was wearing a mask of course)

cashier rushed me out and kept of repeating “no browsing”, everything was behind the counter and I WAS NOT touching anything I didn’t intend on buying.

Don’t have your store open if you have garbage policies. Sticking to EB games and eBay. Good luck on the sales

Denied browsing the store while someone else was today.went there Wednesday different staff working at the time way more friendly.it was more one specific staff member with glasses and long hair that maybe shouldn't be working customer service.how he said it came across pretty rude.been a long time customer of PNP but this makes me rethink that.went over to the mall EB games let me look around. NOW I had no intentions on touching ANYTHING unless I was going to buy it.
I know the gov is putting new restrictions and that is what the gents issue was there but that is AS OF MONDAY SEPT 28/2020 If you really do not want us browsing your stores you better make your website better and offer curbside pickup or same day delivery to make up for that massive short fall of not being "ALLOWED TO BROWSE" Don't want our money do you?

They take advantage of the skewed gaming market. Are alright if you want to buy a new game though.

Went to redeem my 10,000 points ($10) for a game I wanted and was refused because the game was only $9.99.the xp membership states $10 off anything in store, but because it was a penny less they couldn't do it.i feel as this is false advertising.

It's nice to see a place that sells older games and consoles! Their prices are mostly reasonable and store is organized and clean! Staff are friendly and knowledgeable

Asked for something and the employee decided to help 4 others before he said that he forgot about what I had asked for.
He took his sweet time on the phone with other customers instead of calling other locations like he said he was. I understand theres others to tend to. But when I'm standing there for 10 minutes watching you deal with others and not what I had asked for first.rude in my opinion.

Store doesn't honour their return policy and will blacklist you from the store. They tried to sell me a $400 headset they said came with an amp which it didn't. After calling head office they refunded me and banned me from the store lol.

This pnp was very organized and the staff was very helpful and made sure we were attended to. The store hours are a definite plus for us especially when we are from out of town. We look forward to checking the place out every time we're in. PNP pwns

Friendly staff, but the prices have become outrageous here. You can easily find any retro game they have cheaper elsewhere.

Excellent customer service. I purchased a PS4 fight stick from them, which stopped responding after about an hour of use. They were happy to replace the stick with a new one. The replacement was out of stock, but they promptly contacted me when they received a new one (within 2 business days) and the exchange went smoothly. The store was clean and well maintained, and the employees were always happy to help.

Annoyed that we bought 3 games there, when we got home, which was quite a drive, all 3 cases were empty. They never put the discs in the cases.

Always enjoy going to thier store. Friendly staff lots of games and every year there is free game day which is a great time and well organized.

I really like what PNP has to offer. They have a decent selection of games and hardware. I'm not an expert, so I can't speak of their prices, but I'm my own opinion, I feel that quite a few of their games are overpriced. They are my go to for vintage games, I just wish they were a little cheaper.

Manager of the medowood store made 3 errors with my purchase, first, he didnt redeem points like requested for $10, second he gave me the wrong saga genesis game (streets of rage when I clearly asked for streets of rage 2) and 3rdly gave me playstation final fantacy 4 disc case and didnt put the discs in it before I left the store, drove all the way home an hour away and ended up having to go all the way back that weekend to have evrything fixed. Got in touch with head office and they were able to make things a bit better for me and when I returned to the store to get the missing discs, a comment was made by one of the employees that the manager had messed up another purchase, so I wasnt the only one. I will on the other hand highly recommend the store on McLeod, I've been there several times and have NEVER had an issue, the manager is very knowledgable and extremely helpful!

Went here to get some video games for my grandson, staff were friendly and helpful and prices were reasonable. Would use again.

Horrible service, waited around at the counter for 5min to find the price of a game, both employees face down at the computers. Another customer walks in and has to ask the guy for help. I then ask the girl on the other computer for the price of a game behind the counter but she couldn't help me because she's "not on the clock yet"

Great staff, great selection, great company. If they don't have something in stock they can put you on the waiting list for it, and they come in quickly sometimes.

Just bought a C64 with games from my childhood. Summer and Winter games! The clerk was as excited as I was.

Awesome experience with the St Vital store. I went to them looking for a used Sega genesis game for a Christmas present for my son and they searched and found one that had cartridge case and manual. They had it shipped and it arrived before Christmas. They tested it and also swapped out the case for me as the case it came in wasn't the greatest.
This was probably the best customer experience I encountered during the holiday season. Thank you!
