Polo Park Dental Centre - Dentist in Winnipeg

Ever since Dr Rohan left as my Dr. I have been nickel & dimed, mislead and had my coverage maxed asap. I stayed out of respect for her, but I'm done. All they care about is taking your $. I do not recommend anyone go here.

The staff were very welcoming and understanding; not judgmental and eager to help me get past my fears and get my teeth the attention they needed.

Dr. Shelton went over everything with me and answered all my questions. Nicky was charming and gave me great shopping tips! You guys are wonderful!

Everyone is very friendly, great atmosphere, clean and modern facility. Dr. Robin Lau is the best! He explains everything and makes this nervous patient feel comfortable.

Any question I had was answered and made me feel at ease. The dentist and his assistant were both so friendly and very professional. Thank you:)

I was able to get an appointment on short notice after breaking a tooth. I had to see a different doctor who was very friendly, same as my regular doctor. I've always had excellent care at this clinic and today was no exception.

Another great visit at Polo Park Dental Center. Despite having one of their AC units down, staff had setup many fans to keep good air flow and kept the place cool and confortable. The staff there are always friendly and eager to help making the visit quick and easy.

Great staff, appointment was on time, and all my questions were answered. Clean and obviously up to date equipment. I would definitely recommend.

I can’t recommend Dr. Rohan and her assistant Erica enough! I use to dread going to the dentist, and these two have completely changed my experience. Dr. R is SOOO thoughtful and nice, she does great work! I feel 100% comfortable and know I’m in good hands. Erica always goes above and beyond to make the experience comfortable. I look forward to seeing these two gals every time I go in:)

Great personable bunch! Always offering up great advice and willing to answer any questions you may have. If I didn't have to keep my yapper open the whole time, I'd be passing out on the cozy recliners. Highly recommend them!

Very knowledgeable and very well organized for receiving patients in a timely manner. Overall experience was pleasant for me.

All of the staff on the clinic was really helpful and kind. My hygienist keep on checking me if I am okay while cleaning my teeth. I love the ambiance of the clinic as well, it is good in the eyes. So far, me and my daughter really had a great experience last time and we are both excited for our next appointment.

I love this place for my dental maintenance. They make everything smooth and painless. Plus I get free lip balm!

All the staff there are very professional, friendly and kind. They seem as though they enjoy the jobs/professions. I would highly recommend them to everyone. I have been going to Polo Park Dental since the 1980’s and have only gone elsewhere on a few occasions.

Dr. Huma Rohan is one of the most genuinely kind people I've ever met. She doesn't just care about her work (which is top), she cares about her patients as humans. Stay gold, Dr. Rohan.

My Family has been getting their dental care here for about 40 years. Wouldn't even think of any where else! They are also very accommodating with emergencies!

We were looking forward to seeing Dr Lau but we were misled by his staff about Covid protections. We were told that all staff would be in N95s and that they have HEPA filtration in every room.

All staff from reception to the hygienists were in surgical masks except for Dr Lau. The dental assistant had to be asked 4 times to change their mask before working with our kids. Asked for HEPA filtration to be moved into the room. She moved it but didn’t turn it on. I turned it on and the display read “filter required”.

I wouldn’t have asked about the Covid precautions unless it was important to us. We never would have booked had we known.

There are other dentist offices still requiring masks and protecting themselves *and* their patients.

We are so disappointed.

Let me preface this review with I normally avoid the dentist at all costs, and I have coverage. I booked the first dentist appointment in a few years and really enjoyed the experience I had. They took me in promptly, and took great care of me. After x-rays, they noticed I need a root canal! First thing the dentist asked is, to make sure I have the coverage I would need, and the best approach to help me get it done without breaking the bank. I hugely appreciated this as I am a younger guy, who is growing in his first career job. I know some doctor's/dentists which just wait till the end to hit you with the bill. This gave me a big comfort in moving forward as I knew they took notice of the situation, and made sure I have all the details in front of me I needed. Afterwards, I got a terrific cleaning from Sharon which she was very patient and accommodating.

I will be back soon!

Where have you been all my life? Good customer service from the front desk to the doctor’s office. Dr H. Rohan and her assistant were awesome. I have found a home I can always run to. Keep up the good work and thank you from the depth of my heart.

This is a great place, they make you feel comfortable and can’t believe Dr. Rohan remembers you from her many clients, but she does! Reception is also very, very accommodating and flexible with appointments and you can usually get in the same day you call. I live 3 1/2 hours from Winnipeg and am so glad my niece recommended this dentist after mine retired, they work around your other scheduled appointments so I can do all appointments in one trip. You seriously won’t be disappointed in any of the staff they are friendly, caring and explain all options as well as letting you know in advance what the cost may be. Give them a try, you will be glad you did! ️️️

LOVE this place! Totally worth the 30 min drive, all the staff is so lovely, kind and patient. I was a few minutes late for an appointment (baby was not enjoying the car ride) and I didn’t even get backlash like some other places have done to me. They are understanding, and don’t even question it and I didn’t get a fee. Dr. Noah Corso is very thorough and understanding! I will continue to go here for my teeth:)

My family has been a client for years now and I'm extremely impressed with the end to end patience experience. Here, they care, about the quality of the work AND the quality of how the patience feels. My kids are so comfortable they don't need mom or dad with them, that says a lot!

I am in Winnipeg (from Toronto) to run a conference and ended up with a painful tooth infection last night. The team at Polo Park Dental Centre managed to squeeze me in just before closing and Dr. Robin Lau was amazing! Compassionate, informed, gentle, and very accommodating. The office is clean and beautiful; patient privacy for intake and billing - just perfect! Feeling so much better already! I would recommend this dental office without hesitation.

Booked and appointment and then they conveniently couldn't find my booking because their receptionist didn't do their job.outstanding work.

Dr. Huma treats her patients like family. She’s extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and makes going to the dentist a fun experience not a “pull my teeth out” kind of thing. She’s fantastic and easy to deal with and I would recommend anyone looking for an amazing dentist to her practice! I was helped out by the Hygienist Simone and Huma’s assistant too and they are all excellent at what they do! My wife has gone to the same dentist 29 years of her life but will soon be joining me here just after interacting with Dr. Huma and her team for like 10 minutes.that’s how amazing you guys are! The staff at the front desk were welcoming. Dr. Minuk, Rhonda, Charles were all competent, and kind. The woman in the billing office was equally amicable. Taken all together, their friendliness and professionalism make "a trip to the dentist" quite enjoyable.

I have over three decades experience with many hours in the chair. Staff are very caring, personable and professional. Over this time I've noticed only 'bossy' hygienist is no longer there.it's like meeting friends.

Let's face it, no visit to the dentist is every like a trip to the spa. With that said, Polo Park Dental Centre gets about as close as you can get. Dr Pierce and my hygienist (I think her name was Mara?) took great care of me. Polite, funny, efficient service, informative through the process, and I appreciated the high/low quote during the initial exam. The office is beautiful and the overhead TVs help you divert attention away from the instruments in your mouth. Would recommend to anyone!

NO RESPECT FOR RIGHTS UNDER PHIA. The dentist admitted without shame that "I showed your x-ray to a friend of mine. He couldn't believe what I did. ". No consent provided for disclosure of personal health information. I called the office that administers the Personal Health Information Act. They said "A dentist shouldn't be taking your x-rays to show off their work to friends. " I was advised to contact the Ombudsman. I still might. This violation of my rights has imposed a mental burden upon me as I wonder: Who is her friend? A dentist? Just some dude? How did she show off her work? Did she print a copy to take home? Send an image via email? It may not be mental anguish, but it does bug the hell out of me. I would have given the business a five star review for cleanliness, friendliness, and quality of service, but this lack of respect for privacy is unacceptable. I hope the big shots have words with Dr. Rohan and tell her that she shouldn't be taking items from patients files to show off to her friends. Again, I still might contact the ombudsman. It depends on how Polo Park dental does, or does not, respond to my review.

Great friendly and knowledgeable staff. Huge facility. Everyone gets a tv with remote while they work on you. Amazing experience for a dentist lol.

I am not a fan of dentist visits but the staff and doctors make it much easier for me. Highly recommended.

They always welcome me with a very good smile and always makes me feel that they care. The clinic is so clean and very updated. I can’t wait for my next visit again! 5 stars isn't enough! I have always had major anxiety when it came to going to other dentists, but this place has blown me away with the professionalism and quality of care they have ALWAYS provided to me. Highly recommend Dr. Rohan, she is so amazing! Very gentle and explains everything very clearly, she got the issue fixed and had me out of there feeling very happy! The place is clean and newly renovated, the staff is friendly, you will not be dissatisfied.
