We booked our Fur Baby in from 2 provinces away. Everyone was friendly and professional. Most importantly, our Pup was happy there.

My dog always has a blast when he's at daycare and always comes home tired and happy!

I've used Pooches Playhouse many times for my two dogs. I'm really happy with the services they provide. Its pretty convenient to get their nails trimmed at the same time while in daycare. I would recommend Pooches Playhouse to anyone who loves their pets.

I haven’t been here before but I was considering it. I have a small dog and wouldn’t want her getting hurt. After reading the review responses from the owner and about them deleting negative reviews I won’t be. That’s a bit of a red flag for me that the owner is getting so defensive towards peoples reviews. People are allowed to have an opinion on their experience. To the owner: You do realize, that just because you don’t recognize a users name doesn’t mean that they weren’t a client? People can use an anonymous user name. How would someone who had never been here know what it’s like?

We love Pooches Playhouse! A very reliable dog daycare In the transcona/kildonan area. Our dog is always very excited when he realizes where we are going when we are close by in the car, and he is always tired when we pick him up! The staff is friendly and know our dog by name! They go the extra mile with birthday photoshoots, giving owners treats like macarons on their anniversary (wow!) and posting videos of the dogs on their instagram story throughout the day so we can check in. Highly recommended!

The last time I brought my dog to this facility, big dogs and little dogs were not separated. As an owner with a large dog who likes to play rough, this makes me very nervous. Would hate for a small dog to get trampled or caught up between two big dogs. The staff seemed fairly annoyed when picking my dog up at the end of the day. Although my dog loves playing with other dogs, she did not seem happy to go back. We have since switched facilities and she is much happier to enter the other building.

Very nice and accommodating staff! They know each dog by name which is pretty awesome! My dog is always happy after a fun day at pooches. They’re social media is always updated so you can watch how your dog is spending the day. We really like it here!

Owner is deleting negative reviews mentioning that their gross negligence recently resulted in two small dogs losing their lives after being attacked by a large dog that had shown aggression towards them in the past. Look at the reviews on Indeed from people who used to work there - the employee to dog ratio is ridiculous and conditions are unsafe and unsanitary. No dog daycare should run like this. Very professional, courteous and our puppy loved it. They post videos and pictures so you can see how your dog reacted to the experience.

Two dogs died in their care from a larger, unsupervised dog that had been known to be aggressive before. The owners have not stepped up or apologized or changed their business practices.

My dog Diesel has recently started at pooches playhouse and loves it, the staff are amazing with the dogs and rates are very reasonable.

My girl luna has been going to Pooches Playhouse for almost 4 years now. We started off at a different daycare in my area and was unsatisfied with there care of luna and her Mama kylie was also there for a short while. My girl loves going to Pooches so much she cries when she sees the building the owners Meghan and Kory are amazing with all the pups and the staff well what can ya say about these girls their love of their job shows in the care they provide these pups. I've had many different dogs from pitbulls to shepherds I started with a Husky and now once again have a Husky and I'm very happy that Kory and Meghan are Strong pack leaders and know every pups name this shows they really love what they do. I took my dog there a few times. He always came home scared. I was worried about so many dogs in one space. I was worried about the mix of large and small dogs. I worried about the mix of high energy and timid dogs. I ended up going to another doggie daycare in the area. I loves that NOTHING was hidden from view. Everything was open for all to see. And big/high energy dogs were separated from small/low energies dogs. They even assessed temperament before allowing us to stay for the day.

It broke my heart to hear of the tragic event that led to the lost of two beloved pets. All my fears about this place were realized, which compelled me to write this post. Even worse was how it appears it was handled. Do your homework, ask questions trust your gut.

My dogs been there 3 times. Staff is friendly and filled me in how my dog was doing. And most importantly my dog is supper excited every time we go in.

This is a fantastic place. Our dog loves coming here. The staff are very helpful and the owners are amazing. Our dog comes home exhausted from her visits. Highly recommend to anyone with dogs.

This is a great place to bring your pooch. Friendly staff and well knowledgeable. Gunner loves going here. I don’t have my dog anymore but he would still be going there. Awesome place

Been taking my little monster here for several years now. Always a fantastic experience. He runs out of the car to their door and he always comes home played out.

I love it, and judging from my hearing loss in my right ear my pooch loves it as well.

Today was my pup's very first day of daycare, and she seems to be LOVING it! I really like that Pooches Playhouse takes the time to snap pictures/videos and post it on their social media page. They also let me know how well it was going for my dog, which I really appreciated as she was really nervous when I took her there.

Do not ever go here. This business takes ONE HUNDRED PERCENT of all tips. If you think you're tipping the wonderful people watching your dogs, you're not. Take your pets elsewhere.

Meaghan, Korey and the rest of the staff all take fantastic care of our dog Charlie every time he goes for daycare or overnights. Charlie will begin whining with excitement as soon as we pull into the parking lot, pulling us right to the door from the car.

Our dog, Tank, went to Pooches Play House for the first time
today. He cannot hide his joy from
his experience. Highly recommended. We will regularly take him at least once a month.

All I have to say is that every time I tell my dog Chester he is going to daycare, he runs to the car and can't wait to go. He gets very excited about going. Great place and wonderful staff.

Amazing staff and owners. They really know how to make an animal feel welcome and create a safe atmosphere for the dogs!

Pooches is the daycare we take our giant breed Cane Corso Zeus to! He loves every second he's there and is out cold as soon as he comes home!
We've had many issues at other daycare centres around the city but have come to the conclusion that they just didn't know how to deal with large breeds properly.
The people here are amazing with our dog, and I recommend them to everyone!

We love dropping our pooch off at doggy daycare. She always has a good time with all the other dogs there. Also love the indoor and outdoor areas for them to enjoy. Always greeted with a smile and knows pooch by name.

My dog loves it! She has so much fun and comes home tired from all the playing and fun. The humans are great too.

Best day care in Winnipeg. Hands down. Great care, awesome staff, wouldn't leave my boys anywhere but here!

Friendly staff and the groomer does a great job on my dogs nails. Low price for nail trims lower than all the local pet stores last time I checked.

We take our dog here for grooming every three or four months. The next available appt is 4-6 weeks ahead so worth booking the next appt when you pick your pooch up! We’ve also had her there for day care and overnight stays. She loves it. The photos they post of the fur friends having fun really made us feel more comfortable with leaving our fur baby with professionals while we enjoyed the sand and sun down south. Would totally recommend Pooches Playhouse & have definitely encouraged our family and friends to bring their gods (dogs) here.

I was UNpleasantly surprised with the customer service I got there this morning.
Talked to Meaghan couple times over the phone and she was super nice and friendly.however when I brought my dog there, she was not in and I talked to either Eric or Rick (cannot remember the name exactly). He did not even say hi and did not smile and was not friendly at all. I explained that this is my first time here. Eric/Rick asked if I brought the papers and I felt like I am at the USA/Canada boarder and have forbidden products in my car.
Anyway. I asked if I could see the place before I leave my dog.he said there were 60 dogs there and he will not let me in and that I have to make appointment on Monday to see the property. I explained that I made an appointment with Meaghan for today. He insisted that it has to be Monday. Again, in the manner that he was talking to be was very unprofessional. Gave me the feeling that I owed him something. I totally get that there are rules and policies BUT got to stay professional and polite and friendly if you want to attract/keep customers. But I guess Eric/Rick thinks that they have enough clients.well good luck.
Definitely not going to recommend/go back to this place.
