Prairie Donair Portage La Prairie

Driving through and got to stop here for a quick supper. Our food was fresh and tasted great, amazing service and they keep this place sparkling clean.

I absolutely love it here!
I live outside town and drive in just for their food. I made it a mission to try almost everything on the menu and I have to say, it’s delicious.
I’m worried they think I’m addicted, they would be right. (Always my go to when I’m in town!)
I highly recommend. (I spend $ a lot here and I’m never guilty or sorry, ever!)
I’m extremely pleased they came to Manitoba!
Im sad they are out of strawberry mango smoothies as they are out of strawberries. Thank you for the free smoothie to ease my broken heart. It means a lot and I will always come back! Please don’t leave or move….

Frickin YUM! Wanted something different after work tonight and tried Prairie Donair and it was delicious! The Famous Chicken and Lamb. I did omit the hot peppers (I'm a whimp) and was still flipping awesome. We will be back! Thanks!

Had a large lamb and chicken donair and it was about the size of my forearm! Needless to say it was delicious. Fresh ingredients, large portions, huge menu selection, staff was very friendly. I'll be going back for sure.

Best food I ever had and hospitality is also awesome, staff is also very friendly.
Ambience is very nice, I loved the place and definitely I’ll visit again.

Food was good. Did the east coast donair. Flavor was there, but the proportions of meat to bread were off. Best option I have had on the prairies, but needs a little work to match the Nova Scotia way.

Any place that gives away free donairs gets 5 stars just on principle. They started out well with their soft opening by offering free donairs and we partook.
We had the Greek donair and it was yummy. Good size and a good mix of ingredients.
Let's hope they do well in Portage la Prairie.

When she went for the second scoop of cheese I knew, I just knew prairie donair will be a good addition to our town.

Great Donair! Fresh healthy ingredients. Very happy to see this store open in Portage La Prairie. Staff were all very friendly. Wait time for the food to be ready was reasonable too. I would go again for sure.

The traditional Shwarma Donair was absolutely delicious! Can't wait to go back and try some of the other options! Staff and Management are all very friendly and provided fast, quality food!

Staff are polite, courteous and eager to please. Serving sizes are extremely generous with very reasonable pricing. Food was very fresh and flavorful. Would highly recommend!

I arrived at this place at 8: 57PM (on a sunday) because I never seen this restraunt before. Checking out the menu outside by the window and one of the employees come out asking me If i wanted to order something. I just wanted a poutine. By surprise they welcomed me in and took my order. Waited a couple mins for the order, got it left at 9: 07, eat it and it was the best one ive had. This poutine is #1 on my list now. 5 stars all categories.
