You get the worst service in the industry. Staff are rude and don’t care. It’s over there I’m told.
I hate stopping at this location. I only do when I’m in a pinch. The main location is by far the best.
Today I’m looking for abrasive sanding pads. I ask a guy putting stock out. He says. I don’t work out here. I’m in shipping. Go look over there.
I ask another girl. She says. Look down the isles up front. Well for Frick sakes. I’m on the clock. Someone please take me to them

It was our first visit here. It is a foreign place, but staff were quick to help find what we needed

It’s like a crack house for me. I can’t go in that store for something and leave with just what I came for. The selection is awesome.

Lots of staff to assist you. Got some great deals as many items marked down by as much as 75% while doing store renovations. Very clean and staff help keep everyone safe during these times. The scratch and dent sales are always interesting with some great deals. Always something new in the surplus section. Always have good sales in the flyers. Staff are always willing to assist.

AMAZING after sale service
We Purchased a generator October of last year, didn’t get around to putting it together until yesterday and then realizef that it was missing the ignition key to get it started.so I went back to the Panet store to ask for a key and I was told they no longer are selling this model of generator because it has been discontinued.
My model is a 4650 W generator, Pro Point brand
without the key the generator isn’t any good to us and would need to be returned BUT I don’t give up easily at anything….
I then called and spoke to customer service at the toll free Princess phone number, the telephone operator I Spoke with directed me back to the Panet store to speak with team leader Cheryl who was working at the time and Cheryl I spoke to over the phone sent me back to the hydraulics department. Bill in hydraulics took my contact information down (William as his name tag says) he was very helpful EVEN coming to find me in the store after our conversation to give me a key to try. What a great guy ….
Unfortunately, the key did not work
As I was running out of options, as a hail mary I called the Portage Ave store, there I spoke to Hailey over the phone and explained my situation she took my contact information down and promptly called me back like she said About an hour later after she spoke with Michael in hydraulics
She told me they might have a key that worked and for me to go the Portage Ave store to get it as it would be waiting for me
So I drove down to the Portage Avenue store to get the key and low and behold The key started my generator, it fit perfectly!
Point is: Hailey did not need to help me out as I had almost exhausted all possibilities, but she made the effort and moved my problem forward by reaching out to her coworker Michael
Please thank These two team members at your Portage Avenue store for me because of them I am having a far better day
Our generator is now running perfectly well, and I am waiting for the next Winnipeg storm to put it to use.

Incredible customer service. The manager Halle clearly know how to ensure a store with TOP NOTCH customer service.
Gavyn and Nafis brought me right into the isle to help me find what I was looking for.
Ian then kindly asked me if I needed any assistance and even brought me a basket as I had one too many things to carry.
The Cashier Yana was very kind as she scanned everything.
My husband sent me to pick up some things for him and I was so amazed by the customer service. I now know why he loves Princess Auto so much.

A little difficult to find things, but staff are helpful. Great deals in the surplus area. At the checkout they have mystery boxes valued above the purchase price. I had to buy one. Haven't opened it yet. Bought a staple gun kit for cheap cheap.

It never fails, I go to the store to see if they have a certain item and not only do they have it. I find something else to buy. Great store, and the selection of tools and supplies is fantastic. This is not the place to go to just browse, I always buy something. Lol. Best place for DIY'ers and anyone who may be a tool guy.

If your return clerk were / had any kind of personality other than computer drone like efficiency. You would get a better score.

It was a delight. I dig the surplus isle. I buy things I didn't know I needed. All hail Princess Auto!
