Pyramid Cabaret

Location: right in the DT. Close to everything, yet, nothing. Easy to find. Iconic sign, visible from a good distance.

Parking: plenty of street and nearby park aid parking. It's the DT, expect to pay.

Facility: excellent for what it's used for. Bar and live entertainment.

Staff: was well staffed with proficient people for the event I attended. No complaints.

2 real knocks:
-everything is cash. From admission to bar drinks. And an irritating ATM in the corner with 50 ppl at it.

- late opening. Come on, don't advertise a time and tell people who arrive at that time that they need to wait outside for 45 minutes.

The experience is more of who you are with or go to watch. Great band the night we went. Cool decor, old place, no blender (so no margarita for me) I had a good time with my friends the place seemed pretty empty so its kind of like a private party

I just seen the New Meanies there and it was excellent. Great sound man and excellent acoustics.

Love the Pyramid! Great sound. Friendly staff. Unfortunately my bartender served me a beer with about 3 inches of head. Not what you want when paying $10/beer.

Aesthetically, I would give this place 5 stars. They also are host to some really good music and events but drink prices are high so be prepared

There cleaning it up and moving things around a bit. Speaker move provided a way better sound now!

Spectacular venue. Hit an underground opera event and enjoyed it. Wished the bar accepted credit though: (. Only negative.

I've always loved seeing performances here and they keep making improvements to the space.

Awesome times& venue, enjoyed the bands, only negitive.bars in general getting drink pricey, & a suggestion to have a bit more seating would be great. Not sure if they do for other events, coulda been set like that for this one? Overall great place for live music!

It's an okay venue, parking is annoying since it's downtown and the place could be a tad cleaner.

I'm going to give it a 4 because even though drink prices are absolutely ridiculous the staff was great!
Seriously though I got two shots of vodka a coke and a water.it was $20.75 which is NOT okay at all especially considering anywhere else that might have been $12 (the cups are tiny as could be too)
I recommend fixing up the bathrooms as well cause my standards are low but the toilets shouldn't tip when I sit on them.
Good vibes from the staff and cool decor is the only reason I recommend this place at all.

I wish there were more options at the bar. Diet drinks for those with diabetes, cocktails would be nice.

Awesome venue but was very cold all night. Even dancing was still cold. Drink prices are exorbitant as well. 2 vodka sodas for $18.25? Thankfully I rarely drink

No coat check. My coat was stolen while I was on the dance floor. I had to go home cold, but someone else got to go home extra warm.

This place is really run down. Bathrooms are disgusting. The bar has all plastic cups. Drinks are way too expensive. I don't recommend, I'm never going back. I can't afford to lose any more coats.

Awesome venue, saw many shows there including the mighty Ramskull recently. Check out the video.
Only downside was no performer wifi due to technical issues. Still gets a 5 from me.

We went to a heavy metal show, with 4 bands. It was great. Good atmosphere. Good music. Great people. They needed a better soundman though. The only reason I say that, is I was a soundman for years, and I analyze sound quality, for each instrument. Otherwise, it was a great night.
