One of my worst experience dealing with a company. They deceived you to sign up for their protection plan and take money from my account every month but when you have any issues related to your protection they simply don't show up.

The company’s customer service is horrible, the wait times are always long and they send you from department to department and no one is willing to answer your questions, just keep asking you the same questions back. I was originally told that I would have filters for life but when I called to inquire they told me they do not do that and they never have so their salesman lied to me. Unfortunately I did not get that in writing so I got screwed on the deal. I was told that I get annual service for my a/c and furnace for free as long as I rent the a/c but when the service man came to clean the units he told me he will no longer service the furnace as it was a waste of his time. I have rented the a/c for a few years now and will be buying it out because I have moved and I will never go through reliance again for any services. I would seriously spend more money elsewhere before I go back to them.

Reliance Superior installed new furnace in my house. I got a great deal. Everything was done as promised and super fast. Several cars came at the same time and guys were doing everything at the same time. Replaced old furnace vents. Sealed old holes. Installation was quick and clean. All garbage was removed and area was cleaned after job was done. Technicians were professionals. I would definitely recommend Reliance to my friends. Great service. A+.

Always have a great experience and staff are always friendly and very polite.

Edit: we had them come out again to service the system we had put in and had a great experience. They came the same day we called and the tech was fantastic.

Sales person was friendly and very informative. Service was on time, efficient and we were very happy with the job which was done within 6 hours for both furnace and AC. And it was next day installation. Electrician helped me set up my nest thermostat. 10 out of 10.

The repairman, Josh, was very nice and informative. He was quick and efficient. He also fixed something that we didn’t have installed properly!
He was our second appointment. The first person actually called in sick on us the night before and we had no water for 24 hours until Josh came.

Had my new furnace installed by Reliance Superior and faulty under 3months. Though fixed now but I don't expect such from a new furnace and I find it difficult to communicate with someone in Reliance (new homes). I believe Reliance can do better.

Our furnace was replaced in a good time frame. All workers were polite, friendly and knowledgeable. Numerous difficulties were encountered and dealt with efficiently. We were informed of the difficulties and how they would proceed with the repairs. I was impressed with their ability to detect and solve all problems encountered. It is great to have both and furnace and hot water heater working well and up to code.

I called asking to book an appointment for a diagnostic and was immediately asked if I want to upgrade to some protection plan for $14.99. Very unprofessional and felt like they cared more about making a quick buck then the stress of waking up to a furnace that won't turn on.

We have used Superior Reliance as our service and maintenance provider for both the furnace and the A/C unit for the past 14 years and have been satisfied with their annual maintenance work. The last 2 years we have been fortunate enough to have Rick service both appliance and were really impressed with the young man's professionalism, knowledge and manners.

Our new air conditioner is working beautifully. Installation and service was quick and service people were knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. We would recommend Reliance Superior to friends and family.

Just had regular maintenance done on our air conditioner and are very satisfied with the work done. The serviceman was very friendly, polite, knowledgeable and competent.

Service technician replaced a Wi-Fi thermostat with a newer more complicated unit which required technical savy to connect to the furnace mother board correctly, reprogrammed the dip switches for the 2 speed variable furnace. Showed me how to operate the new unit to my satisfaction.

I had my AC installed and the system that was installed has been struggling and not able to cool my home. My top level with the bedrooms has been too hot to sleep. I have contacted the business many times, they have sent two reps to look at the equipment with no follow up nor any plan to remedy the problem. I haven't head back from anyone any my messages have not been replied to. Will update as this proceeds.

I purchased rental AC, furnace, hot water tank and water purifier. As agreed upon the at the start Of sales pitch after the rental contract there is no buy out of the equipment. However, 4 months after the installation of my equipments I already encounter same problem twice with my AC. Newly installed but same problem encountered last 3months. AC not Colling well. The 3rd service man from reliance able to solve the problem. I've been calling the agent who sold me the equipment s but I didn't receive any reply from him. Likewise, the serviceman provided me free filters which was supposed to be provided to us upon installation. Now I am trying to clarify with my agent when he told me no buyout on rental equipments after 7 yrs.i would d say shop first to other companies which present clear deals

UPDATE: The sales rep sure had the best explanation, he also had the best promises. Promises that sadly were not honoured. Buyer beware. The techs were great. The person they had answering calls insisted we pay for service even though it's part of our package. After reaching out to someone else within Reliance, the issue was resolved. Have to change the star rating from 5 to 3.

You don't need to talk to anyone else. We met with 3 different providers, and Neil Zielke from Reliance had the best explanation. Said they (a supervisor) fixed our AC but did not. Blew our motherboard to the furnace because of they're negligence. Got another appointment to fix on Monday morning Showed up after hours to our morning appointment to not have the motherboard on hand. Wholesale was closed being after hours. Nothing got done. We are on the maintenance and repair plan but will prob have to pocket this.

Had a ductless Mini split installed in my home, everything went great. Sales person was professional and answered any questions no had, but was not pushy. Installers showed up on time and completed the work in the agreed upon time and cleaned up when they were done. I was very pleased.

Our installers Phil, Braiden and their team were on time, professional, and did a clean install. They were also mindful of safety protocols and followed them while in our home. Purchased air conditioner in 2020. A selling point was the free maintenance program. Was told there was a free of charge spring tune up. That someone would call to make an appointment with me. Never heard from them. I called and was told that I had to call and make arrangements, not the company. That is not what I was told. Very disappointed.

I highly recommend getting other quotes. My AC was old and now I wish I had a second quote as many have reported these guys saying it is unrepairable when it is to make a sale. Iboight the ACand was mis-informed that it was not a rent to own but just rent over 7 years. I would have paid over 6k and still not owned it. Also when I bought it out it cost me almost 6k when the unit itself goes for 2k on amazon.

I also was renting my water heater because I moved into a house with the plan. When my water heater went they convinced me to get this one with a fan. It is insanemy moud and shakes my floor upstairs when it goes off. The workers are nice. The company is crooked. Don’t support this. They are making services impossible to afford.

I called reliance to come look at my AC unit as I thought I might need a new one because it wasn't cooling my house the guys name who came to look was jigar Vaidya he looked at my furnace for about 10 seconds didn't check the air filter or anything else and told me I need a brand new AC and furnace and he'd do it for 8 grand after he left I changed out my filter and my AC works like new the guy tried to get me to spend 8 grand on a new AC and furnace which both worked perfectly fine very scummy business ethics would definitely recommend going with a different company or getting a second opinion before you buy with reliance

Brayden and Chris came within 24 hours of calling to replace a hot water tank that blew on a Saturday morning. They were there Sunday by 1 PM with a brand new hotwater tank. Not only didn't they replace the tank but they converted from natural gas to electric and where in and out within a hour and a half. Both Chris and Brayden were very professional, informative and easy to talk to. Would strongly recommend them and Reliance to anyone.

Ok, just changing my review:
Once you have your AC installed, forget about contacting them to retrieve any information you might have. As well, forget about the referral bonus they promise you.
First - After you have the AC installed, you have to contact City of Winnipeg for a inspection. They require some information that you probably won't have in that time. So you call the company and nobody can help you. They just transfer your call one to another. Also, between the calls, you will have to wait A LOT!

Second - Right after the installation, I referred a friend of mine to Reliance Superior. She got the AC installed and all, but where is my $100 bucks they promised me for referrals? It's all BS.

Just go with another company. I'm already regretting have chosen this guys.

I would not recommend this company! If we could get out of this contract we would. There has been nothing but problems after problems with this company. We call tell them our problem and seems to be a different problem every time. Definitely not happy with the service nor quality. I've even emailed and called them and no reply! Save yourself the hassle and go with someone else!

Prompt, efficient and workers very courteous.explained everything they did. The only thing is I don’t have a written invoice. What they did and replaced and the length of the warranty with the things I have to do to keep the warranty valid.

I don’t think I can sum up in this review how awful of an experience we are having with Reliance Superior at this current point in time. My husband has been fighting tooth and nail with them for the last 24 hours and essentially the last few months just to get our rented a/c operating. We have been tossed around the call centre upwards of 30 times. We have spoken to supervisors who cannot help us. We have reached out to our sales men there has been no luck. We just simply cannot get our issues or concerns taken seriously. We have techs showing up without the proper equipment or tools. We have techs opening vents and closing vents. Refilling of refrigerant with no leak detections. We have been given times where a tech will show and to have no one come at all. We were told today between 8am and 1 and still there is no one there at 7pm and now we are closed. The list is just endless and literally no one wants to help us. We have reliance in 4 properties and never have we seen this level of service. We cannot see how we can continue to pay money to this company that is clearly not concerned with the way their customers are treated. They are a quantity over quality company and don’t care about you. Just your money. Please save your stress and anxiety for something worth it. Our a/c was working g fine before we upgraded and now we are literally here stuck with a system we can’t use and are paying for.

My name is Douglas and I have health and mobility issues. I am currently housebound in a home with a broken air conditioning system going on the 2nd year. The temperature is expected to hit the mid 30 degrees on the weekend. I purchased this unit from Reliance Home Comfort around 4 years ago. It only functioned properly for the first year.

Reliance Home Comfort has been repeatedly failing to get this unit functioning properly. They do not seem to have the expertise or the knowledge required to repair the unit they sold me. They make appointments and don’t show up. They have lied to me on numerous occasions.

I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and learned that there have been 540 complaints filed against them over the last three years. Only 199 have been resolved so far. I was without air conditioning for 7 of the hottest weeks last year and now it starts all over for this year.

Reliance Home Comfort is a company to avoid at all costs.

I got a second opinion on my mothers "blown compressor". Turns out she only needed a 60$ component to fix the air conditioner. I don't know how this "technician" that came to my mothers house can sleep at night.

Stay clear of this company my firnace had a 10 year warranty on it and they would not honour the warranty then i went on ther home protection plan and had a repair man come out and tell me that he would not cover repair bc i had a dirty filter and a dirty ac basically blaming me for the break down. They will promise u the world to get u on there protection plan then will try everthing to not honour it terrible company will never deal with them again

Very friendly, left the house as clean as they found it, answered all my questions.computer system for confirming the job initially was brutally slow, your workers were fast, but you need to change that computer system of yours, or hire a clerical worker to input the info at an office. Your guy who goes around doing the estimates and setting up appointments could see twice as many people if he didn't have to spend an hour trying to use that archaic system.your electrician Braiden was great, as were the 3 other guys you sent, cant remember their names, super helpful, i will recommend you to friends.
