Chris from RiverBend movers was very through and efficient. He came to our home to give us an estimate on our packing and moving. He was courteous and very easy to communicate with and we had no problem in getting in touch with him following our quote. The quote was very reasonable.
The packers/movers did an excellent job; they were fast, efficient, kind and courteous. They took great care with our possessions and it was a pleasure to have them assist us with our packing/moving. Also they were very fast, they packed up a 2400 sq ft house in less then two full days!
We would not hesitate to recommend Riverbend movers.

Poor company to deal with. Would not recommend them to anyone. They added hours and billed extra to what they actually worked. They add drive time before they even show up to the start location and it’s all to their discretion. When trying to deal with their dispatch / booking team about it, the one guy would not discuss any of my concerns unless I paid the bill first. Which would have led to the extra charges.

Only positive note was the actual movers, they did an excellent job handling the items and did not break anything.

I’d never take my time to leave a review of a company but their service was so atrocious I want to save someone else the frustration I went through.

All around great experience! Reasonably priced, friendly team, and the move was done very efficiently. Highly recommend!

Used Riverbend to move apartments and was very pleased with the entire experience from booking with Nick to the actual day of the move. The movers were on time, fast, and friendly. The actual total came in lower than what was initially estimated. Would definitely recommend them and they'll be my first call for any moves in the future.

Everybody I dealt with in the office was top notch and the 2 guys that came were very professional and careful.

It was easy to deal with Nick. The movers did a great job and asked questions when necessary. I highly recommend them if you don’t want to do the move yourself. It saved us so much time so we can focus on other things during our move.

Worst experience EVER. We had 2 young guys.every time they went into the truck after carrying the bare minimum they would chat and text. They were smoking while they worked so our house smelt like smoke. I called the company to complain mid move and I guess I talked to the owner.he didn’t even know what to say he was just mumbling words. He then told me that someone he had sent had a small injury…
Who sends an injured person to move someone who is paying by the hour!?
We were told they would add a third person to unload at the other house (that did not happen). We were also told they would take money off the bill… they took of 60$!
Don’t hire this company!
I would give zero stars if I could.

What a horrible experience.
Was supposed to be moved by this company for Towers realty but Wayne was so outright rude on the phone and unclear on the 11 exchanged emails.
Never ever would I recommend.

We have had them out twice this year and they were great both times. I was really impressed with Candice!

I booked a long distance move with Sean. Sean has horrendous communication with his clients. I was never contacted/notified when delivery dates were changed, where and when my things were and the fact that my stuff was still in Winnipeg when I had been in Nanaimo for a month. The delivery driver had told me about the delay of my couch when he finished unloading then first portion that actually made it (Feb 2), over a month after pickup (Dec 28). The couch arrived 8 days (Feb 13) after the guaranteed delivery date (Feb 4), that I was informed of on January 18th. During the month of January I had to make multiple attempts just to reach Sean, only to be gaslit by him and pushed to call others, such as dispatch at great Canadian van lines and the driver themself, to find out about where my stuff was. Sean never informed me, when I first booked, that they only had one truck coming from the east coast and they would be taking more than a month to deliver my things, I found this out when I called dispatch on January 24th. Had I known this information, I would've taken a U-Haul but of course the information wasn't given just so he could make the sale. Based off what I've read from other low reviews, they will attempt to turn the blame back on the customer rather than being accountable for their actions. If you're looking for a moving service that basically ghosts you once they have your things in their possession and gaslight you, Riverbend are your guys!

I contacted Riverbend for a move i had this past weekend. They were fantastic! They were on time, courteous, efficient, and took care

The professionals are back in business … this time driving a truck with no hands, playing loud music and dancing and smoking ganja in traffic! There you go! I wonder how can this so call company can be still in business? Something must be corrupt in this town!

Worst company ever worked with. They did not provide me service and charged my credit card. Do not understand customer requirements at all. Very bad experience. I wish I never made booking with them. When call them they just want to charge you transfer line to front desk. They do not say anything later on start making excuses.

I will never use this company again. Specifically dealing with Wayne is worst. Receptionist say we will refund money than Wayne says no. After that start transferring call between both of them. End of the day I did not received service nor did I got my $300 back.

Never ever use them. They are the worst one.

Had people deliver a bed an the first thing they said upon getting to the door was “I’m assuming you don’t own a broom or shovel…” as I had missed a small section on the walk, one of them did not have a mask on and they left dirty finger prints on our light walls up our stairs. One guy forgot his gloves so I called out and came back and snatched them and didn’t say thank you. Not professional service.

I hired Riverbend for my move and it was terrible. They damaged my walls, a table, and a piece of furniture. I have emailed the company the photos with no reply. They tried to overcharge me by an hour and the movers were the slowest I have every experienced (and I have moved lots!) Would not recommend.

This was the third time I've used Riverbend, hopefully I won't be moving again for a long time but if I do I'll be giving them a call. We had some of our things stored with them and they also made a second pickup and then delivered everything to our new house. Vince and Bryon were very friendly, helpful and worked quickly.

They provided great service for our move. Canaan and Dillon were fast, friendly and professional. They made our move easy.

We will be using them again whenever we move again.

Company manager told me that they would contact me the day the exact time of the move the day before, so I could notify the group home my sister's stuff would be moved from. That did not happen. I was notified by text (still sleeping) 8 am the day of, while the move was taking place. However the movers themselves were very nice.

Riverbend has helped me with 2 moves within Winnipeg. They were prompt, professional, and careful with our belongings. Their service was efficient and they easily arranged to pick up from both my storage locker and home. They also carefully wrapped our antique furniture. They provided packing materials including boxes for our TVs and wrapping for the mattress. The rate was reasonable and I am happy with the service.

They have moved me twice (one out of town move), they helped disassemble and reassemble a few items (sofa, cribs). On time, reasonable rates, was done in the time frame they said it would be done. Getting a quote provided an accurate estimate. If I ever move again, I'll be using them again!

We originally booked for a simple house to house move which had to be changed at the very last minute to a house to storage move. When it was time to move to the new house, Shaun and his team did a lot of last minute coordinating to get our stuff to us. The actual moving staff were professional, efficient, hard working, fun, and clean. I was 8 months pregnant and we moved in the middle of a pandemic- and all I can say is that Riverbend Moving & Storage made it SO easy! Would absolutely recommend to anyone moving or needing storage in Winnipeg.
