Stopped in here because we were in the area. We were very impressed with the overall experience. Food came out fast, hot and delicious. Our server was incredibly kind, attentive and helpful. I hope to be back sometime soon.

Very slow, tables that sat down before us already ate and left, by the time we got our food. Went for breakfast by the time we got our seats and food it was 1: 30pm. Would not recommend and will tell my friends about this awful service.

A gem in St. James. I highly recommend to come in for breakfast. Food is delicious, well cooked. Love the crunchiness of the potatoes and portion of the food. I love that I have the whole pot of coffee lol. The service is great, friendly staffs. We will come again to try their lunch/dinner menu.

Place is better then all the other corporate garbage out there in st James but still doesn’t compare to a real breakfast with real quality food.

Food was ok. We had a need for some privacy and requested that upon arrival and they accommodated nicely. Told server we would need some privacy for business purposes once drinks were ordered and she was FANTASTIC about that. Did not rush us did a couple fly by's to make she we were good until we indicated we were ready to order. Atmosphere was meh at best on no fault of the restaurant, but walking to the facilities and back I was stared at by the geriatric community as if I was an elephant in the room as I wasn't about 3 minutes from dying.

We had a window seat for a late breakfast, unfortunately it was very cold there, it got freezing cold in the neck and in the back, so the table and the bench were also very cold.the service was great, very friendly and helpful with changing the seat.she was also very friendly and competent after our request what our dog who was waiting in the car and needed some food for a sedation tablet because I had forgotten to take something from home for him to provide him with some food he got 4 strips of chicken breast.unfortunately I don't know the name of witness.otherwise the breakfast was very good. I had a potato pancake filled with scrambled egg, ham, Paprika, cheese and sour cream on top.my husband had the 3 eggs swiss omelette without the Swiss cheese.the coffee came in a thermos flack, which we found very good, so we could refill our coffee over and over again, but the coffee was bit too thin for our taste, but otherwise everything was fine.we will say thanks a lot for this very good service at RnRFamily Restaurants and this great service, who will definitely remember us because of our dog, we know that she also has a fur nose at home, she has a cat.

Service was good, coffee was weak tasting and the strawberry rubarb french toast was soggy. My husband had the big breakfast which he enjoyed.

What can I say? It’s worth the five stars or even more than the general five. Great food, exceptional & friendly staff. Worth every penny.

Pierre is a great superviser! He took are order and is very funny! RnR has a great Atmospere and Service! I did not excpet to get a quiz!

Went to RnR Family Restaurant for lunch today the service was excellent. Our server's name was Cory she was wonderful! The food was fantasitc! Will be recommending this restaurant to family and friends!

Even though they were short staffed service was very quick and the staff never appeared to be rattled. They took the time for a quick chat.

The food is very good. I ordered the Breakfast Scramble it is was plenty for me.

I’m a big fan of the meals at R&R. Good to have healthier options which are still tasty and filling. Lots of locally sourced ingredients, my favourite is the pickerel. Staff is always very friendly and do a great job!

Used to be Perkins but the new ownership has definitely kept up with the quality and service expected from the former chain. I had a 3 egg omelette (farmers) and it was excellent. The bottomless coffee is Ethiopian from a coffee producer in Niverville, very rich and unique flavour. Service was decent, no wait time for seating and the servers are friendly and fast. Definitely will be back again.

First time going there and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Great staff as well. Have a rewards program as well. Will be back!

The only thing I miss about Perkins is the pies they used to have, but otherwise this place is probably my favourite go to for breakfast. Breakfast Special right now is under $10 with tax and everyone is so friendly here. Jessi (Not sure on the spelling) and the other servers are incredible and I've never had an issue here yet since it became R&R. Keep up the great job guys!

Love this place. Food is everything you want in a locally sourced restaurant. Lot's of respect to the owner's for sticking to local. Staff are always courteous and always have a smile. Nicole is my wife's and I favorite waitress. Keep up the good work!

Ps. Bring back the old school taco bowl salad that use to be on the menu when you guys were the other place. Even just as a seasonal thing if you it's applicable.

The food is ALWAYS wonderful and hot. You can just tell it's fresh, compared to Perkins. The prices are also very reasonable. I wish we could dine out more because it's our favorite place to go! Nicole is also wonderful, with just and explosive personality. Best chicken fingers in the city, honestly.

I really enjoyed the food and our waitress Hailey was great. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for good food and good service. Overall great place!

Recently enjoyed breakfast here. Service was very friendly. We were served immediately. Our orders arrived quick and hot. We all enjoyed our meals and the portion sizes are great.
However the interior hasn’t noticeably changed since it was a restaurant under a different name. The carpet looks dated and worn especially near the kitchen.
The parking lot was crowded due to snow that hasn’t been cleared.

Food was well prepared and hot! The service was excellent very attentive staff. Quiet surroundings even though the restaurant was fairly busy. A broad and extensive menu. Highly recommended.

A little frustrated as we have a restaurant that supposedly closes at 8pm during weekdays and yet the kitchen is all set to close at approximately 7: 40. One would assume that the kitchen would shut down at the same time the restaurant closes. You would think the staff would be appreciative of customers who wants to give them business as the establishment was not busy when we walked in. We almost had to negotiate to eat there and the four people who walked in behind us left as they felt their business wasn't going to be appreciated. Although our stay felt rushed, the food was delicious.just wish our server was a little more attentive, instead of making us feel like we were intruding on her and her wanting to get her closing duties completed so she can rush home. RnR maybe need to adjust the staff schedules to accommodate potential customers that do arrive just before the posted closing time.

We had a 2 eggs breakfast. I liked the fact that they give you a choice for your sides beyond bacon or sausage! Also side choice of french toast, pancake, fruits, etc. Service was great & it's a pretty large restaurant, so we didn't have to wait in the lineup!

I love this particular location more than the others. The food comes out of the kitchen looking cooked properly.

WOW. Ordered off Skip because I am sick and the food was delicious! I used to hesitate with trying this place because I thought it would be like Perkins but it is WAY better! My food (classic eggs benedict) was presented well (even in takeout containers), was hot, delicious, and even came with a little fruit salad. They wrote on my containers to confirm the requests I made. The people that work in this place are attentive. Will be visiting in person at some point now that I know how good the food is. I recommend this place:) Keep up the good work lovely RnR staff!
Only suggestion: would love a gluten free toast option!

Service was great. Breakfast specials were also great and the food was very good. Lots of parking.

It was delightful. Highly recommended.

Quite an improvement from when it was Perkins esp with the departure of one tall Ginger waiter that was causing a massive Exodus of clients and staff.
