Robin's Donuts

A friend and I go out for the Robins Classic breakfast here once in awhile.
The staff treatment of us customers widely effects the quality of food.
So far I have found only two staff who work here that actually listen to what is ordered and make the food tasty. Most just act as bored or that they are annoyed with us customers for coming through the doors.
Yesterday we were all set to leave as the counter person said at 9am that we couldn't order the breakfast as he couldn't make it and the person who could was leaving.
Suddenly the cook-person returned as we were almost at the door and cooked our cold semi-cooked, pale yellow eggs, toast that was so cold even the butter didn't melt and hard bacon breakfast. Counter person didn't get the coffee and donut order correct, even after being reminded three times what it is.
Is this a breakfast you'd want?

I miss Robins donuts more and more every day. I wish we had more around in this city instead of them all being around downtown Winnipeg.

My company and I were in town for some sales meetings and needed an alternative to overpriced hotel food. That is where Robbins came to save the day. Not only was the breakfast excellent and the doughnuts delicious, but they were willing to help me bring it to our meeting area. They understood our request and came in clutch when we needed to provide last-minute lunch. All of this with a smile and reasonable prices.

I order from you on occasion and your always out of something. Today you missed almost my whole order! I ordered 7 items and only received 2. Why? Why is it so hard to read a screen and then make it? I will not be ordering from you again. No wonder why all your restaurants are closing down.

I didn't exactly feel welcomed to stay, it was a little chilly in the seating area and I don't mean temperature

Horrible customer service, drinks were cold, and the seating area was dirty.

Would never return.

Decent Classic breakfast for $5.99. Includes two eggs, toast, hash browns and either three strips of bacon or three sausages. It also includes a small coffe. Nicely renovated last year.

Love Robin's for their delicious quality donuts. We always get prompt service here, fresh donuts.

I would give 5 stars simply for the poor employee working ALL ALONE.management needs to hire more staff or go in and roll up their sleeves. Working a lunch rush completely alone is unacceptable and taking full advantage of your workers. Employee looked absolutely exhausted running back and forth from the til to various spots in the back counter area.

Again 5* for employee -10 for poor management

Tried their iced capp and sausage roll. Good customer service and the iced capp is the best I’ve had.

Been a fan of Robin's for years. Better donuts than Tim's, better coffee than Starbuck's. The donuts are big, but if low-calorie are you're window to weight loss you have an entirely different problem. Highly recommended

Had morning breakfast here. No complaints about the place other than to point out the rudeness and dismissive attitude of the male cashier working there on Sunday morning.

Hope I could visit here again to have a bite but definitely won't anytime soon.

I love the coffee. I was wondering where I could buy or order the coffee or kcups of coffee. I live where there isn't one around at all.

Service was okay the only thing that bugged me was you don't have any certain desserts that they used to have before like apple fritters danishes reason reason to English to my favourite foods otherwise it's okay

Every baked item that I’ve had, this being the scone, the nenimo, the carrot cake and a muffin have all tasted like freezer. Nothing is baked fresh. The only thing that I’ll give it a second star is their customer service and how clean the store is. Also the soup is either scorching hot or thick and hardly warm. Terrible.

First off, don't listen to Mike, the Coffee is amazing " if you prefer a stronger roast" if not Tim's is close and the local coffee isn't bad as well, the Donuts are superior for the area and especially for chain coffee shops, I prefer a McDonald's coffee cause I'm soft like that but Robins is always great and also a great value

Really good donuts, especially the Walnut Crunch! Too bad they don't make them during COVID, due to limited menu.

The regular staff is a hard working team. It's a pleasant coffee shop when the management is not present. The manager is lucky to have such a team.

The place has been there forever and I'm glad, still one of the best cups of coffee out there.

This was one of the worst experiences at a doughnut shop I can remember. I doubt the parking lot I walked through had ever been shoveled. When I came in there was no one anywhere to be found. The one staff member was mopping the floor and was not impressed to have to serve me once she saw me. She was not interested in any customer service. Conversation on my part was met with a grumble. I got the feeling I was not wanted there. The doughnuts tasted very old. I did buy them on my walk home from work, but c'mon, Tim Horton's has figured out how to provide decently fresh tasting doughnuts throughout the day. I won't be returning to this Robbins anytime soon.

St. Boniface hospital doesn't have friendly staff working at the main R. D.there. Out of some of the menu items, and for a combo meal I only got a donut, the sandwich, and coffee. I thought I was able to get the hashbrown too.it was written wrong on my receipt, and the staff member had another type of coffee on the receipt I didn't even order. Otherwise.the food was very good.the sandwich better than Tim's actually.

The cold coffee is ok but there aren't any milk alternatives sold here which is a real shame.
The drink are also very very sweet

A really decent place to have breakfast! Their new menu is delicious! I've tried the new Bagels sandwiches and also the traditional BLT! Fresh and delicious! The staff is always in a good mood so it's a great experience! Fairly prices!

New bagel sandwiches are delicious, but the hours at this location are weird. Who closes at 7pm?

A pretty good walk away from my place so it is good for exercise and stopping off for a coffee or tea on the way home.

Robin's is not quite what it used to be though. They have gotten rid of most of the good donuts and food there and it all tastes rather low quality now. Same with the coffee. A walnut crunch donut and a large black coffee used to be my go to breakfast on some days but they removed the donut from the menu altogether and the coffee tastes very cheap and watery. As I understood it that donut was being removed from quite a few Robins' menu but this was the last location that had them and even they stopped selling them. I was pretty disappointed.
