Robinson Lighting Centre

We recently built a new home and our home builder uses Robinson as their lighting supplier. Communication was mediocre from the beginning with slow response times that dragged out the process. The only positive thing about the experience was that our sales person did seem knowledgeable about the lights and provided some decent recommendations. Three days prior to possession, we were told that the pendant lights we ordered for our kitchen 7 months earlier were back ordered. I still don't know why our sales person Heather waited until days before we were moving into our home to share that information. So we pivoted and ordered new pendent lights with a lead time of 3-5 weeks. We are now at 10 weeks and can't seem to get a response. Our home builder has reached out several times this month and she isn't even responding to them. My hope from writing this review is that someone will at least call us or send us an email with an update. The poor level of customer service is appalling. The only reason I am leave a 2 star review is that I am happy with the lights we do have. They deserve a zero for communication.

Sales person was helpful and pleasant. Unfortunately after I decided what I wanted I had a long wait at their single cashier at the front as they tried to sort out someone’s purchase ahead of me.

Meika was an exceptional sales person. They helped me find just what I was looking for which was a floor lamp and ceiling lighting. Meika helped me sort through options, and made it completely painless for me when I wanted to cancel an order as I chose something different after some thought. Their response time (emails) was lightening fast, and their reponses were well thought out, helpful and kind. I highly recommend!

I met with an absolutely wonderful young lady. Kristine.a new hire who not only took the time to help me with a problem of finding an adapter for an old antique trilight that would accept the new led bulbs but did so with a pleasant enthusiasm rarely being seen these days.thank you Kristine.

Excellent customer service. We purchased some very nice vanity lights from them for our washroom renovation, which look superb. We had a very minor issue months later with one of the lights, and they were very quick to correct the problem right away which made us very happy customers. There is ample parking available and the show room is clean and well stocked. I highly recommend going here over any big box store to get your lights.

Great service and selection. Donna was very knowledgeable and was a tremendous help in choosing our fixtures and creating a layout plan for our pot lights.

I ordered two beautiful brass/glass pendant lights online. Unfortunately when I took the one pendant out of it's packaging its glass piece was cracked. I emailed customer service about the problem with a picture and they immediately sent me a new glass at no charge. I appreciate their quick response and how my problem was so easily resolved. And the pendants look great in my newly renovated kitchen!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Easy to talk with and share some puns with which got a little chortle. A very good visit and experience.

Great service. I was blown away by the service we have experienced here. We had bought two lights in Oct. 2019 and didn't have them installed until a year later due to a covid delay. Turns out one of the light shades was broken inside the box. We brought the shade back and they happily replaced the light. Customer service is often so simple, yet so many companies fail to provide it. Thanks for brightening our day.

FANTASTIC customer service and lighting selection! I had the opportunity to work with Junia on a smaller lighting project. She understood the style I was trying to attain and made awesome suggestions.

The communication and entire process was very organized and enjoyable.

My first time at Robinson, I gave 2 's. I was not given the customer service experience that I had hoped for. The management team immediately addressed the poor review and were very professional when dealing with the complaint.
Today, I returned to give the business another try and was greeted by a very knowledgeable/professional salesperson, Rachel. She made the whole experience very pleasant and very comfortable during uncertain times.

Overall has a good selection of standard and custom lighting options. Prices can be a touch high, but that seems to be an industry standard.

Donna is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. They have access to many different product lines, and are located in a central spot. The service and warranty after the fact is why we stay.

We needed some help finding some replacement Parts. Donna Welz was relentless in pursuit of a solution for us. Some of the best customer service I have ever experienced.

When I can't find specialty bulbs anywhere else, I like Robinson's. Phone first to make sure they have them in stock. It's a bit of a trek to get there for me but the parking is great. (If you found this review helpful, click the like button)
