Went for a few bags of play sand. Without prompting two of their workers came over and helped shovel and load the bags. Best price I found for bulk as well.

Lots of great Christmas trees to choose from. Helpful and friendly staff made everything go smoothly and easy.

Lots of cool holiday and non-holiday season stuff to browse through in the store as well.

After walking around (inside and outside), and having looked at hundreds of trees on display, we chose our favorite. The gentleman took it from there, bundled it up, gave it a fresh cut at the base, and helped us load it in our vehicle. Thanks!

Ron Paul's always goes above and beyond to ensure we're well treated. Just got our Christmas tree from them again this year.

I've never been here but I've driven by this place numerous times. We do notice their dump truck operators are polite and funny. I'd recommend this place to anyone who needs their materials.

Do not support! The owner hung up on my face cause i asked why they can’t back into my driveway and dump instead of dumping on a main road. His names ray. Super rude service

Edit: I was never rude to the girl on the phone, she said we can’t back up on driveway. I asked for a manager and you come on the phone saying “what’s the issue get to the point, they never usually call me to answer calls unless it’s a big issue”

Unfriendly staff over the phone. Not polite. When I thanked them, they mumbled ok and hung up. Didn't bother to say you're welcome. Sunday 12: 53 PM June 19,2022

I would like to share a negative and disappointing experience at Ron Paul Garden Centre this weekend. It was my first and LAST time shopping there.

We wanted to purchase a few stepping stones for our yard project. The yang fellow that was helping us was just that, young and distracted, and had a plastic stick in his mouth constantly chewing on it and bringing it in an out of his mouth while helping us. He rang through the wrong stone which we noticed as we went to load it. When we pointed it out, he said they don't have the stone we chose. We wanted to make this work and before proceeding any further I specifically asked him if we can return the stone if the colour doesn't fit our design. He SAID YES, no problem. Great! Let's give it a try.

Unfortunately the stone didn't work out and my husband went to return it the next day. He got charged a 10% restocking fee. When he questioned it, after it was processed, he was told that was their policy. He tried to explain the situation, the charge remained and he got home. I phone them, as I thought it was unfair, and asked to speak with a manager.

THIS IS WHERE THE REAL DISAPPOINTMENT BEGAN. I started by explaining my story and not even mentioning anything about reversal of the 10% stocking fee. Let's say here, that we completely understand the need for restocking fee and it wasn't the restocking fee that was the issue but how it was handled from the management.

The entire time on the phone, the manager was turning it back to me and how I was in the wrong and it was my fault for picking up the wrong stone. She completely disregarded what I had shared with her about her employee, selling us the wrong stone and telling us no problem we can return the stone, without even mentioning the restocking fee. Had we known there was a restocking fee, we would have asked for a refund right away, without even bothering to bring the stone back. She did offer a refund of the fee followed by "although I'm sure the amount is not much", remark. That's right, the amount wasn't much, but it wasn't about the money, it was about the principle.

The manager also made sure to remind me that in the future purchases, we should remember that there is a restocking fee applied. Not really sure why there was a need of that reminder. I was already well aware of that at that point.

There will be NO future purchases at Ron Paul Garden Centre. I will not support a business who is treating their customers in such a way and not taking responsibility for their employees.

Picked up some sod which they had on hand which is not the norm I found out everywhere. Hildebrand sod at that, some of the best available in our area.

The firm could fix their parking lot entrance. I drive on City of Winnipeg pot hole streets. Guess it's the same for business parking lots. Oh well.

Good prices compared to other garden centers. A bit disorganized compared to lacoste but they got most of what you need for a cheaper price.service is good, very helpful. Great prices on yards of gravel/soil in city.

Last fall we purchased a Japanese lilac tree here. This spring no life, sadly the winter got the better of it. Checked with Ron Paul and they agreed it was likely dead and needed to return tree and would be replaced under warranty. Unfortunately didn't have the same size tree. Bru was very helpful in choosing tree of different kind but same size, and type that would suit size of our yard. Very helpful and good experience thanks Bru. Gave 4 star's, only because didn't have same size of original tree.

Friendly and helpful staff and great products. Very easy to order landscaping products online.

I went into ron paul garden centre the other day to purchase a few pavingstone bricks, and when i approached the cashier to pay i was kind of shocked by the disrepect i was given, the younger lady that was workin the cash register wad very rude.you would think that they would be more then happy to have people come in and support thisplace of buisness after such along winter and covid.its too bad that service just isny ehat it used to be.why cant people just be nice anymore

The plants were beautiful. Found a beautiful mother day plant. My place to go as a contractor.

This garden centre is probably the best I’ve been to. The place is way bigger than I expected, they have a huge selection and a range of prices. They have cheaper plants and even some that are quite expensive, but all are beautiful. There’s something here for everyone. They sell all kinds of gardening/outdoor supplies too. The plant pot I got (see photos) was $1.49, there are many sizes.

Ron Paul is one of the better value garden centre's in and around Winnipeg. The staff is helpful and they have decent variety.

Unfortunately, I have to review my disappointment this year. In the past, I have spent hundreds of dollars purchasing spring bedding plants, perennials, and soil. This will be my last year at this establishment due to a few things. Last year, with the onset of the Pandemic I submitted an substantial order online April 24th to ensure I received the items I wanted and picked them up May 19. - My order was over $460. This year, I did the same - ordered on April 16th but was told they would not hold the product and had to pick it up by April 19th. When I picked up - I noticed how small the items were - rather than a bedding plant - one variety was truely a seedly - just having been transplanted into the trays. Ultimately, with the weather turning cold - there was a constant in and out to avoid the frost and the little seedlings simply could not survive a non-greenhouse environment. I made a request for replacement. My biggest issue was the way I was treated. After the support I gave to shopping at this business - when I received a call this morning warning me if I did not come to pick up the replacements, they would be put out for sale to others. I promptly went to the store to be scolded by the person (Jan) that annuals are not something that their policy replaces. It was delivered in a manner that was in front of other staff and customers which was uncalled for and in my opinion greatly dissatisfied me to the point of in future doing business elsewhere.

Fantastic and SAFE place to shop. Besides the plants and products being exactly what I needed, the customer service is top notch. The Owner truly cares about the Community and their customers. They are consistently enforcing public health orders (single household shoppers, masks, social distancing, etc.) despite the public trying to skirt the rules. We applaud Ron Paul for doing their part during this crazy time of Covid restrictions. They are and will continue to be our to-go nursery for any and all plant and yard needs. Shop safe and take care!

To the customer that alleges that Ron Paul discriminates against people with disabilities, you should be ashamed of yourself for spewing such blatant lies. What kind of person does that? ! You’re just looking for somewhere to direct your hate and anger. You were asked to leave for refusing to follow Covid restrictions. If you can’t follow Covid restrictions, stay home!

Openly discriminates against people with medical mask exemptions. Does not follow current health orders, and I quote (directly from engageMB) :

"'I have been told that I must present personal health documentation from my doctor to enter a business, proving I have an exemption. This is is direct violation of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, and a violation of FIPPA (Freedom of Information and Personal Privacy Act). As well, the public health order only states they must remind people to wear a mask. They are not to police it. "

Answer: People who are unable to wear a mask for medical reasons are not required to provide a doctor’s note as evidence.

And as such, you cannot deny entry to a business open to the public. By not accepting an exemption at face value, you are openly discriminating against them. Personal health information is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS.

I will never give this company my business. I hope anyone reading this also reconsiders.

Awesome garden center! The service is always fantastic. I applaud the staff, managers and owners for doing there best to help protect our community during these difficult times.

The staff here is great - Adam is very knowledgeable and helped me figure out exactly what to plant in my flower beds, now they look amazing thanks to his advice! Will be going back here for any shrubs/trees I need!

Went in for a couple of things and spent over $300. Our sales assistant was Rylynn. Very friendly (and pretty) and tho we had a lot of questions, if she didn't know the answer she went and got it from someone. Because of her pleasing attitude we purchased a lot more than we came in for. Customer service is A+. Thank you

I purchase from Ron Paul Garden Center on a yearly basis from plants to stones and landscaping. Their prices are very competitive and the quality is always good.

I had a recent inconvenience which was mostly a misunderstanding of the product from my side and the person I spoke with when ordered. I brought this issue to them, the owner personally resolved the issue and I loved how he handled the situation. I’m quite impressed, great attitude and understanding. I would keep buying from these guys again.

I was order week ago and wasn't get delivery after making couple calls. Other person from same street order and get delivered within hours and they are not going by frist come first serve base.

Fantastic service at the most affordable price I could find in Winnipeg. Had soil and rock delivered right when/where I wanted. I was very surprised that delivery was offered same day; a lot quicker than I thought for that kind of service. I will be doing business with them for years to come. Hope to check out the store some day too.

Wow absolutely great service! Called to inquire about sand and dirt and they had it delivered within half an hour at an affordable cost. Amazing!

Really nice garden centre with just about everything you could need for gardening at affordable prices and close to home. Went during covid and noticed the safety precautions taken were very good and well enforced. Most staff were friendly.

Went for a xmas tree and was really surprised with the selection. The showroom was well equipped and designed. Had great choices in decorations. Prices are very reasonable. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Ron Paul is a great place to get Christmas trees in Winter and other plants in Summer. The staff is great and their variety of garden decor is as well.
