Rondex Auto Body Supplies

They had a mixing error with the touch up paint I purchased, which was to say the least, frustrating (having prepped the car to apply it then having to spend more hours trying to get it off eventually), but the reason I am still leaving a fair review is because of the excellent customer service by Tyler. Came down to the shop and he was professional about my concern. His efforts in trying to mix up a better match paint was greatly appreciated.
Although it is inconvenient for me timewise and also saddening to see my car now with added damaged (clear coat and marks from removal of paint), I would still recommend Rondex and would highly consider doing business with them in the future. I do wish I did not have to go through this hassle - as now my car has added flaws instead of working on improving it.

I went to this place to buy some painting supplies. One of the reps (Travis) offered me a painting service for the front bumper of my car. I paid him $1,000 for supplies and labor. And the result shocked me. It’s not even close to the car’s colour, and after I complained about the work he did, he refused to provide me with a refund.
I am very upset that the employees of this place offering services that they should not provide and taking advantage of gullible customers.

I brought some auto body supplies from Rondex, Travis was very helpful and showing me what to do with my repaires, it really helps me to get the job done. Just wonderful place to shop and learn.

Not coming from a quality perspective as I heard they are good and can provide custom match by word of mouth.

I gave a standard paint code through their online system to inquire availability of the auto paint in that code/formula.

Their response was advising me to drive to the store to get a match with my car or bring along a paint chip of the color I want. Went there, no checking paint chip or the car, just asked me the color code I gave in the first place to know that the tint has been out.

Travis was amazing to deal with! He was able to multiple task and deal with multiple customers at a time while providing exceptional customer service and was very knowledgeable. He has a great personality for providing excellent customer service. It’s obvious Travis takes great pride in his work. Rondex should be proud and fortunate to have Travis apart of their team!

Awesome place. Super knowledgeable and willing to answer your questions. Everyone in the industry knows this is the place for paint and autobody supplies. And if you don't know now ya know.

Custom paint for automotive applications. Their color matching is better than off the shelf paint found in big box stores.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff is another advantage to shop here.

I spoke to someone earlier in the day about getting some color match paint for my car. They said they could match it and that they close at 5pm. So i drove from La Broquire MB to Isabel St in Winnipeg MB witch is well over an hrs drive and $50 in gas there and back. I arrived at approximately 4: 20 PM, 40 mins before they close. When I went to the counter I was told sorry they can't mix my paint because the paint mix is closed. So i said " are you guys not open until 5pm? "
They replied "yes we are but are mixing Booth is not"

Is the mixing Booth a different company apart from the Rondex Store or is it part of Rondex and operates Under the same owners, management, hrs?

MAYBE IN THE FUTURE YOU SHOULD ADVERTISE DIFFERENT HRS FOR THE TWO DEPARTMENTS AND LET PPL OVER THE PHONE BE AWARE OF SUCH THINGS, BEFORE WAISTING TIME AND MONEY THEY DON'T HAVE DRIVING THERE.

If you close at 5pm that means you close at 5pm not be prepared to leave at 5 but be able to serve your customers until 5pm.

Travis is a wealth of knowledge and assistance! It's always awesome dealing with him. Even if they don't have the product I need they're always helpful and provide all the assistance and recommendations possible. And it keeps me coming back. As a girl with lots of classic cars, I've dealt with so many crooks and condescending jerks that I honestly don't think I'd still be able to enjoy and maintain my toys anymore without being lucky enough to find honest helpful shops and guys like Travis. Thanks for being consistently awesome guys! It really means a lot and is too rare these days.

I walked in, and gave the sales rep my paint code. He then came with me outside to my vehicle with paint chips so that we could compare the colours and get the one that matched my vehicle closest! While the paint was being made, he wrote out step-by-step instructions for exactly how I should apply the paint! I got everything I needed at the same place, quickly and efficiently! I had a very positive experience, and will be going there again for all of my autobody paint needs! As a young female, I did not feel talked down to or mansplained to at all! Excellent customer service!

Sent my friend from Winnipeg in to pick up one can of paint. They over complicated the paint match process. He had all required information but they told him he needed a 4 digit paint code when a 2005 ford requires only 2 digit and sent him away twice without paint. When I drove an hour in to get it myself they told me he was never there with guilty looks on their faces. He did come early first thing in the mornings n said the staff was all just hanging around drinking coffee. I guess they had no interest in helping but then to lie to me and say he was never there was additionally irritating.

Don’t ask the younger larger guy with the beard for advice. He’ll just give you advice to sell you a product that you don’t need and rip you off. I own a body shop so I come here often. I see this guy totally ripping people off every time especially new comers and people who don’t know too much about body work and truly need help. Selling unnecessary products just to make money. Shame shame shame. Also very rude and has an attitude. Bad for business and the rondex name.

Amazing service! My car's rear bumper had some unsightly scratches. I went in to get advice on touch up paint. One of the guys (Travis) came out to look at my vehicle and pointed out that the damage was mostly confined to the clear coat. He then proceeded to rub it out with a polishing compound, right there on the spot and free of charge! I wouldn't of known to do this so I was very grateful for his honesty. He not only saved me from buying products I didn't need, but also from hours of work and headache!

First trip to Rondex last week, lots of stock found everything I needed plus some good advice. I will be back, lots of good info on the website too!

I went in not really knowing how to solve my problem and Ray took the time to provide an education and solution on the products I needed - great level of service and professional knowledge -

I came across some old paint and supplies that were left over from a project. This was all purchased at Rondex a few years back.
Those times the staff were always super helpful and answered all my questions, today proved to be no exception.
I called to ask about how to dispose of the old paint and spoke with Travis, he was helpful and said I could bring down the old paint and supplies and they would take care of it for me to dispose of it safely.
This is above and beyond and something that's greatly appreciated.

Rondex is the best place to shop for business or the backyard body man the DIY people all the guys are so very helpful from paint to whatever your needs maybe, they'll even help you save a few bucks on products and the service they provide goes above an beyond than any other supply shop in Winnipeg. I would give them a zero rating, but I can’t, I went to buy paint there and their are two most unprofessional working there in the evening. They talked to me very very rudely and they are not polite at all, I have been their a lot of times and they are always speaking to me rudely, I would not recommend going there, or buying any of their products, because they don’t know how to respect their customers, very bad staff

Very irresponsible for what they sell to customers. I went there to buy the car paint. One of the most unprofessional guys provided the mixed car paint and literally stated that I can pour it directly into the spray gun. I did it, without knowing that the paint should also be mixed with a reducer! It cost me time and money, and destroyed the spray gun. They should know when they sell the car paint, they should also provide all the complementary stuff with it. It was very disappointing dealing with this store Rondex in Isabel St, Winnipeg. Also so rude and disrespectful seller, specifically the guy I was dealing with, unfortunately. I would not give even that one star if I could.

It’s an okay shop but always make sure they give the right stuff. Check it before leaving. First time buying at their shop and they mixed me the wrong paint. Their mistake cost me 100$. Had to order and pay again. And I’m not the only one this happened to so be mindful

Look, if you're looking to do some DIY body work on your car, Rondex should be an automatic consideration. Guys here know their stuff and are a great source of knowledge. Be aware, even with the colour code of your vehicle, there could be multiple slight variants, Rondex has the sample chips you'll need to compare, just be sure to either have your car with you, or a part of it, like saybyhe gas cap.

I know nothing of autobody work but wanted to paint a car bumper for my aging Grand Am. I went in to Rondex at the risk of looking like a complete moron, as I was sure most of their clientele are probably professionals to some degree.

I explained my area of knowledge (zero) to one of the staff there and they helped me gather all the things I needed, as well as going so far as coming out to my car to figure out what colour of paint I needed. The gentleman also explained to me how to use the products I was purchasing.

No snootiness or holier than thou attitude here and I'm super thankful for that because I was a little nervous going in. Now I can try to help my poor Grand Am age more gracefully. Thanks dude at the counter.

Went into the store for the first time the other day and I will definitely return! The staff working at the time of my visit were all awesome! They all seemed eager to help and provide tips/advice. The store itself seemed to carry a lot of different products and was well kept.a nice atmosphere overall. I was left with an above and beyond experience! Keep up the good job!
