Safeway Kildare (Transcona)

Really happy with the new renovations. Their selection has also improved for low carb options.

Clean store. Friendly staff. All precautions are in place. A great place to shop.

Nice little safeway. Line ups are a bit long. New for 2023, produce is questionable at best. Two days in a row now, two different items both moldy and rotten. Definitely suggest getting produce elsewhere. The rest of store is good.

Had a wide selection of gluten free bread for the restricted diet in my family.

Friendly, Great service but I feel that things are upping in price a lot, not just from inflation. Some of the items don’t make sense price-wise, having individual items that are cheaper than packages of threes. Otherwise I greatly admire the flower store in there and the cheap deals that they have at times as well!

This store is well situated for area consumers. Good selections of produce, meat sales and dry goods. This store has been there for 50 years and features a hot service bar for those who don't feel like cooking after work. Pharmacy on site too. Very modern interior. If you believe in supporting a local grocer, then this is an excellent place to do just that.

What can you say about Kildare Safeway. It only exists because of geographical convenience for the people of deep suburban transcona. If you want good prices go further down the Regent strip. It does have a good deli. But like not as good as Sobey's.
