The Tim Hortons closed permanently now. It was popular by customers shopping.

Tills are not staffed to customer needs. All to often 10+ people are lined up at the one open til. And self check out is busy. Pay attention to scheduling Safeway.

Closed doors at the East end of store early is absurd. The far West end is the only open door til closing. Those disabled and those carrying heavy loads of groceries are having difficulties.

Open the East doors til store close. (Yes you renovated backwards and tills are located at the wrong end. Move them from one end to the other.

Try and be customer centric not leave it to a bureaucrat number cruncher with little in store experience. Just a suggestion.

Yet the day after just having truth and reconciliation day I’m being racial profiled by a white customer in the store and none of the staff members say anything too her. She is pointing the figure at me getting in my face for no reason.

One til open during busy part of the day. Another business trying to force to use there self check outs. Very annoying

This has got to be the most comfortable grocery store on the planet. The place is well organized Lots of elbow room Clean Quiet & well Comfortable. I give this Safeway & Staff the BEST Grocery Store EVER!

I booked 1 pack of flower pastels 2 days in advance but I told the floorest that will come and pick up after 2 days after 6.30 pm. He said go to the customer service once you come to the store. Upon my arrival at the store I went did the same. But no one was at customer service and other cashiers were busy in serving customer. One staff member jammed Simer Jeet was passing by me. She saw me standing there. So she acknowledge me very nicely with smile and ask me how can she help me. I explain her. She said let me check. She went to the floral department and grab my pack of pastels. And she served me there. She was very good in her service. She knows her duties and responsibilities. She was very friendly. I would say very good service. Keep it up Simer Jeet. Good luck to you.

I wasn't going to actually go in and then I thought about a Danish and that was that I had to get in there to get 4 of them. I ended up grabbing really good cinnamon buns. The staff there was friendly as well so it was nice

I like this store, great location and helpful staff. I'd like to see the women working there wearing bikinis and high heels, like beauty pageant contestants do, that would be tasteful and appropriate.

Very clean store, produce fresh, good customer service. This store has a lot of vegan products other Safeways don't stock.

Very nice neighborhood Safeway. Clean, well organized, helpful staff. Open 7 days from 7am to 11pm which is very handy. You can tell this location takes pride in what they do.

Store is a decent size and I have been going here since I moved into the area. Be careful in the parking lot at night and make sure that you lock your car doors. A bit pricier compared to Superstore, but I rarely have time to drive out there. Produce is good and meat section has nice cuts. Cashiers are quick and the store is spotless.

Shopping here is one of my all time perks of Osborne culture. The employees are friendly and helpful, kind and considerate, even during an evacuation by the police for our safety. None are judgemental of my appearance or being a criminal, but interested in what's going on in my life.

One brother pushing carts (he didn't want help) mentioned wearing black uniforms gets hot outdoors in the sunlight and white would just get dirty, I am processing they ought to wear grey.

I also believe the self-checkouts should draw up a search history attached to our airmiles cards for ease of browsing. That said, I really prefer how friendly and sociable the cashiers are versus a giant calculator machine.

Good Safeway and open late

There was a gentleman employed by Safeway, standing outside the store, stopping customers for small talk and lowering his mask as he did. Some of these people were elderly. I do not see how this is OK. That is how people get sick.

This is our favorite Donuts and usually like medium ground burger meat from here. They have a nice ice cream selection too.

It‘s been quite some time since I have been in Safeway. It was very bright and clean, as well as inviting. There were employees putting things on shelves, and also there to help customers with their needs. Quick efficient check out, with a friendly customer service staff. Young man packing the groceries was very friendly and polite. Overall a great experience.

Poor customer service, most staff and managers don't care, minimal effort and assistance for the customer. Its only saving grace is that it is conveniently located.

Went to this safeway as a kid growing up, I've seen it change so many times but it's still my favourite safeway to go to in the city.

Nice, polite staff, found what I needed quick & easy. I lost my granny cart. I found it later by the door. I thanked the young lady by the door for keeping it for me.

Good place to shop, reasonably big and usually stocked with everything. I've never really had a problem with produce, other than constantly selling out of lettuce.

The staff are awesome, especially the guy who always talks about his novel writings - super interesting guy and a hard worker.

The homeless around the area have been asking for change and getting aggressive to the point where my young brother felt unsafe.: (

Wish they didn't shut down the eastern entrance door, permanently closed, now we gotta walk allll the way to the west door. Inconvenient.doesn't make sense.

While the customers were doing their panic shopping, the staff were still smiling and courteous. The shelves were well stocked.

I live between this safeway and the one on Osborne and Kylemore. And Kylemore is closer but love going to this Safeway because of their instore bakery. Fresh stuff everyday! Their uncut hotdogs and hamburger buns are the best in the city! They even have a tim hortons and a sitting area inside. The parking lot has security walking around, that's comforting. It's in a great area too. Super safe. It's called osborne village and it's just a bunch of harmless freaks who are in the area. Free spirited people is more a appropriate way to say it.

Self checkout machine errored out 5 times on a transaction of 10 items. Multiple issues with not sensing when I bagged an item which required assistance. I placed my purse down to readjust my grocery bag and it did not register once I removed my purse and required assistance to clear the error. Started typing to search for an item and it automatically starts the search after three letters are entered, but I type fast so I clicked the 4th letter and it registered as clicking the wrong search result. Required assistance to clear again. Overall took an excessive amount of time since I needed the attendant to clear multiple errors. I use self checkout frequently elsewhere and this one was a hot mess of issues.

Attendant was pleasant and helped with the issues but was the only one available and other shoppers were having issues as well.

And with all these issues I forgot to enter the "save $3" coupon on the discount ground beef I had purchased

A lot of panhandlers harrassing customers as they walk into the store. There was one right where the carts are stored, asking for money.

Its a safeway. Prices in some things are good, others are not. I don't like that it was taken over by sobeys. I liked the generic safeway brand better than "compliments" brand. Oh well. A good store with decent humans employed there. Haven't run into any absolute knobs yet.

Pretty good, only complaint is some things will be on a bit of the un ripe side but safeway has always been a very trusting store and definitely worth shopping there

I love this store. High quality products and acceptable prices. Huge variety of foods and baverages. One of my favorite.

Always friendly but a little slow due to self checkout and limited in person checkouts available.

Told them about produces gone missing and not being refilled on shelves. Like chicken baloney slices. They assured me and were very helpful.

The store has some recent upgrades- unfortunately still have to deal with the panhandlers on way in and out. Some more aggressive than others.

Safeway of course is more expensive, and the fact that it's the only grocery store in the village is a real pain. That being said my four out of five stars all goes to the employees at this Safeway. Helpful, courteous and an amazing bunch of people. They make my dreaded stops for groceries so much better.

Great store, with high quality products. I like it despite the high prices. Other stores have better prices, though.

Visited the Tim Hortons in Safeway. The manager who served me was very professional, quick and got the order perfect. Big shout out to Sandra.

I like this place. There's a bit of a social hub in front of the Tim's where usually older folks meet for coffee. Deli and bakery are usually well stocked and the selection changes often.

The renovations inside are a long awaited upgrade to an aging store. Excellent bulk food aisle now as well as a new cosmetics and organic products aisles.

This store is currently under renovations and I like what I see so far. The staff are hard working, friendly and in my opinion could use more support ie more staff. I believe this store serves one of the densest populated areas in the city and in my opinion should have enough staff to fulfill all the varied needs of the people it serves.

Parking lot is too small, out of stock of my preferred brand of bacon, no red peppers. I aborted my shopping at Safeway and went to co-op groceries at Grant Park and got what I needed.

Since they renovated the store. I have changed my rating up to 4 stars now. The renovations have made shopping at this location a way better experience
