Safeway Selkirk

Very clean and friendly. Perhaps they could stock a less expensive brand of non-gluten bread.

Good selection of products, competitive on price and fresh fruits and vegetables. Also has a good selection of seafood.for Selkirk.

They desperately need to do something about the deli. Everything is dried out and or looks like it's turning. No offense but if your employees have scabs and rashes all over the arms, maybe make them wear long-sleeved shirts or change there job descriptions so they don't have to work directly with open foods? Just a thought.

Very upset that Selkirk Safeway Bakery has stopped making their own delicious donuts and instead are bringing in donuts from somewhere else cause any chocolate dip just melts off them before they even leave the store, so much for fresh baked. This is managements decision and not the fault of the bakery staff.

Tyson saying it was a mouse running around clearly does not know what a chipmunk looks like. I love Safeway, friendly staff, and good vibes. Also they are chipmunk friendly.

My visit to your store would have been much more enjoyable had it not been for the many empty shelves and also the 3 to 4 of your staff members using gloves and boxes chasing after a mouse and not being shy about advertising what they were doing.

Early morning stand in line at 15 items or less cashier while people are doing their weekly shopping.open up another till Safeway.getting tired of this. 15 items does not mean a shopping cart full.well things have not improved at this store. 1 cashier open, employees walking around and huge lineup at cashier.im done with safeway.lots of other choices out there.

Great food and staff. Easy to navigate the store. Decent pricing and has mostly everything you need for one trip. Bike stand in the front if you need or big parking lot. Tons of tills.

Was waiting in a line of 10 people because they only had 1 till open, and an employee walked up to they’re friend waiting in line behind me then offered to help them at the flower counter, instead of just opening up a till and helping any of the other people waiting in line too. I tried to talk to the manager but he would not make eye contact or talk to me.
This store needs new management and more employees, there is never more than 1 till open but when I’m shopping I see 5 employees walking around doing nothing. Please do your job, it shouldn’t take me half an hour to grab one item and employee’s shouldn’t be picking they’re friends out of line to help them.

Just the other day one of their employees, I'm guessing had just got off shift as they were still in full uniform, had almost started a fistfight with me because I had stepped past them while they had an armful of merchandise (looking just like an employee doing their job). Complete jerk. Never going here again

First time in Safeway in 20+ years. Lots of selection and even a good size section of Gluten Free stuff.

Harassment of costumer s, getting angry with me because I didn't have my receipt from no frills, if you want to be treated like a criminal and followed around by every worker and be racially profile go to safe way, they were overly worried about what was under my stroller I don't think I ever wanna go back to Safeway definitely overly priced as well not worth the hassle and honestly would probably punch out a worker if I'm treated like this again

Always clean, always well stocked and typically has staff jump onto extra tills when lines back up, never have had to wait more than 5min, compared to the city this place is a ghost town and I'll gladly wait 5min instead of half an hour.

Mostly good produce or products. Doesnt have enough lanes open in my opinion.but it's understandable.

Excellent store, fresh produce and wide range of products generally. Just wish they had more check outs open. Those poor lone checkout ladies are being way over stressed.

They have a nice store with lots of products and there meat, deli and bakery are the best in Selkirk. Ever since the increased competition in Selkirk their prices have come down a little.
