Really like this restaurant, like the owner，he is strict but very nice heart, hope it very become more and more popular

Very average experience at Saffrons

The entree that was ordered did not taste like what it was supposed to taste like

And the hours of operation.they closed earlier than stated

I used to like this place a lot more than I do now. I can't quite put my finger on it. I think they reduced the portion sizes at some point, because the last time I went I remember feeling like I was way satisfied with the meal than the previous time. Also, the quality of the pasta dishes seems to have gone down over the years. Which is a shame, because they used to be one of the best.

The place is simple. The service is good and the food good. I went for lunch, but I think it's more suitable as a late-night bar.

A good place to eat, not phenomenal. I will say the yam fries were actually phenomenal, the absolute best part of the meal.
We had the seared tuna to start and it was good, not phenomenal. All our entrés were good but I doubt we'd call any of them out of the ordinary.
The service was excellent, it was a slow Saturday and we got all the attention.
Nice atmosphere, although it looks a little tired. It's been around a long time so I suppose it's earned the right to look a little worn.

Exceptional pasta, I tried the penne bomb and the fettuccine alfredo. Pizza was a tad bit dry but they do not skimp on the toppings at all. Only surprise is no free refills on machine drinks.

Owner accused us of walking out on our bill, called my girlfriend names, and locked us inside while threatening to call cops for a bill we already paid

Gyros was store bought one. Fries overfried, mushy and too salty. Salad was also so salty it was impossible to eat it. And mojito full of sugar with no taste of mint or lime or alcohol in it.
Service was average, like everywhere in the city
Too bad, I used to like this place.

I ordered pasta, it was ok, tiramisu cake was awful (bought in a store, i don't know why serve it if is not homemade as it said).
Cocktail was ok.
The restaurant needs good reno.

Sorry for this one. Stopped in for a birthday dinner for a friend from out of town. With a fullish patio we decided sit inside, but there is no way that would have be an excuse for the service. Being the only people inside and having dinner with drinks and appetizers, we had really hoped to get the service the bill would have entailed with 5 guests. Drinks came randomly, refills just didn't happen, appetizers came out with the entries and unfortunately all the things you don't want out of a meal. "Over cooked", "lukewarm at best", "pretty sure that was the cheapest NY strip but that didn't matter because the guy wouldn't know how to cook it" and "how was the best part the chicken fingers? "
I hope you review this with your staff because this is the services industry and your guests deserve better for what they are paying for. This coming from a chef for 6 years and a server for 2 years. Step it up.

We went for dinner in the patio.

I ordered a salad that was a third rotten lettuce. The server noticed it pushed to the side & said nothing, walked away before i could say anything. She came to the table that once in total to ask how things were, after that didn’t return to even ask us if we would like drink refills.

The food wasn’t worth the cost.

Nadia made sure we got a table on the patio and was working hard to make sure everything was running smoothly. Filling in where needed.

Our server was inexperienced and made several rookie mistakes.like awkwardly waiting for us to order while we were in the middle of a conversation. And then waiting for us to pay immediately after bringing us the bill (we weren't even done our food and drinks yet).

Otherwise, I loved the patio and they have some nice food and drink selections.

Stopped for lunch today didn't understand what a pizza with pepperoni was had to explain it over ten minutes. Ask for a peach drink got some kind of Is strawberry drink. Waited twenty minutes to get a refill on pop. There was literally 2 people eating there and we watched 3 other groups get up and leave. They waited twenty minutes to be seen for the first time at their table after seated.
This place has definitely gone down hill!

Did not eat, just had cocktails. Those who had the Margaritas really liked them. Overall good experience.

Great service and food both times I've been there. Nice patio area if the weather is nice

The food was excellent and the venue was being used for a paint nite activity, we had a blast.

I heard their chef is amazing. Too bad I don't eat too much but I ate Ceasar salad in pretty much all the restaurants in Winnipeg, and this one I enjoyed the most The patio season just started. I hope they'll put some effort into adding flowers and nicer setup. For now, it looks like work in progress.

This was a great patio experience, our server Sylvia was amazing. This is definitely a patio I would return to.

Deplorable Restaurant! The place has no proper lighting inside, The tables and chairs are old, sticky, just plain old and dirty. The food is expensive, quite bland and you leave hungry. Drinks were not much better. I had the Chicken Souvlaki,
The fries were burnt and tasted like old oil, The chicken had a very off putting smell. Service is slow. The restaurant had a odd smell, like dirty old gym socks. I do not recommend.

Went for lunch, served by elder lady, repeated three times my order and she brought the wrong order and told me I should speak up.
