Santa Lucia Pizza Portage

I am not sure if they changed managment or if I have just been unlucky but I have not had good experiences with this Santa Lucia location in the past month and despite being loyal customers we will start going elsewhere.

When you call you're greeted like family every time. Lily is amazing, we always steal a few extra seconds to chat. Obviously the pizza is amazing it's been voted best pizza in winnipeg a bunch of times. Love this location, love the food, love the family atmosphere, it's a 10/10.

Absolutely the best pizza in the city! We love everything from the dough to the cheese, just amazing. We always order the Mexican and it is just perfect.

Great as usual but sauce you get with wings is dumped all over them. My fault I guess. Not a fan of Bullseye. Should be on the side is all.

This restaurant makes one of the BEST pizzas! There cheesecake quite delish as well! Very courteous and helpful staff.

Love the pizza! The pasta can be really really good, but the odd time it does taste like a watery bland nothingness. The inconsistency with the dishes make me lean towards a pizza and salad.
Most people are turned off due to the high prices, but when its good, its really, really good.
They tend to fill up the pizzas with toppings quite well and I don't think I've ever had a 'dry' pizza I.e. Lacking sauce. The sauce is the reason I order here! It is fantastic.

I'm sure I've put their kids through college, best pizza, owners, and best Santa lucia for takeout in town!

It had been a few years since I’d been here. It will probably be a few years before I try again. Seems to me that you’re not getting much for the money. One of the three pizzas with light sauce. Woman taking the order clearly said one light sauce, two regular. They were all light sauce, which pointed up that the meat combination just wasn’t that good.

Always the place I go for pizza! It's one of Winnipeg's great traditions. So much better than those lousy pizza chains out there. Fantastic ingredients, great quality, and very generous toppings.

We ordered for the first time from this location and I have to say, I was very impressed. We ordered the deluxe combo for two which includes a 10" pizza, 1lb wings, mozzarella bread, and a side salad. The pizza was cheesy and rich in flavor, the wings weren't the best but definitely better than Domino's, the cheesy bread was probably the best I've ever had, and the croutons on the salad were very tasty. I left the rest of the salad for lunch tomorrow. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. We ordered for pick up and our food was ready in 20 mins. The price wasn't much more than Domino's, maybe $10 for everything included but the quality was far superior. Great place, I am very glad that we ordered from here and we will be ordering again!

Their pizza is awesome. It's not cheap, but nothing worth it is. They also have a garlic cheese toast that is the best I've ever had.

Very disappointed- paid for extra cheese and did not receive extra cheese on the lasagnas. Will never order from here again!
Used to be one of my favourite places. Not anymore - quality has definitely decreased.

A friend suggested me santa lucia. Tried it first time ever. Its just a thick layer of cheese on pizza base. Most expensive pizza place in winnipeg. Such a waste of $40 on one large pizza. Never getting pizza from santa lucia again.

Great food, never disappointed. The service is excellent and staff is friendly, kind and helpful. Overall, excellent family restaurant and exceptionally good food dining in or take out

Once a year I get a bonus check and treat my family to something special, well tonight was a total disappointment. Both pizzas were very bland like they had no sauce. Meat lovers I had to look for the meat. Very disappointed.
