Santa Lucia Pizza St Mary's

Atmosphere is alright. Usually fairly busy. They have a rooftop patio. The pizza is average, as well as the rest of the food. Service is good and friendly.

Last time we ordered pizza from here it was supposed to half and half. They spread bacon all over it and I dont eat pork. This time the wings were soggy. We had to airfry them. Who eats soggy wings? We don't have time to return the food when we are starving and have waited for delivery.
This food is not cheap. Check your orders before you deliver. Disappointed with this location. There have been other times we were not happy with the pizzas.
I ordered from Transcona location for years and the food was always good.

Absolutely big no to this location. We used to go this location on time to time bases since 2017. Last time when we went to this location we ordered pineapple and jalapeno pizza. Which cook made it very nice spicy and tasty. SERVER was very nice smiley and know about customer service. But this time server was realized us that we were not welcome there any more and cook realized us that they can not mentain consistency. We placed order for pineapple jalaleno pizza and I mentioned twice that we need it spicy. When I mentioned that twice about spicy. SERVER replied me that I noted down in your order so don't worry. And it was sarcastic manner. When pizza came it was absolutely not the one we expected. It was not spicy at all. And also souce was not enough on the pizza as a result it was bit dry. AFTER finishing pizza we were waiting for server to come and ask us that if we need anything else to eat or drink. But insted of that when we called her She came and strsight asked us do we need box? This showed that she want us to get out of the restaurant as soo as possible. I was there with my wife and daughters as it was my wife's birthday. I felt so bad. I requested server that can you please bring carrot caramel chees cake. She bring it. And this was bother surprise for us. Size of the slice was too small. And very much dry. And it was absolutely not what we were expecting. After finishing our dinner we waited about 14 minutes for our bill. Ultimately I got up and try to find out out serve. So that I van ask for our bill. I found her and she said computer is broken and that's why it's taking time in reality she was talking to her male coliegue. HORRIBLE EXPERINCE ABOUT THE SERVICE QUALITY OF FOOD WAS VERY BAD QUANTITY OF DESSERT WAS REDUAED DRASTICALLY AND WAS NOT FRESH ATALL I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE NITHER I WILL VISIT IT AGAIN

They have be best pizza. Also have many Gluten free options. Highly recommend, high quality products and very tasty.

Excellent waitress for our large family party. First time together with my 3 kids and their friends and partners in over 6 years. Our waitress was incredible!

We ordered from Santa Lucia for the first time the other day. The food arrived hot, delicious, and exactly how we ordered it. We ordered the Mozza bread sticks and the Santa Lucia Special. Yummy!

Unfortunate circumstance turned sour by poor management. Blown away by the manager Peter and how he dealt with our table on the patio being swarmed by wasps. As someone with experience in the hospitality industry I couldn’t believe how he condescendingly told us that he “can’t control Mother Nature” when we asked to talk to him about how stressful our dinner had become with the amount of wasps on the beautiful rooftop patio. The poor lady to our right was icing her hand after being stung so we inquired about our options for any wasp traps or moving indoors but instead we were given extra coasters to cover the tops of our glasses? I deeply appreciate being understaffed and recovering from the pandemic but we had to pack up our meals and leave without any compensation. He told us that all customers were warned of the wasps which we definitely were not but changed his story to say that everyone was being told from now on. Any other restaurant would have maybe covered the cost of our cocktails that the wasps were feasting on. We love Santa Lucia and of course still tipped our sympathetic server but Peter needs some management training!

Food was good, but we were unable to eat in at this time, so a little disappointed. However I don't really want to complain as I know a lot of businesses are looking to hire for reopening after being closed to the public for so long.

We couldn’t enjoy our meal because there were so many wasps. Roughly 10 wasps were swarming our table and landing on our food and drinks. We asked for an inside table but they wouldn’t give us a table. The only solution they provided was giving us coasters to protect our drinks but they were still on our food. We had to leave and take our meal to go. One lady at the table next to us got stung.

This is the best pizza in Winnipeg. The meat lovers pizza is amazing. I have been going here since I was a kid. Premium pizza at great prices. I recommend. Salads are really good as well. Please support them!

Older review - Good food, reasonably priced. The rooftop patio was very enjoyable.

The pizza was not the usual outstanding pizza they usually prepare. It was lacking in something. It definitely was not worth what they charge for their pizza. Service was ok, nothing to get excited about. I will not be going back anytime soon as the cost is far to high.

Food was decent, but they've got a lot to work on execution wise.
Ordered from the vegan menu which was awesome to see! Then the app (salad) came out with cheese, and both the entrees - flatbread we ordered came out with cheese and the gyro with tzatziki. Obviously nothing was modified properly. We felt horrible sending the food back but i've been vegan for 20 years and called ahead to make sure they had options for a family members anniversary celebration.
1. By the time the food came out the rest of the party had basically finished eating.
2. No manager spoke to us to apologize and nothing was changed on the bill.
Ive worked in restaurants for over 20 years so i still tipped 18%, i know people live off those and the team didnt deserve to suffer for one persons mistakes.
I was glad to see vegan options on the menu so big points there, but i need to trust that the food will actually come out like that, so i dont think ill be heading back here anytime soon.

Not happy with the food or service. We were completely forgotten and not given drink refills. Had to ask for cutlery to be able to eat the pasta. The one pizza was good but that was about it. Disappointed and will not be going back for dine in.

I came here to pick up the order for doordash and the gave me order after waiting for 45 min and moreover the staff is very rude here and they don’t listen anything

Ordered some pizza and spinach dip from Santa Lucia the other night and was disappointed. We tried the Italian and the Gyro pizza and neither were good. Portion size was good, plenty of toppings, but everything tasted like pure salt from the meat, cheese, to the sauces. I was chugging water all night after we ate. The spinach dip was good, though the portion for it was small.way more chips than dip.

Also they charge a delivery fee but don't allow their drivers to enter your apartment building, you have to meet them at the door. Even though every other restaurant as well as Skip the Dishes allows drivers to buzz up and just leave the food at your suite door.

For the price we paid there are way better pizza places in the city, won't be back.

This location places no value in their customers. They made a mistake on my order and after going back and forth with the manager, he agreed to provide us with a credit on our account. Went to give them another chance and surprise surprise, no credit. Manager says nothing is on file and they refuse to take any ownership. Never ordering from this location again. Total jokers.

Everything was great but the pizza was subpar. Service was amazing, the girl who served me was making drinks, serving, bussing tables and greeting everyone at the same time! However the quality of their pizza has definitely gone down (either due to high volume orders or pandemic)

Ordered pizza from here last evening was very disappointed with the service, we had a fairly expensive order for delivery and when asked how I was paying I let them know it would be cash and a gift card. The lady on the phone said she would make sure the driver had a machine with him, not really sure why all drivers wouldn't have a machine at all times? The driver showed up without a machine so I now had to pay cash for the whole order. I called the restaurant later to the them my experience and they didn't really seem to care.
I definitely will never use this location again

Dear Dashers, avoid this place. There is no respect for you. At the beginning they told me that it would be 5 min delay. I waited outside for 25 min! So I had to call them again. The guy was like “oh, I’ll check again”. 2 min later he went outside with the order with not even a single sorry. At the end I had to apologize on behalf of those ridiculous people. Well, the best pizza place in Winnipeg…

Anyone who leaves anything over a 3 star review here should be ashamed, unless things like canned toppings are your thing and if overpriced BAR style pizzas make your mouth water, no passion for pizza here, just dough, low quality cheese, sauce that I can only imagine came from a supplier and not made in house, I would not be so negative here if the pizzas weren't as expensive as they were, like you could go to Harth, or Red Ember, or Vera, Santa Ana, or Tommy's or even Pizzeria Gusto, all cheaper somehow, and those places are amazing! Sorry Santa Lucia, maybe years ago you may have been good, but nothing stands out now.

Always delicious tasting pizza here and worth the price for the ample toppings. This is what pizza is supposed to be.

Ordered on line, order didn’t go through apparently. Waited outside for 15 min in a lineup to find out order wasn’t processed. Even still there were 20 people on the parking lot waiting for food and the guy said it would be awhile even if the order has been processed. When I ordered it said order ready in 48 min. By the time I checked in it was over an hour. Not impressed and won’t be ordering from you again. Online order system should indicate when it’s busy like that.
