Been a customer for a little more than 5 years, was planning to make this my home branch.
But the service has been really pathetic.
The advisor said they are gonna send me the documents on my date of appointment, I did not receive anything.

Visited the branch after a couple weeks asking for the same. Was told they will call me back sometime in the evening. Never received a call. Stay away from this branch at least, if not the bank.

After banking there for over 20+ years their customer service is in the dumps.
When an employee can stand and gossip about with the manager within earshot about a customer when said customer is standing right there is appalling.
I will be returning to remove all my money

Never use this bank. Any other bank would be better. To be honest storing your money under a bed bug ridden mattress is honestly better. This company in a post covid climate offered zero relief to any clients or customer. They actually breach consumer protection laws and when brought to their attention they practice negligence by saying they will do it again anyways. This company does not care about your rights, Canadian consumer protection laws. They will commit harassments and continue to do so even when you ask them to stop. They simply do not care. Never ever ever do any investments, loans, or store money with this bank.

Avoid this bank at all costs! Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever seen from a bank. I'm not even exaggerating. I have absolutely no idea how this Bank is still in business. Stuff is extremely rude and very unhelpful and literally never ever ever answers the phone ever. So when you physically go down there to talk to them they are nothing but rude and unhelpful. Bank literally anywhere else.

If you're a small business, avoid Scotiabank at all costs. I've switched branches and yet to run into someone who is helpful. I run into issues with every change I have ever tried to make. If you're looking to bank, do it somewhere else! This location looks like they would be able to help people, 8 spots for tellers but you're lucky if there's more than 1 teller working.

Apparently it takes next to one month to receive a replacement credit card despite being told 3-5 business days? There was never any help in trying to get a replacement card from any representatives or customer service. I am aware there are limitations when it comes to postal service but this was absolutely ridiculous. Helpless is the best word I could give!

I walked in this Scotiabank branch for the first time DEC 28 2022 as it was close to where I work, I spoke to

RITA (cashier/teller/accountant)

and all I can say from my experience is was all negative not only that she was rushing to get rid of me and all of my request the only answer I got from her is “I CANNOT DO THAT” I just needed to print statements from my accounts that I have no access. I’d even put zero star if I can.

Meanwhile today DEC 29,2022 I walked in at Scotiabank polo park and was able to get the printed documents In less than 5 mins.

I sure hope someone high enough does read the reviews and get them proper training and better customer service. I even explained to her that I’ve gotten print of from polo park location I just needed a more updated one and all she gives me is i can’t do that for you.

Customer service is terrible, called to ask if a money order cost a fee and the person who took my call didn't even know what a money order is.

Super annoyed that you didn't have holiday hours posted on your doors or properly on the website.
