Worst Scotiabank ever in my life. The lady who worked in the front was extremely unprofessional and unresponsive. She even dared to ask me to go to another bank to do my things done. She was so rude to say that she would charge me for printing the documents even though she kept giving me the fake smile. Never again. This branch should be taking the responsibility to recruit staff unwisely.if i could rate this place a 0 i would

If i could rate this place a 0 i would.i called the customer service line and was disconnected so many times that i just decided to go in to the branch, only to be told that they couldn’t help me and to go home.no other solutions were offered! The manager was incredibly rude and she refused to let me see anyone else for help.when i called back to the customer helpline the following day, i was told again to go back to the branch despite explaining that i had already been there.i have been running around in circles for days trying to get into contact with someone who can help.i left messages for the branch manager and the assistant branch manager about a week ago and i have not heard anything back at all.this bank is worthless! They do not care about their customers.don’t waste your time with these idiots, go to TD.

Applied for a product with Advisor Shubham. This was back in May. He stated it would have to under go an additional review, which is completely understandable. What isn't understandable is after leaving 2 messages requesting an update, there has been no communication as to it's status. It's not professional to at least send an email or call a customer saying either 'we require more info' or 'we cannot approve at this time' especially after so much time has elapsed. This would have been my first product with Scotiabank. Instead I've taken my business elsewhere.

Great location to visit. Andrea was very knowledgeable and super nice. I had dealt with three other financial advisors at other Scotiabank locations before, but Andrea is the best, she knows what she’s doing and tries her best to help you! I would definitely recommend her to my friends!

Nicole was very effective, welcoming and knowledgeable. I had to call and stay on the line with customer service for 30 mins and, I was told that the problem could not be solved. Nicole solved the issue in less than 4 mins.

I don't use that bank. It is on the main floor in Polo park. I pass that bank while I go to the Bay.

Just wanted to give a shout-out to the staff there. Specifically Eden, Aaron, and Semira. They were very polite, efficient, and quick. I had something very important to do and I was short on time. Safe to say that they came through!

Front tellers are slow even if you’re only one in line you still need to wait as they are busy in talking with each other. But giving four stars as the advisors are good.specially sameer Gupta

The slowest and worst service I ever had, lineup for 45 min to replace my debit card and I was told they can not do this service. A good place to waste your time!

Terrible location; very unprofessional and obviously not well informed. I went in to get a new credit card as mine is expired and cannot be renewed through the phone. Once at the branch, the representative told me I needed to call in to get a new one as they don’t issue new cards. The representative was extremely rude about it and rolled her eyes at one point, when I told her I needed to physically be in. Called again, only to be told I NEED to go in physically.

The bank machines never work at the branch. Can't ever withdraw or deposit money using the machines. I've tried contacting the branch via the phone, but that's an impossibility unless you know the branch member - there's no general contact. I've tried emailing several times and got no response. Time to switch banks! This one is useless.

Useless, can’t even take care of basic paperwork even though Scotia Finance department laid it out to them in an email, I’ve been back 3 times and on the phone with the 800 number for over an hour and still no answers.

If I could give less than a one star rating I would. My current mortgage exists with Scotiabank and this branch has been listed as our 'home branch'. The first time we went in to sign paperwork, the woman helping us was not prepared and did not have the correct info on the forms. Days after signing, we received a call that they were incorrect again. It took three tries to get corrected mortgage papers, and the branch manager had to bring them to me for signatures. This was 5 years ago.

Two days ago I received a call from a new mortgage person (she called me asking for my wife btw), and was asked if I was interested in "possibly lowering my interest rate" - however she couldn't confirm if I qualified, nor could she confirm what the new rate would be. She literally called me with ZERO useful information. I asked to speak with the branch manager and was told they'd call me back later that day. They still have not.

While I did express my interest in lowering my rate. I'm not sure if it will happen as the mortgage "specialist" also has not called me back.

Save yourself the trouble. Find a different bank.

UPDATE: It's been one week since my post. Still no phone call from either the mortgage rep or the branch manager.

There open on saturdays which is great, the staff are always helpfull as well. Im very happy to be a scotiabank client/member

I will be switching banks after dealing with this bank for a while now. Definitely the most frustrating thing to deal with is their automated menu when you just want to talk to a human being. Apparently, you cant call this polo park location without being transferred to their "national line". It makes the process so much more frustrating especially when the robot woman doesn't understand what you said or when it hangs up on you for no reason.
To be fair, dealing with the human staff isn't always better.

This bank has the most incompetent employees I have dealt with. We have closed all accounts and moved our mortgage to another bank and we are still having issues! How can you get a bill saying you owe money on an account you closed months ago? I have never been more frustrated dealing with a bank. Frankly the service is shameful. We were customers for 20 yrs.this branch broke us.

This bank has been extremely painful to deal with. To close one simple chequing account I am forced to book an appointment, on a work day and apparently this takes an hour. 12 minutes to book the appointment via phone. One of many reasons why I'm taking my business elsewhere.

Is this really happening? I want to see the new person who knows about my RRSP account. After navigating the telephone maze of advertisments and superfluous automated questions to which I responded "Appointment" I was transferred to the NATIONAL appointment desk with a waiting time of "approximately" 10 minutes. More like 13min, after several automated apologies. In fairness Tanya, at national command post was decent and kind. Got an appointment. But what a 'troop march" that was. Sigh.

They did not gave me good customer service. I was here to cash my draft they told me to go to my home branch to cash draft. I feel like they did not know what draft means. Rude manager I called her even she did not come to see me.

You'll be happy as long as you remember that you exist because of Scotiabank and not the other way around. Made the mistake of switching for a lower interest rate a few years back. They are SO hard to deal with and forced me to take out a Scotiabank Visa. Cant wait leave and give them the solo salute on my way out the door.

The automated phone system you have to navigate through is a minefield nightmare. All I want to do is contact a human being at the Polo Park branch.so far the system has hung up on me 3 times plus if you don't remember the name or the extension of the NEW branch manager so you just want to get someone on the phone to ask, well you can forget that.

Horrible bank overall scotiabank. Once your money are stuck with them they will take a while return it to you. I will suggest go with rbc, cibc or td.
