Scotiabank Theatre Winnipeg

My go to theater. Clean environment with friendly staff. Four stars because the popcorn is almost always stale on Tuesday, but great every other day.

Me and my family consistently enjoys visiting Scotiabank Theatre in Winnipeg. It's our favorite spot in the right location to escape for a few hours and watch a new release. The popcorn is always delicious, and the ice-cold fountain pop adds to the overall enjoyment of our movie experience. Will be back on our next adventure!

Over the years, this threatre has degraded just as quickly as general theatre etiquette has. Just as you can expect people to freely use their phones and openly chat during screen time, you can expect to enter an auditorium that reeks of ammonia and has busted up seats.
Unfortunately, I understand these problems are at the hands of the customer. Yet, nothing is done to circumvent individuals that just treat things as their own personal toilet.
To anyone looking to enjoy cinema; don't. It's a waste of money. Prices are hiked, and quality has flatlined. Not only that, but you will be forced to deal with disturbances within your theatre at the hands of unruly individuals with no respect for those around them. Keep your money for pay per view.

Time to upgrade your seats. Other theaters have dual recliners with partitions. Take out a few rows and charge double. We want to come, but you need to be better than my living room. Enjoyed watching on ScreenX but was forced to make a new friend and hold his hand the whole movie.

Never seen the place not completely spotless. Ticket prices are still great but bring your paper if you're looking for a drink or munchies.

Cineplex violates the Canada Competition Act by using drip pricing when buying online tickets. They tell you the price of your ticket and then add on a $3 online booking fee further down the page.

Staff don't really do the best job. We asked for D-Box tickets but they gave us regular tickets. The seats are alright but some other theatres have much better seats. They do have a great selection of movies, though.

Went for Rose Church Sundays. Love the theater. It's a temp thing for the church but the theater is very nice.

Great selection of movies at this location but it's not fully upgraded to the lazy boy style seating like at the Kildonan place movie theater.

Best place to go for new releases! Chairs are comfortable & pop is always fresh. Been coming here many many times and will continue to do so with my fiancé.

Disaster of a time, twice. First time people talking on phone during film. Reported to staff, nothing done. Tried the place again today, large group of teens throwing drinks, spitting, and being boisterous. Only stayed because they left early. Will not return to this theater.

20 minutes of ads. Projector had to be restarted, was extremely blurry. Uncomfortable seats. I'd rather throw away the rest of our gift card then come back to this terrible theatre.

Very messy. The floors were dirty and the bathrooms are falling apart. And we were there at 11 am

Always good to go watch movies but Not enough staff to serve snacks - line up where long and slow.

I am a big fan of anime movies. So I am kinda forced to come to this movie theatre. Its pretty mid and getting dated for a movie theatre. If Grant park got anime movies id go to them hands down.

Very nice theatre. Screen display/resolution is good. Has few arcade games too just in case you would like to entertain yourself. And it's close to Polo park.movie and shopping.all together. I always find parking spots easily.

I really wish someone would start checking and addressing people using their cell phones and talking during the movie, I went to see a movie and it was a waste of time and money because their were so many people talking and using their phones, couldn’t fully enjoy the movie. This is one reason movie theatres are hurting financially because no one addresses these issues

Just seeing the fast EX in the IMAX sound and picture were really good but the seats are kind of uncomfortable but otherwise it was a good experience

A spacious hall, gaming machines, snacks, ticket machines, there is an entrance for people in wheelchairs. You can come not only to watch a movie, but also just to play.

We have been to scotia bank theater twice and we love their experience. Tickets can be purchased from the vending machines. If you have scene plus card it’s a bonus.as 100 points equals 1 dollar.
The sound system, screens, theatre everything is great. Post movie you can go to Joey or earls both are great places to enjoy food
