The cashier who helped with checkout was not friendly at all. Checkout is the last point of contact for client and if cashier doesn’t provide good customer service I wouldn’t go to that store no matter how good the brand is. Cashier didn’t bother to greet, no smile on face. I will never go to this location.

5 starts because of the absolutely amazing service i received from the store manager, Kayla. I had an issue the previous day there, and she made everything so much better. Literally the best service i’ve had in years, give her a raise, she deserves it! <3

I got "Full Face" makeup done by Homaira. She did a great job on my soft glam! I love that after my appointment I was sent a list of products used on my face and a skin analysis.

Came into the store and not one person asked to help me. I walked around the store and there were staff members on their phones, looked like they were watching movies and didn’t even acknowledge that I was there. They seemed to be walking around or talking to other staff members as if they were bored. I don’t believe they are paid to stand around on their phones and avoid interacting with the customers that come in looking to spend money.

Staff members are those that represent a store and the staff at the st vital location did a very poor job at being the face of that store.

I went in today with my sister and all the associates completely ignored us. No one even acknowledged us when we walked in. I wanted a color match which I then did by myself with assistance from my sister and they all watched us as we went back and forth picking up our foundations and trying them on. One of them, even had the nerve to say excuse me so she could pick up the trash can because we were in the way yet she could see we were in need of help. Shortly after a Caucasian woman walked into the store and she was immediately greater with enthusiasm and assisted right away. When we finished looking for a foundation we walked into the skincare section and one of the associates tailgated us probably to spy on us instead of asking do you need help. Not coming back to this location ever again. Iv worked in retail before and I understand that there are independent customers who really don’t need help but unless they explicitly say so assume a customer needs help when they walk into a store, that should be common sense

Avoid this location if you can. Staff are rude and will ignore you even if you try to make eye contacts to get their attention. They are all busy chit chatting among themselves. None of them seem to want to work. It seems like this is a usual occurrence from this location based on the reviews.
Came in on April 11 in the evening and was completely ignored. When I was finally able to get someone to help, the lady looked annoyed that I bothered her conversation with her coworker. She was too busy chit chatting that she wasn’t paying attention to who she was originally talking to and ended up giving the products I asked for to another customer who came in waaaaay later than me. Very disappointing as the product is also always out of stock. Maybe if she was actually doing her job and stop hanging among themselves then their service would be much better. Staff in this location seems to be the typical stuck up girls who picks and chooses who they want to help.

Some of the staff are rude. Had the worse customer service experience. I understand the store gets busy holidays are coming. It’s not okay to have rude attitude towards customers or to any human. We all our human. We all have feelings. We all have bad days. We all get stressed out.it doesn’t give anyone the right to be rude. Staff need to learn to be more kinder and nicer. Again it’s not all staff some have a positive attitude ️

Jess is the best! She definitely is super knowledgeable, helpful and relentless in the pursuit of the product that will help match your needs! She introduced me to a variety of skincare and cosmetic products & tools that are a total game changer! Thank you Jess & staff for always being so warm, welcoming & a joy to be around! Even during Black Friday! I have visited this location several times and each team member is super friendly, outgoing and eager to help! Definitely my favorite Sephora in all of Canada! Keep up the amazing fabulousness!

Jessica helped me find the perfect foundation spf match. She did an amazing job with me and I was super satisfied with my experience with her.

I wish there was a way for aeroplan card to collect points in the store, management should do something about it.

The policy needs to change at Sephora because they employers are constantly bugging you asking if you need help and more help or what do you want from the store I mean you cannot have two minutes without somebody come to check you out. My last visit I went to buy my sunscreen and I came from work so I was dressing like simple with my hair a little messy of course after 12 hour shift and I have a male employer falling me the entire time inside the store I didn’t purpose I went to some different places inside the store and he keeps following me I did talk with a manager or the supervisor but seems like they don’t take too serious the concerns of the customers which is no good Sephora is not a cheap place everything inside it’s high prices they should be so glad of in these days they still have people inside the store but to be honest I love some products there but I am willing to start looking to other places to buy because it’s ridiculous the way they judge people the way they look at you and the way they follow you and force you to buy Sephora in Europe it’s so different and everyone it’s welcome inside the store even if they don’t want to buy anything plus every Sephora store give samples every day to every customer In Winnipeg no they don’t give anything because their own employers take all the samples home.

She is super rude and judgemental. I asked her for mascara if they have more she came with attitude and said no we don’t have. Oo girl, listen you are working in sephora not a owner of it. Keep your attitude in your pocket.

Its a good store with a big variety of cosmetics, skincare, fragrances and makeup tools. The staff at the St Vital location are very friendly and helpful. It can be quite exspensive so my advice would be to have an idea of what you're going in for and set a budget. Also I suggest signing up for the Beauty Insider rewards program because you can get discounts when you spend a certain amount as well as getting free stuff on your birthday or are able to redeem your points in exchange for free stuff.

The sales people are a bit in your space too much, but they look great so it all balances. They do go out of their way to help you find what you are looking for. They help suit the shades suited best for your face. If you love make-up as I do, you will get swept away in the all of the varities and the allure of the atmosphere.

I came into this location early last week looking for the Amika soulfood nourishing mask as a birthday gift. I was greeted by a young man who, after learning what I was there for, said it was only possible to order online. Needing this gift for the weekend, I was prepared to leave to get something else, but this associate told me that by ordering in store, it was eligible for free expedited shipping, and was guaranteed to arrive on Thursday. After going through the order process with the associate, which required purchasing a gift card in store for the amount of the transaction, I was sent on my way, with another promise that it would be here by Thursday.

Flash forward to Friday evening, and the package had not yet gotten into the provincial sorting facility. I received the package today, two days after the birthday and 4 full days after I was promised it would arrive. To make things worse, upon handing the package to the birthday recipient, I was asked what I had done with the free samples. I have not shopped at Sephora before, I did not realize it offered free samples with every online order. At no point in the long process of selling me a gift card and setting up the online purchase was i ever offered samples, or told about the opportunity for them in any way.

I see no point in shopping in store if I'm just going to be told whatever lies are needed to make the sale. Incredibly disappointed with my experience, and would suggest others skip the middle man and shop online or at another retailer for their beauty products

I went in looking for SPF facial cream and was greeted by Matthew and he was sooo helpful and knowledge in all the products he suggested for my skin type and also didn't pressure me into buying anything I wasn't 100% sure about.it was a very good experience and I will continue to shop at the St. Vital Sephora:)

Was at St. Vital mall today and had a bit of time to browse. Was in the perfume section of Sephora and had many offers of help. A very friendly woman named Laura went so above and beyond helping find suggestions, and made it a real pleasure to come to Sephora. Such wonderful employees can't wait to be back for future purchases.

The staff at this location are amazingly friendly and knowledgeable. I've had such great experiences here. I bought the items in the pic in the last 2 weeks. The Tatcha set is amazing.

Hey, I was in the Sephora st vital center at Winnipeg! There were 4 of us, 3 browns and 1 white girl and all of sudden all the attends were talking on their little phones about us! 3 people behind me! I talked to both managers and in fact there were doing that as well! They asked one office guard to come inside store to follow us around! They pass one perfume to see if the detectors were on! We felt really uncomfortable abou it! They said to us it was a normal action of the store but there were planing girls inside of the stores and they were not giving the same treatment that they were doing it to us! In my words I hope you better improve this kinda of treatments in your stores! Because it’s not the first time sephora has been acuse of it! I could easily sue you guys for the treatment that I receive today!

I have never been to Sephora but knew of their products because my daughter uses them. I was not sure if I would be comfortable shopping in a high end make-up store, however I was greeted by an amazing employee named Troy who helped me find exactly what I was looking for and then showed me how to apply it.
I am so happy that I spent the few extra dollars on this eyebrow enhancer. It stays on all day and will last a few years, no comparison to a cheap pencil which always smears off an hour later.

Lazy customer service reps. I spent 5 minutes looking for a product before deciding to ask them for help. Two reps “helped” look for it for it. Barely did any searching before saying “if it’s not here, then we don’t have it. ” Decided to spend another 5 minutes looking for it myself since obviously not getting any help from the reps and was eventually able to find the item myself. Great customer service - NOT.
