My parents ordered the cabbage rolls and they were absolutely awful! We served them yesterday for thanksgiving dinner. Huge disappointment. They were so overpowered with garlic we threw them in the trash. There is absolutely no mention of garlic in the description will never buy again

One Star is even too much! Bought 3 dozen of the Rice, Bacon, Onion cabbage rolls for Thanks Giving dinner, not sure where the Bacon was, but was overpowered with Garlic! Never heard of garlic in cabbage rolls. They were horrilble. What a waste of money, couldn't even eat them. Won't be buying them again! My Baba would have not been impressed!

Picked up some perogies, cabbage rolls, and meatballs, from Sevala's for thanksgiving and everything was just delicious. It tasted just like homemade with out all the hardwork of having to make it all. The staff was also very friendly and helpful! Will definitely be coming back!

Best homemade perogies. We also tried their mexican perogies and it was so gooooood! They also sell homemade sour cream

The staff was so friendly. I think she was the owner. She waited for us to come pick up our order as we got stuck in traffic on the way.

Have tried the perogies and the burgers. Yummy! Always get a box of burgers for family and friends BBQ's and everyone wants to know where we got them from. Definitely worth a try!

Bought some BUCKWHEAT cabbage rolls. YUK.mush like baby food.that's 'not' UKR.stay away from this one.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BUY the bacon pierogis.

I have purchased them multiple times at approximately $30 for 36 pierogis.

I have yet to find a piece of bacon… Which is horribly disappointing, because generally as a pierogi, they are very good.

I hope the owners and staff read this review and amend their recipe.

They are well loved in Transcona, but many of us notice the lack of bacon for the price.

I hope this helps… because I want to continue purchasing their products, I just want the flavour and moneys worth.

It’s not satisfactory ordering a lesser product… (without bacon) because you know the product you actually want, isn’t what it’s supposed to be.

Just started working in Transcona and discovered this little place. Picked up a dinner combo and some borscht to take home and it was absolutely amazing.

We had gone to the shop or store and haven’t been there in about six years or so even though they’re in our neighborhood and we were craving some good Ukrainian food. We decided to pick up some pierogies, as well as some cabbage rolls some other items as well but what I really wanted to discuss was the combination plate which consisted of pierogies cabbage rolls, and kulbassa add let me tell you I’m a proud Ukrainian. I’ve been eating this food, my whole life and this is undoubtably some of the best pierogies cabbage rolls, and kielbasa that I’ve had highly recommend this place.

Delicious Ukrainian Food, not expensive, perogies, cabbage rolls, meatballs to name a few things. Worth the trip no matter what part of the city you are coming from.

Sevala's is an absolute staple in Winnipeg. Must have Authentic Ukrainian food. You can tell the food is made with love!

Amazing Ukrainian food as well as other odds and ends! Cabbage Rolls, Perogies, Meatballs and stuffed chicken are all fantastic.

Some of the best Ukrainian food I've ever had. Food is excellent, service is great, and prices are extremely reasonable. Delicious highly recommend
