Seven Oaks Pool

Great place to take the kids but they won’t bring out toys or floating blowup toys which makes absolutely no sense because I know they have them locked up already payed for by the tax payer and they won’t use them, why? Since I was a kid this place always had the same mentality. Time to fire the person in charge and bring out the giant blow up toys for kids, the zip line and the basket ball nets! Only then might you get 5 stars.

Fun and family friendly pool. Specific areas for all levels of swimmers and a sauna. Fun place to swim.

Generally a good time, I dont find it too crowded when I go. Staff are friendly, other patrons haven't been too disruptive to my time there, facilities are nice, just wish the place ran a little earlier and later in the day

Nicely redone facility Seven Oaks improvements good with waterside etc.
The only suggestion is the floors naturally get wet. BSlippery should be wiped offenmore often! Tethere is concern

It was fun playing with my friends at the pool. I really liked it and the staff was good too

The pool and the diving boards are 5 starts but the people who go there are umm 0 stars and the floors in the change rooms are almost always wet.

I was in the women's Chaning room and seen a cockrouch. And also found lice in my nieces hair after swimming at this pool.

I can only review the kid area. Slides, water features and a relatively warm pool. The family change room was also a welcome surprise.

Rather disappointing. About 5 years ago the pool was closed for, what I understood were, renovations and the addition of an indoor splash pad. It turned out it was closed for years due to various issues. I was hoping to resume swimming laps after an accident so went to check it out.
Checked the website and noticed no lessons for children were shown -I incorrectly assumed it was a COVID thing.

On arrival the din was deafening. Children everywhere - 1 PM on a Thursday. $6 entrance fee for an adult. Paid and went in anyway. Now to be fair there were some obvious changes to the entrance not improvements but new anyway. The change room, showers, lockers and sauna were I believe exactly the same. No obvious change to the pool.
On thé good side, the children hadn’t taken over the lap lanes. I pretty much had it to myself (except for two loud talkers occupying the first two lanes who shouted away at each other in some foreign language for the 5 minutes I could tolerate the place - they just stood - no swimming)
I glanced briefly at the diving section thinking briefly of having a dive or two but it was being used for swimming lessons

I quickly showered and left. On departure I questioned the hapless employee on the desk about the swimming lessons and them not being listed on the website. She informed me that lessons were continuous from 9: 30 am on - exclusively for children from Seven Oaks School Division. What the heck - do all grade school children get this training in Winnipeg? Somehow I doubt that.
I won’t be returning. Oh there was a splash pad - I saw an opening to it and as I looked in that direction an official looking man informed me that it was for children only. I didn’t argue lol, so I can’t report on it.

They did an awesome renovation here at the 7 Oaks pool. Has now spray pads and slides. Perfect for gathering and parties for kids.

Its fun for kids young and old they got 3 slides 2 smaller ones and one bigger one. The kiddy pool was warm and at a decent depth. And its totally separate from the main pool. Which is awesome in my opinion. From what I seen of the main pool it was huge it self. With some diving boreds and other sections of depth. Its worth the time.

Pool was fairly warm. Medium size pool was a little too full this Sunday afternoon with at least 20 people in it. Super awesome slides and splash pad. Attentive guard. Lots of life jackets.

It's a shame they started charging people just this last week to watch you're family swim from the balcony

It was great although it would be nicer if the splash pad had warmer water. All the kids were freezing!

Very nice, had a blast, it is 4 times the size of the one in my town. I might be 18 but the splash pad was awesome especially since I went with my girlfriend

Splash pad was freezing, pool was warm, should of been set up to use the same water like Centennial does. Odd they didn't. Really nice facility though. Will be back.

The evening staff today Friday March 03,2015 is a bunch of inconsiderate people! They dissapoint the feeling of an 8 year old kid! Bunch of clowns!

March 29,2019-Friday-For the 2nd time around, why this government facility hire some people who is brain dead!

Waited in line over an hour and a half to get in, only to find out we had to go wait in the main overcrowded pool first before being able to go to the splash pad area we originally went there for. By the time we waited in the pool an hour had passed, and we only got 1/2 hr in the splash pad area. The family change room is so small and has no entrance to the pool, or splash pad.so you have to walk in the hall and go to either the men's or women's change room to get to the pool, such a strange setup. The floors in both change rooms were beyond filthy, with mud, large puddles of filthy water, hair, even a few dirty diapers left on the floors. Many people were wearing street shoes throughout the pool deck and splash pad area. So many people taking pictures and videos in the facility. I asked staff what their policy was, and she said as long as they only take of their children it is allowed.ridiculous as I could see people walking around taking video that obviously didn't have just their child in the picture. I know I sure don't appreciate strangers having pictures of my kids, that will probably end up on a stranger's fb page. My family has never been in such a crowd that many lacked in manners, pushing, cutting in line etc. I have been to many swimming facilities in my life and never seen anything like this. My kids don't want to go back either. We will stick to the Y.way cleaner facility. I can't express enough how filthy this place was.
