The owners here are some of my favorite people. The staff are always friendly. The food is great. They so many great live bands. It's so fun and I've never had a bad experience there.

This is just a good wholesome pub, you are always amongst friends. The free Wednesday night trivia is usually my go to with a few colleagues, the variety of questions is quite something. Great selection of beers on tap and the fare from the kitchen never ceases to impress. We have noticed the nachos we routinely order have gotten smaller and smaller + the fixings on the top are less (especially cheese), though I feel like this is a sign of the times and not a unique issue to Shannons.

Nice place, great environment. It was an awesome time. We went on a karaoke night. Was a whole vibe with all kinds of people.

This is our first time visiting and it happened to be our last supper in Winnipeg before moving. I cannot imagine a better place to have eaten. The food was fresh and portions were very good. Prices were excellent! The beer was great (Kilkenny). Claire, our server, was friendly and attentive. And the manager made a point of rolling around to see us a couple of times. Just a good send off and they never knew it.

Only disappointed that we can't go back tomorrow.

Go! You will not regret it.

Really cool pub experience in Winnipeg. I love going after Jets games and concerts. They feature karaoke nights, live bands, and even a piano for patrons to play! Drinks and service are superb. Highly recommend!

Excellent little pub. Had some drinks with friends and was shocked at how affordable it was. Has a great atmosphere with friendly servers. I would definitely go back if I'm in the area.

Really good place for drinks and a good time, bartender kept my tab in order which I appreciated very much sometimes they can get out of hand. Would recommend to any travellers.

Food is good, chicken wings are very good. Sam was very kind. I would rate higher stars but it was so loud to hear myself and friends talking. We had to shout, then we left for quiet place

Very loud. Hard to have any conversation. The band we heard was repetitive which gave the atmosphere an even irritating effect.

Great little pub, tucked away in the lower levels of the Delta block. Karaoke was pretty good, and the bourbon selection is respectable. Always had a fun time there.

Had a great pint and fish and chips meal here. Located in the basement of the building which was a surprise…but a very unique location. There was a jazz trio playing in the stage. Food was awesome, location good, and overall feel was good.

I ordered the original Shannons burger via Skip, added bacon an cheese but they sadly forgot to put the ingredients that the menu mentions like lettuce an tomatoes. Great burger patty but with nothing else on it very bland

Good pub food, English atmosphere, convenient location. Bartenders served us off the menu cocktails on our request which was great! Guinness on tap. Been here a few times and I’ll be back again!

I thoroughly enjoyed karaoke night on Saturdays at Shannon’s Irish Pub and Eatery. Everyone was extremely nice, and the service was fast and excellent!

Bartenders were very rude and had very poor service. Bartenders were getting mad because people were saying "Hey, can we get some service" just for saying "hey" and not calling them by their name, but when people would ask them for their name they wouldn't get say. Would not recommend this bar at all, if you want good service go anywhere else but here. Also the drinks were no good.

If you like singing white people Manitoba social sounds, this place is perfect. If you're looking for an Irish pub, this isn't it.

Stood at the bar for half an hour with cash in hand, didn't get acknowledged, only drinks being poured were for waitresses. Absolutely trash service

Lamb burger offered up for burger week was super good. Nicely topped, lots of flavour. Could have used just a few more fries.

Ordered the fish through skip the dishes. This is based on the meal. I have no idea what restaurant is like. The fish and chips were great for the price. The thing that lost the star was the Cole slaw. (A). Given that the serving was about a tablespoon. They should not have bothered.and (B). Of course this is personal taste preference. But the coleslaw was dressed with some kind of wine cider vinegar. That though I know that is how it is suppose to taste. It still tasted that it had gone bad.

Came to drink beer and listen to the live music, ended up drinking beer by listening for 1.5 hour "Check, check, test. One, two, three. ". It's so annoying, just start singing already.

P. S. After 1.5 hours they just left. No music.

Excellent food and good drinks! The only issue was with our waitress, the blonde one, who made the experience awful. She was rude to my SO, slow to check in on us, and seemed very distracted (checking her phone on the floor).

Had a great time. Very comfy place. Bartenders on point and amazing, karaoke host is fantastic. 10/10

It was my first time there and it was amazing I will definitely go back. I went on karaoke night and the people and the staff are very friendly and they make you feel at home.

Ordered our food through skip the dishes And we wanted to make some modifications so we called up the restaurant and they were so accommodating they said yes no problem would be happy to. They were out of one item I called them up and talk to them they were willing to replace it with anything else that I wanted super salad or fries him again no no questions. The food itself was really good Portion size was very good as well and would definitely order from there again hoping to visit once restrictions will allow

Five stars just for giving me an extra beer with my skip order.

I share several times meals here on many occasion mostly I work at Angus Street and back in the day go to I prefer ichiban or elephant and Castle when I work in the neighborhood or like in the building eurocanada building kind of the building

Wow! Decided to eat here just because we’ve been trying to support local lately, and as a first-timer, I was blown away!
Of course we ordered for delivery, everything was delicious, and you can really see the amount of time, effort, and personalized appreciation for your business that goes into your order.
I’ll definitely be ordering from here again in the future, thank you for the wonderful experience during a really tough time.

I love coming here! They often have great live bands, and last time they had karaoke going! The food is authentic and never disappointing!

Shannons was one of my first pub experiences years back and they've set a high standard ever since. I love the grungy basement feel, the food is great and the beer selection is decent. A great space to play pool or darts and some little nooks to have conversation over drinks, too.

Great little pub.our server Amanda was awesome. You have to try the hotdog but watch the Jalepeno's.i had the mushroom soup on the side.good atmosphere.good selection of local brews.

Fast and friendly service despite being busy on a Jets game night, food and drinks were good as well as fairly priced

We were looking for a more chill vibe for after dinner drinks. Fast forward to us belting out Queen during their Saturday Karaoke night which was a total blast. Drink were reasonably priced especially considering it's downtown. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place to have a few and some good convo.

Awesome pub in the heart of the city. Good food, very clean, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. The bartender actually had an Irish accent!

I like this place its too busy your drinks are always there when you want the bartenders are so amazing and when it comes time to close you dont feel like you're being rushed out of the bar they give you a chance to relax while they clean up.

Good Karaoke. Used to come here 17 years ago when I lived in Winnipeg. Good service and fun times. Total dive bar recommend if in the downtown area.

I always love going to Shannon's right next to the convention center nice quick spot with amazing food good service good people can't go wrong I love that bar being Scottish Irish the food hits the spot just like home

This is the place to be for just about any event, draws in the chillest of crowds and the food ain't half bad

Amazing ambience, good food, great staff! The spicy chicken wrap and mushroom soup are major menu highlights. Shout out to the lamb burger as well as the brilliant bar tender!

Went here for a colleague's birthday party once. I've been back many times. Atmosphere is great, and music isn't too loud so that you can't have a conversation as well. Couple of pool tables, darts and good food to boot. Favourite pub in the city.

Fish and chip special was decent, and drink special was also a good deal. Otherwise it seemed overpriced.

Just popped in for a drink. Appears to have great atmosphere - big screen TV, pool table and dart boards. You can order food but we had just finished dinner at another downtown location. Across the street from the convention centre and a couple of blocks from the MTS Centre.

It's a lively bar I don't usually see much of the undesirable types inside like the usual downtown bar
