I went in there to get money order not realizing that they don’t have it but I was confused since everyone I was asked told me to go to shoppers to get one. There was a very grumpy old lady cashier who was really rude to me just for no reason, she started raising her voice and I was speechless. She treated me like I was asking her to pay for the money order. Like wth, please provide a customer service crash course for your employees.

Every time I come here, I receive the worst service. The gentleman at the cashier was super friendly. But the ladies in the beauty boutique were extremely rude, degrading and did not even consider any other options to assist me and send me back to the original store which is super frustrating especially since I’m pregnant and am trying to avoid any extra trips. Super saddening as I’ve never had any issues with returning items at other stores and was never treated this way. And she basically told me someone else will help me as she is ready to go so basically she couldn’t be bothered with my issues but literally zero customer service unfortunately. If possible, i would avoid this shoppers altogether.

Experienced worst customer service here during my visit on 15th June evening. The lady in the cosmetics section (name starts with an A, has black hair) was beyond rude and lacked basic communication skills. Already complained to shoppers customer care department because i’ve never seen a behaviour like this from a store employee. Avoid this location if you can.

I shop here alot, as i live two blocks away.i would normally give this place 5 stars, but for one tiny thing. The Cashier with glasses, he had come to ask me if i needed help finding anything. I had to take off my headphones to hear him. I have a security background and i know this is a loss prevention tactic. I'm 48 years old and rarely need "help finding" anything.it's possible that at 11: 10 pm that it might have been a helpful query, but my feeling is not really. I had two items in my hand and was considering a third snack. I shop there alot and know they have shoplifting problems all the time. But no, i am not an 85 year old going senile.lol. Overall good place, i get my bus card filled there frequently. Just not a fan of the loss prevention question. Update May 10th.i still see the dude that looks like Bubbles from the Trailer Park Boys asking other ppl if "They needed help finding anything. " I know you guys have shoplifting problems on the daily, I just don't like that guy.upping my rating from 4 stars to 5, even with Bubbles working there, i just avoid him altogether. Everyone else there is polite to me. I shop here alot. Or so I have been told by the friendly staff. Shout out to Hassan!

Was one of my favourite location to shop. However, since I received the worst customer service last week, will never return.

Yesterday around 11: 15 AM, my wife and I were taking our daughter for visa photo. A lady came and prepared to take the photo. On the banner in the store, it reads “passport photo $24.99, digit photo available”. I told the lady we needed two photos, she said $24.99. And I also told her I needed the digit photo too, she said “that is another $34.99”. In total $60 for the digit and two photos, that was not told on the banner and also too expensive for me. Then I was discussing the price with my wife. Suddenly, the lady yelled “you take it or not? I am not going to discuss the price with you”. She was so impatient and rude, which makes me not even want to step in the store anymore in the future. Too bad experience. Avoid that store if you can.

9: 12 pm Thursday December 1st I wanna top up my transit card in the shoppers, I have paid it through my credit card but the lady said she must refuse it cos I didn’t carry my passport with me. This is the first time I hear somebody say I need to use my credit card with my ID. Based on her logics I think I can’t do anything without my ID. Maybe I need my ID to take the bus, eat at the restaurant and go to the classroom. After all sometimes proving you are who you are is the most difficult thing. So I must complain her cos I think she deliberately made things difficult for me and this behaviour is discrimination or racism. What’s worse, I haven’t received the refund and cos she refused my payment I must go to another shoppers to top up my transit card so I wait for the bus in this harsh winter for 40 minutes. And in another shoppers I successfully top up my transit card and I described this lady’s behaviour to the staff and they said what she did is unreasonable. So I must complain her.

I have my prescriptions filled here and at south Glenn shoppers (which is close to my hair salon) Both stores are great. The pharmacy is busier here but closer to my home. The pharmacy assistant helped me out so good today. She went above and beyond. Just wanted to share my great experience. Some times people just need a little extra patience these days. Not everything can be at your finger tips in an instant.

Horrible horrible service. I won’t even give a star if i could. Tried to return online order and was told by a rude old lady that i need my packing slip. It clearly show on the slip that i could use a shipping confirmation email instead which she refused to accept when i showed her. Wasted my time!

I had sent my brother to buy insulin needles for my diabetic cat from the pharmacy. They are cheaper to get at the pharmacy so I buy them there instead. I sent my brother to buy them as I was at work and I had used my last syringe in the morning and I had to give my cat another dose when I got home from work. To my disgust, my brother came home and told me he was stereotyped by the pharmacist or tech on duty. To give you a visual we are not white, we are black/white mixed people and my brother was in regular everyday street wear. He had picture of the packaging on his phone showed it to the pharmacy person and asked for two packs of syringes. The person that was helping him looked at the other person working in the pharmacy and she shook her head no and then the person helping my brother said he could only have one. I have bought my syringes there numerous times and never had an issue, I typically buy multiple packs at a time as my cat recieves 4 units twice a day so instead of making multiple trips to buy them I buy more then one ten pack bundle at a time. It’s one thing for you to say “ no this is our last one so this is all I can sell you “ but he was not told why he could not have more than one.for them to say no you can only have one for and give no reason? DIGUSTING shoppers drug mart.

DO NOT GET MEDICINE IN THIS PHARMACY because they are IRRESPONSIBLE about the patient at all. I came to pick up my two month old baby's vaccine, it was supposed to reserved in refrigerate but the staff did not tell me any about it, so I kept it in room temperature. After few days I took it to the doctor to do the shot, the doctor said if it has gone bad since it was not reserved in refrigerate, the doctor recommenced I should talk to the store and get money back or get another free refill because I should get noticed when I picked it up in pharmacy. However the pharmacist is impatiently and said I must had rejected their consultation so they has no liability about it, it was my responsibility to ask them about the medicine since it was my new medicine, and there are tiny line on the box said reserve it in refrigerate.
I am speechless because when I picked up the medicine the girl did asked me do I need to consult with the pharmacist about the medicine after I paid, because this vaccine was with my other old prescription so I said no, and the girl looks cold and impatient. However, I think they should give me the heads up about the vaccine reservation and if they did not, they should give me a better attitude about their impatient service. All other pharmacy will explain to you about how to take the medicine before you pay it, make sure you know what you are taking, but not this one particular. I had wasted my money and time here and they have no care about it. I let them throw away the vaccine and went to another pharmacy.
I had much better service at another shoppers drug mart. The other location's pharmacist recommend me to reserve the vaccine at store until my next doctor appointment, and they were making sure that this was the right amount with the patient and how to take the medicine before I pay it.
If you can go any other pharmacy, DON'T go here. You deserve better service. Don't waste your time and money here.

The pharmacist lady and the pharmacy assistant are super rude for no reason. She tossed the medication at me when I came for pick up. Literally a bimbo. Havent had this experience in any shoppers. If you check the reviews you will see many people writing about the pharmacy staff yet management takes no action. Will not be shopping here!

Really bad experience. I went there for passport size photos and the guy told me he will be back soon but instead he was at the till. Still we was patiently waiting there for 10-15 minutes but still he didn’t come back even though he can see us standing.

Really disappointed. Will never come back again
