Smitty's Family Restaurant and Lounge

It’s good if you sit in or get take out when it’s dead but last time I tried to get take out when it was busy I showed up and they said the food order was never put in and that it would be at least another hour if I still wanted it so I just left.

Always like it at smittys. Doesn't matter if for breakfast or dinner.
Sever Lauren is a sweetheart, super friendly and organized.

Staff are super welcoming and take exceptional care of customers. Food arrives quickly and portions are generous. Hot and tasty dining.

I had never been to this Smitty's before. My server, Brittney, made it such an amazing experience! She was so personable and helpful. All the customers at her tables were commenting how great she was. It's one thing to be competent, but to really care about the customer was so refreshing! I will definitely come back, because of this server! The wings were great as well.

Breakfast was warm and delicious! Our server Vanencia was very kind and efficient with our orders! Would come back for breakfast again.

Alexie is basically the only reason me and my work crew went here for every meal while working in Steinbach off and on the last month. All the other servers were excellent as well. I would recommend it to anyone staying in Steinbach for any period of time

Ordered club meal. Sandwich 1/2 inch thick, got a 3 inch bowl of fries. 1st time ever, having this meal at this Smitties. Not worth $20. Tag when you have to follow up with going to another resturant and get another meal. Be aware!

Lauren was our server when me and my family went out. She was so sweet, checked on us and made sure we had everything and we’re 100% satisfied with what we got. Lauren’s an amazing server!

I ordered a fish burger that's not on the menu. Our waitress along with the kitchen staff figured it out and created a most delicious fish burger.

Good food, good service, great company! Atmosphere was pleasant, establishment was clean and bright. All in all, a pretty well run Smitty's.

Like the restaurant. Like the employees and management. The mask policy not so much. I chose to leave instead of wear a face covering. Our government is slow on the reopening. Look at Alberta, BC, Ontario, Saskatchewan, and we have the smallest population. Would love to see people's faces. Will be back someday. BPs wings though 11/10

Waitress was lovely (Isabella), however, that's about it. Nachos and wings were extremely late. They brought a plate of just chicken topping for the nachos (not sure why) and told me that they were going to deduct it from my order. Ended up getting charged twice for the chicken. Overall, not very impressed.

Went there this morning it was awesome, Joanne was great, she came out to our car for our order, received our food on trays that hooked on your car like a 60s drive in, great experience

Last night we went for supper here. Boy am i ever dissapointed. I had the chicken quesadilla. Barely no cheese no fillings. And then our steak was overcooked and dry. Dont get me started on the mash. Would not recommend coming here.

Hi. I have always like going to this Smitty’s. Always good service and good food. I am just sad to say that the manager has put a policy in place that they will not accept a medical exemption for the mask policy. That is discrimination against a person’s disability.

Great food, but small portions for take-out. I find you got more when you were allowed to dine in. Look forward future dine-in dinners!

I was craving a turkey dinner. I was satisfied with this meal. It hit the spot. Made me full too. I had ordered it and picked up at the restaurant yesterday evening.

Food was good and the staff was friendly. All current safety protocols were being adhered to. They were able to accommodate our group which consisted of 2 households by putting us in an privaye area where we were able to be at separate tables, properly distanced, but close enough to still have a conversation. Great job Smitty's.

Smitty's in Steinbach wonderful food very tasty quick to your table my waitress Kristen a absolutely wonderful waitress knowledgeable bubbly cheerful and apparently very happy will be back again

I’ve been here multiple times with a larger group of people and Angelina has always been our waitress. She is so kind and patient with us, and she always has amazing suggestions. The food is also very delicious!

Food was amazing, and the service was incredible. Michelle was an excellent waitress with a warm smile that a mask can't even hide and a very friendly and sociable personality.

The food at Smitty's is always delicious, right on time, and the service is great, especially from Ange, she always makes sure to check up on us with her friendly service and a pot of coffee on hand!

My friend and I went here for dinner the other day to catch up and spend some time together. The environment here is just so welcoming and there’s so many friendly faces. We had Angelina as our server and she went above and beyond to make our experience all the more enjoyable. All our needs were promptly met and if we return, we’ll definitely request her again!

Went for a wing night. Horrible service. Waitress with attitude. Not a pleasant experience. 2 stars since food is at least decent.

Besides a couple of mix ups with the food. It was a pleasant experience. Our waitress was super good and excited to wait on our table.

To expensive you I ordered a omelet just a omelet and fruit bowl the omelet was the smallest thing I ever say and the fruit bowl and I had a water it costs me 18 dollars like shame on you me friend had to order 3 plates of fries to make it like other places smitty's restaurant is a joke and the waitresses have a attitude problem I said I would never eat there again and I haven't if you want to no how many fries they give you its like one potato so 10 fries for 5 bucks what a ripe off

They saved our kidless evening.
Went to the frantz and got ifnored, went to smittys a little grumpy, but the servers turned that around, and the cooks made a phenominal meal! Always consistent quality and helpful staff.

Fantastic service from the staff, plenty of smiles and friendliness. The food arrived quickly and tasted excellent. So many great things to be said about this restaurant!
