Sobeys - Unicity

This is a very nice clean store with a great variety of fresh produce and baking. The fellow at the lottery tickets is always helpful and friendly. The cashiers are nice too, particularly one named Barb.

It was so cold in the store yesterday that I couldn’t even browse - I just grabbed the two items I needed and left. You’re losing business if it’s too cold in the store for people to take their time shopping.

The are staff are friendly and very helpful. Excellant selection of goods. Very clean store. The cashiers are the best in town.

Started going to Sobeys, because the Superstore on Portage is filthy.
When you walk into this Sobeys it is clean. The produce area is nice a bright. The fruits and vegetables are gleaming and well organized. The floors are shiny.
I will definitely be making return visits to this location.
This would have been a 5 star visit. However…….
My only negative is the senior cashier we had was not engaging. The only spoken word was “Do you have a Scene card? ”

Prices always seem reasonable, and the selection is great. If we can't find something we want it's almost always here.

Second time in two months I came home to find that I bought expired goods. The first was BBQ sauce that expired in April 2022 and the second was peanut butter that expired Feb 18 2023. How can they have something on the shelves that expired almost a year ago? ! Will not be back.

You have employees that are not vaccinated. I needed help and there is nobody around to ask. If your store has these issues I will not be coming back.

Similar to Safeway in terms of product, just more popular. I will say it’s clean and organized. Kind of dear with pricing and staff efforts are mediocre. Not a big fan of owner or management, Rick. Seems to lose vision of the purpose/meaning of customer service.

Went to pharmacy for covid vaccination. Pharmacy staff is very helpful and is willing to answer any questions you may have.
Keep up the good work.

Sobeys is one of the best grocery stores in Winnipeg. Love the look of the store inside, always fresh food. Great deli and they also have staff that know how to bag your groceries.

The manager helped me out despite how busy it was. She's very talented at multitasking and it's very clean inside.

I like the unicity location even though not enough ethnic food options. I like the meat selection and usually order the wraps platters from this location. Really like platters from this location for The office

Incredible shout out to this sobeys, sandwich platters are a 24hr pre order, but we had a sudden death in the family, and once I explained they said they can have it done in 30 min. The kindness was very needed at that time, the food was great and fresh, I just wanted ppl to know that these specific deli workers saved a part of a day that was very hard and their kindness meant so much. Thank you.

Fresh packaged fruit and veggies, and flatbread pizzas are the best! Sushi is fresh, always.and oh my! I picked up a Sobey's freshly made taco dip and the guac on the bottom was A. M. A. Z. I. N. G! Sobey's always has a great selection, but thank you to whoever made that guac, because I sure am missing Mexico this year!

Friendly staff and store was clean. Had a weird request to purchase 50 brown paper bags at the checkout and they happily fulfilled my request!

The evening staff is very friendly and kind! Was really happy when I had some one help me pack up my bagged items, sense not a lot of stores allow it anymore. I definitely think they need to bring back baggers to help us out when checking out our items and create more jobs in the retail setting!

This Sobeys has a great Gluten free section. Store is always clean and staff are friendly. They take safety seriously and make sure carts are cleaned before use. Definitely one of my fave places to shop.

Half the staff are nice and helpful, the other half are old, grumpy and should not be in any position of customer service. They speak to you like your inconveniencing them while they chat to their other coworkers about non-work related chat. Start hiring employees that want to be there.

Store is well arranged for social distancing, carts are sanitized as you walk in, hand sanitizing station available and now you can line up inside to shelter from the cold. Overall, a very nice sholling experience considering the times we're in.

Was my go to store, WAS. Too often not finding what I looking for and the produce section has gone way downhill. Sobeys on Taylor much better or Safeway on Portage.

Not my usual Sobeys, but because they're all arranged about the same, I have no problems navigating here. I really appreciate the pharmacy, excellent staff there! I always come away feeling well cared for.

Used self check out. Machine wouldn't recognize my gift card. Took 2 staff to help me make my purchase. Otherwise, all was nice. Easy to navigate

Air Miles, always a place to park and never have to wait in line to check out for longer then a few minutes

Its Sobeys. Nothing different than any other Sobeys store. Sales are decent and good selections usually.

This is a pretty good Sobeys location, and the staff are generally helpful. Certain items should definitely be stocked more often, but overall the store carries a wide variety of items.

This store is slipping. Very poor customer service and prices are way above what other stores charge - if you are going to charge more for product you better make sure your customer service is second to none - service here is what I would expect from a store with low prices.

My husband had a stroke and they acted fast and kept talking to him and he stayed alert. Thank you to your quick action. Since store open I have had only positive events in store
