Shoutout to Destiny! I called ahead of time and she was waiting for me to fill up my foiled number balloons. Because of her she made my mom feel especially loved on her birthday. Thank you and keep up the great work Destiny!:)

Met upon entrance with staff providing hand sanitizer and a cleaned shopping cart. Beautiful and tasty produce. Excellent selection of bread, bakery items, fresh fish and meat. Helpful staff when you cannot find an item. Out-of-stock sale items are recorded with the shopper given a "rain check" for the sale price when the item (s) are restocked. Staff are provided if assistance to your car is required.

Hit and miss experience. At times the service is excellent and sometimes the security guy keeps following us around for no apparent reason! This has happened to me more than twice, the security person kept following us around in all the people.

Sobey's (and Safeway, since they're the same company now) have a good variety of quality produce, meat, and groceries, at reasonable, if not hugely competitive, prices. Staff are very friendly, helpful, and respectful.

This Sobeys is always a great experience. The staff go over and above of you need a hand. This is the only Sobeys in Winnipeg that your can go to and get Bubby's pickles! The best pickles in the city!

Please, this is NOT the time to lift the mask policy for your employees. I just had my deli meat handled by a dude breathing on it inches from his face, right as Manitoba cases are at an all time high and still going up.

I love the Chipotle Roasted Chicken at Sobeys. The chicken is moist and very flavorful. Service is excellent. Clean. Attentive helpful staff.

Prices are higher then Superstore and they no longer sell or off er plastic bags, they do offer to sell you paper bags at 10 cents each or reusable ones.

PLEASE REDUCE TOUCH POINTS. AT THE ENTRANCE TO THE STORE, PLEASE REPLACE YOUR HAND GUN SANITIZER BOTTLE WITH A PRESS DOWN SANITIZER BOTTLE OR AN AUTOMATIC SANITIZER STATION. YOUR PRESTIGEOUS ORGANIZATION SHOULD PROVIDE BETTER BIOSECURITY. I visited 07-20-2020. Sanitizer bottle was a gun spray. Everyone coming into the store had to touch and squeeze same gun. Not hygienic atall. POOR BIOSECURITY.

Friendly staff, they continue to enforce Covid-19 protocols and disinfect shopping carts which is nice as many places have all but stopped or leave it up to customers.

My go to grocery store. Thank you for getting on board and charging for bags.it may be a period of transition, but this will force me to get in the habit

Incredibly rude staff. Didn't think it was possible to leave a grocery store a poor rating. But unfortunately, here we are.

NOT impressed that you are CHARGING for ALL bags - including paper. I would expect that from a 'discount' grocery store. As Sobeys is supposedly more of a full-service store, paper bags should be provided at no charge. Also not impressed with the snarky response I received from staff when I asked about the bags - got a rather rude 'well you know we've been advertising since August. ' (as I'd asked about the bags, obviously I did NOT know).
