Spencers

I have 10 years experience in retail. I love going to spencers but lately it's been pretty lacking. I've been to the polo location several times as it's closest to me. I know they just switched store locations in the mall but lately it's super disorganized in there. I walked in and noticed lots of merchandise (tshirts) on THE FLOOR on top of dirty boot marks right in front of the entrance. Some shirts were off of the shelves and on the floor throughout the store. When I went to get assistance from staff there's never anyone at the counter. I love spencers and I enjoy shopping there. But I've heard tons ofnegative things about polo spencers and my experience there isn't comparable to the one I have at st vital which is immaculate. I hope to see it improve and have positive things said about it.

The manager is so fricking rude for no reason. Rolled her eyes at me and was so condescending when I asked for assistance. I work in retail & I get that customers can be annoying sometimes but I showed this lady nothing but kindness and was met with that. I’m seeing a lot of negative reviews on miss grumpy pants & it seems as though y’all haven’t fired her yet because no one else wants that position. Polo park is a toxic place to work so maybe look into making it better so the employees and management aren’t so miserable and rude. The girl checking out my items was very nice though so I give 2 stars instead of 1

The rudest service I’ve ever received. We were planning on buying some lights for Halloween and asked the lady’s for assistance, looking at the voltage of the lights. They look like they hated us. After we found out the voltage, I said to my partner we should go look around the store some more. (Planning on getting these lights they looked at) The lady grab the lights and said I’ll put this back on the floor then. ” Rudely. I don’t write reviews often, but this was just way too rude and uncomfortable. So I just left instead. Very poor manners. It looks like nobody wanted to be there.

I love Spencer’s and usually they have amazing employees but the one I delt with today thought it was appropriate to reach over and literally rip my item out of hands blurt out cash or debit then shoved my item into a bag aggressively I had no prior conversation or confrontation with her so I really don’t know why she was being so rude and disrespectful to me and boyfriend

Woman Manager with dark long hair (was in a braid) is super rude.
I simply asked to see a different prop and let her know the Annabelle doll is quite damaged which is why i didnt buy it, and as she is grabbing a different one, she replied in a rude tone " it is what it is, if someone is desperate enough they will buy it"

As a manager myself, I'd never talk to a excited customer spending over 130$ in my store like that.
If the product is damaged, contact head office. It could be discounted for others, or sent back and written off.
Having that mind set of "if someone is desperate enough " just tells me you don't care about your job, your inventory, the place you work or have any good customer service skills.

All the other staff are awesome, chippy and friendly and young and fun!

Its really a nyc place for shopping the toys or any antiques.
Moreover we can purchase Halloween dresses as well.

Love what they sell. Always too crowded and I feel like I'm being rushed everytime i want to buy new guages or if I want multiple cases opened. Can't really tell who works there and who doesn't. It's a bit confusing. Not impressed with staff but I do like the products they sell.

Went in to buy some body jewellery when I asked one of the workers if she could pull out some jewellery for me the only response I got was rude saying I don’t have the keys. But she then proceeded to go grab the keys. When she opens the jewellery up she was very rude trying to keep the glass really tightly closed like I was going to grab them and run? The other girl working there was super rude to didn’t seem to want to answer any of my questions or anything. When I went to pay though she was super happy asking me to donate to all these things. Then tried to give me a customer loyalty card which I declined letting her know I won’t be back. Not sure if they’re mad because they make minimum wage selling bongs and cox. Or the fact that she was wearing velvet pants. Either way she was super unpleasant and I will not be going back there

Cool feeling and niche items. No real sales even with sale signs. Best music so far. Love how the store evolves. Good buyers and the darkness inside isn’t a turn off.

Good selection of products, but very rude staff. I understand that I had gone when they were busy, but they were rude and unprofessional about me asking for help getting a piercing. As well as they were trying to rush us with payment as well.

Always love the shirts they have here! Just hate that it's so small, but definitely a cool looking store. Staff are friendly

Amazing service and amazing products! Never had bad quality things and always staying up to date with both latest trends and amazing music artists and old classic ones and things all in all favorite store

Great variety of products. Get most of my mugs from here. Always a nice selection of tees. Bought my daughter a nice Billie Eilish one. She loved it.

It was okay didn't have what I was looking for but ended up still buying other things good little store
