Spero's Pizza Gimli

Was not a fan of the canned mushrooms used on the pizza. Left a bad texture and taste when fresh mushrooms would have earned a way higher rating and a better pizza experience. Unfortunately unimpressed.

Wasn't happy that I phone more than an hour before closing time and they just completely ignored my calls but the pizza is amazing
If you gonna say your open til 9pm maybe answer the phone too idk but again the food is amazing

One size thick pizza. Could be cooked lower temp longer time, In my opinion. I like thin crust personally. It’s decent but hopefully they get a few more options. I have only taken to go from the old and new location. Owner was super nice.

It was so good we got it twice in 5 days. The dough is amazing and the toppings are generous. The owner is super friendly and genuinely grateful for your business! There is only one size, but it’s excellent value for your money. One pizza can feed a family of 3-4 easily. You can pop in or call ahead, and wait for the “it’s ready” text while you walk the pier. We will definitely be making Spero’s a must get any time we visit Gimli!

I did not order. This is about website. Went onto the website to see prices and info. Barely any info but on 3 pizzas, no menu. Finding a phone number on the site is not easy which it should be for customers. Also after going onto the website I now have a virus taking over my phone. Not happy at all with the website. Call if you have to avoid the website. Seriously not happy how the pizza is on the expensive side but can't seem to have a decent website.

My brother-in-law raves about Spero's so we decided to do the drive from Winnipeg to Gimli last Saturday to check it out. First impression of the owner: a total gentleman! We ordered a Canadian and a pepperoni to go and saw some local sights while it was prepared, then got a text message when it was ready.
Wow! Made fast and fresh with quality ingredients! Thick but light crust, lots of cheese, generous toppings, subtle and abundant sauce. Great value for what you get. I can see why my bro loves this place! Definitely worth the drive! And did I mention Spero is a top-notch fella?

First time customer here and yes it's as good as a pizza you'll get anywhere in Canada let alone Gimli. Fluffy and Crispy crust with generous toppings and cheese. Owner is genuine and proud of the pies he serves. Must try for carry out!

I rarely write reviews but GOOD LAWD this is the best pizza of my life. Sweetest owner ever, affordable, tastes AMAZING can’t believe it. Highly recommend.

The gentleman running it is very friendly. The sauce is FABULOUS! The crust is somewhere between thin and thick and is soft & fluffy (not tough or chewy like some thicker crusts can be) with a perfect amount of toppings! Going to be a recurring treat for sure!

I popped in yesterday to try Spero's pizza. I was just passing through. I sat outside with my trailer, and was pleasantly surprised when they even took the time to text me when my pizza was ready. The pizza was old school and fantastic. Full of flavor and puffy, crispy crust. My new favorite stop in Gimli. The man running it was friendly, professional and courteous. Absolutely recommended!

Had my little people with me. Had to get them a pizza from here. They definitely liked it. Ordered it with everything. You have to have it with all the toppings to get the taste. I know we'll be ordering from there a lot. Great job! Awesome pizza!

Wonderful pie at Spero's Pizzeria! We picked up a pie for the first time this year early in the summer on our way to the lake. Now we pick one up every time we are passing through Gimli.

Delightful owner cooking up some good old fashioned pizza. Generous with their toppings and cheese with a good crust that can handle it.

We’ve travelled all around the world and all we can say is that this is some of the best pizza we’ve ever had! We’re thin crust people and though the thin crust is more like a regular crust to us, crust is to die for and we ate every bite of it! Great value for the money and nice vibes from the Italian chef! Outdoor dining and takeout only, and one of the best food experiences I had in Gimli!

Every time I visit Gimli, I never leave without grabbing a pizza from Spero's! The price is absolutely reasonable for the size you get.they're huge! He even takes e-transfer for payment, which makes things super easy! The crust is the kind you can reheat in the microwave and it's not super soggy after either!

I don’t like pizza! Eating pizza is a once every 6 months or longer. Speros is a pizza place that I will actually enjoy the pizza. Just remember you are not getting a lot of choices but after you taste it that won’t be an issue!

This is by far the absolute best pizza ever! We have had it three times.each time the pizza is perfectly cooked and hot! The owner is a super nice guy!
