My 2022 VW Jetta has been in the shop 3 times in 6 weeks. It's getting almost comical. I've never regretted purchasing a vehicle more.

I went to the St James VW dealership to buy a used truck on their lot. I was treated very well and feel I got a decent deal on the vehicle. I worked with a gentleman named Kirby. I would recommend dealing with him to anyone who is looking to purchase a vehicle. He was willing to get me the answers I wanted and the price I needed.

I spoke with Dylan when I initially made a service appointment. I called back a few days later and Dylan and I spoke again and he gave me an earlier appointment due to an urgent issue with my car. I was impressed with Dylan even before I actually met him. When I went into the service door a young man with curly hair was running to get things done, I found out later that Dylan doesn’t waste time walking, he runs. Dylan kept me informed as the what was happening with my car. When I went to pick up my car, Dylan helped me again. He said he would grab my car and bring it up front, of course he ran to get it! The other gentleman in the service department was also very nice, I don’t know his name though. 5 stars for the service department, especially Dylan. The service was under warranty so that was an added bonus!

Having to edit my five-star review to a two-star review after a month has passed since purchasing my vehicle from St. James Volkswagen.

During the final part of the buying process, finance manager Sabbir and I agreed on getting a rust-proofing undercoat put on my new vehicle as part of my insurance. He assured me I would be called within a couple of days by one of his guys to set up the service.

After a week, I was not called, so I phoned them to set the appointment up myself. I was told by Cody from the service department that this was not possible, as Sabbir would need to be the one to directly set it up. Since he was not there that day, I was told Sabbir would call back within the next day.

Another week and no callback, so I called them again myself. This time, no one even answered the phone, and so I left a voicemail with my information and issue, and awaited a returned call.

Once again.no call back for over a week. I called again, wanting to speak directly to Sabbir as the service department had advised, and was hung up on twice. Determined to get this issue sorted out, I called again, and this time hit Sabbir's voicemail, left him a message, and he called back in seconds. He was not sure why the service department told me I had to call him directly, as they are fully capable of setting up the appointment, but set it up for me and asked if I would need a loaner vehicle when I arrived. I said yes.

Today, I arrived for my appointment.only to be told no loaner vehicles were available and I would not be getting one. My entire day's plans had to be moved around as I did not have access to a vehicle for most of it, even though I was told I would.

St. James VW has been nightmarish to deal with throughout this entire ordeal. I can only imagine what might happen if I had to bring my vehicle back for something more complex than an undercoat. Two stars only because the vehicle itself has been great so far and the shuttle drivers today were both awesome guys.

Professional service from sales department to finance managers. St. James Volkswagen is great for helping you find your car, expert opinions and home feeling atmosphere. Will shop there again

Kurubei (goes by Kirby) kindly assisted me with trading in my car!
He was extremely friendly, helpful, responsive, and patient both during and after the trade-in process.
He has helped me select the right car that was within my budget and preference of the vehicle.
Although there was small issue with the car after I got it, he immediately assisted me to look into the issue and quickly resolved it.

We bought a used vehicle in the spring and part of the deal was replacing the chipped windshield. I understand everyone is busy and it takes time get parts in, but at this point they have stopped answering texts/calls/emails simply requesting an update. My last correspondence from them was in July, saying we would have the work done mid August for a vehicle purchased in May.
Disappointing to say the least.

We purchased Atlas from Yao He. We had a wonderful experience. Very professional and patient. We visited him twice. Both occasions he was willing to spend time with us and patientl explained how to work all the features

Purchased a used Toureg from them on May 24. Aug 14th car's warning "look at coolant" came on. Filled up coolant as advised by St James, didn't stop problem and car over heated so we had to parked it. Called them 3 times left 3 messages over a week no one called back. 4th call Receptionist rude told us they're very busy someone will get back to us when they have time. Tried contacting sales person no longer there, tried contacting finance person no longer there. 2 weeks later still no call. We eventually had to take car to another dealership needs new water pump a $1200 repair not even 3 months after purchase. BUYER BEWARE! They'll do a fabulous job selling you the car but good luck after.
Adding this for St James Volkswagen. The issue was not the fact the vehicle required repair nor the cost nor that we chose to not take the very expensive warranty as you offer nothing on your vehicles. The issue is the complete lack of service after purchase. We wanted to bring vehicle to you for repair as we bought it there. You ignored us and I'll mention still are as no call to this day.

Do not buy a vehicle from here. They sell damaged ones and will lie to you, they really don’t care.
