Sites are huge! Sadly, the one I was in, was sloped, but didn't stop the enjoyment of being there. Was nice to see they had a horse shoe pit (which I used) and I was impressed by the lake when I took my canoe out. It's great they have showers (hot days made them a must lol)

Relaxed family friendly atmosphere. The beach has nice soft sand and the entire swimming area does not get very deep. Little kids have a lot of shallow space in the water to run around.

We enjoyed camping here. They are large sites, that feel very private from your neighbours. The washrooms are clean. The hiking trails and the lake are very pretty. Lots of people were boating and swimming. Just be sure to grab some firewood from the vendor just outside the park, as there isn't any provided inside the park.

Even though it rained the entire time we were there, they had a nice picnic shelter we could be under.

Wifi signal is poor, bay 3 is the best campsite for tent camping. Beach is near, there is a modern washroom. Garbage area was clean. There are playgrounds for the kids. CLEAN PARKING. 5 STARS FOR ME, WILL GO BACK THERE

This a wonderful place.
Either set your RV and or tent up at your site. Then enjoy a stroll to the beach or hiking trails. But once you are there sit back have a refreshment of your choice and unwind. Relax, enjoy the moment

Loved this campground, was well maintained and a great experience! Put ALL your food away at night, we had a skunk visit in the early mornings! (Remember to bring a few loonies and toonies if you want to shower)

Clean but small beach, Clean washrooms and $2 and $1 for 6 min and 3min hot showers accordingly. Very polite staff.
No network coverage for many cellular networks, but that’s better.

I have been camping here since I was 5 years old and I still love it. There are many trails you can hike or bike bike. They have made upgrades to the camp in the last few years such a shower facilities, they lend out life jackets at the beach.

Really nice park and campground for south central Manitoba, the water isn’t the cleanest and there can be a bunch of boats stirring up waves, but for anyone within an hour of this place it is one of the best choices for a quick get away.

Fishing is on or off. Not a lot of big fish, tons of little perch that make it fun to show young ones the ropes.

This is a hidden gem of a campground. The reservoir is nice, good for kayaking (or canoeing, whatever you've got), and the hike/bike trails are nice. Well used, and for a good reason. There was plenty of wildlife to see, and the cell reception was slim to none (to me, that is a positive). The playground at the beach is well kept, but the beach was not the best. One complaint is about the weekend boat noise, but if you stay during the week, you shouldn't have to deal too much with that.

Very nice beach area. Small but clean lake and sand is good too. Realpy worth visiting this place in provincial park.

Stayed in a yurt and had the best experience. Super clean with bathrooms and showers close. The beach was really nice and also close to the yurts.

Camp sites are infested with ants hence the ground being turned over with very fine dust beach also is not very good its tiny and smells very bad too much mosquitoes and not very many thing to see overall very dissatisfied

Make sure you buy a provincial pass before going. We went 2 weekends ago, thinking I could buy a pass at the gate (like every other prov/fed park). But apparently their office hours mean nothing. There's a post saying buy your pass online, but you're extremely lucky to get data there.but don't worry, they aren't staffing the front office, but they are still employing plenty of staff to go around issuing tickets.

We were driving by and decided to take a look. We'll be back to camp for sure! Lots to do, even without a boat. On shore fishing spots. Designated beach. Off beach volleyball nets. Multiple play structures. Flush toilets. Picnic spots etc. Oh did I say tons of biking trails? Bring your mountain bike. Beautiful trails, ranging from easy to challenging.fun!

Nice place. Clean showers, washrooms and campsites. The beach was rather small but was shallow enough for younger kids.water was clear.

The hiking trail is great for parents with small ones as it was easy hike to.

There is a dam along one of the trail which is a nice feature but you'd be disappointed to go to if the overflow is closed.

A family friendly provincial beach. Great park to be close to a natural lake that is a short drive from Winnipeg. Good hiking trails as well.

Haven't been camping, but the sites seem nice and big. Multiple water taps around the park, water was clean and perfect for kayaking and swimming. Would definitely make a stop for camping.

The campsites are excellent, flat, large and private. The swimming isn't the best but the trails and park places for kids are top shelf!

Great place to camp! Very hard to get reception and internet though. What I love about the place is their well maintained washrooms There's a beach for the kids to enjoy as well as a big playground with lots of trees by the beach.

Some big campsites, which were great! The beach is a bit small but nice. The trails were also fun but hard to navigate as the trail signs are often difficult to find.

Also make sure to bring cash for firewood ($10) because the firewood vendor doesn't accept debit/credit and there's no ATM in the campsite itself. There is an ATM in the nearby town of Roseisle, about a 5 minute drive away.

The person who served me at the Sparks Drive Inn was extremely rude and short with me. I asked if they did cash back (so I could get firewood) and they said, "I'm not sure. " I asked if they could check with their manager and they just lied to me instead, apparently couldn't take 30 seconds to find out (?), saying "No, we don't do that here. " They also kept interrupting me, saying, "Is that all? " when I had additional questions about the menu options.

Nice spot for swimming, fishing, boating and trekking. Would have been nice if pets were allowed at the beach or had a separate dog beach

Amazing trails, privacy even when full campground. Nice beach. There was no power due to windstorm and it was off almost 24 hours. No washrooms open and most outhouses locked due to covid. Front office closed that day and no maps available. A definite problem! No cell service except for at beach.
05 July 2021 2:48
Very nice park. Beach is all, but lots of nice, easy trails to walk/hike around the park. We were there only for the day, but campsites looked spacious and private.

Beautiful Park (Provincial) and a hour and so from Winnipeg. Family friendly, clean washrooms, well maintained. We stayed in Yurt 1. Cozy, clean, organized, bunk beds (firm mattress), futon, dresser. Beach is child friendly, play structure, basketball court, hiking and bike trails, water sports, there's 2 boat launch, fishing by dam. Bring loonies or toonies for the shower. Fun for families. 4G network via Telus (slow).

It was awesome for ice fishing i have never gone during the summer but during the winter its fun because I have caught 14 perch in 10 minutes. Definitely recommend

Our experience at this camp ground was amazing! I took off 1 star because the road coming in was absolutely brutal (rumble strips, gravel, potholes). However we had the whole park to ourselves except one other camper on the other side of the park! It was amazing. We would not have had any privacy though if it was busy. A quick walk behind our campsite through a small field led to the lake. The sunset was gorgeous and we even got to rinse off in the water which wasn’t too cold. We will definitely be back next time we pass through!

Very good camping experience, not much if any cell service in the campsites but has nice walking trails and stuff for kids

Nice place for family and for hiking people! It’s closed for the summer but it’s very nice for hiking. It’s so beautiful!

The best park I have been to so far, has several trails, many modern and non-modern bathrooms that are clean and well maintained around the park, the shower water is very hot and is designed for the disabled, many beautiful landscapes, the camping is good, it could have more grass instead of stone for those going to camp with a tent, but I think it varies from spot, quiet place, the beach is beautiful, the sand is brown, but you can enjoy it a lot, there is a park in front that is great for children of all ages.the only thing though is that the phone signal doesn’t pick up, but if you go to the beach it works.there is a convenience store just outside the park.
