Great fishing spot for pike, rock bass in the creek. If you go closer to the mouth you can catch common carp and channel catfish. As well as lots of other species

There is an ancient Indian mound there. Once there were three but the city plowed them over as they didn't know what they were. Built by the mound makers.

Amazing calm park, suitable for families and calm walks. The best moment is the sunset I love being there when the sun turns yellow

There is plenty of room for all kinds of winter activities. Sledding, skating, snowshoeing etc. Lots of people young to seniors can go there and enjoy at their own pace.

This park is a little hidden gem in this city, I've taken so many great photos here. This is a little exhibit done by unknown artist spread throughout the park.

Sturgeon Creek Park is a great park to bike through. It's really beautiful. There is an "old mill" heritage area you can check out closer to the Grace Hospital section. Northeast of the Grace Hospital, they have winding walking & bike paths along the creek which connects with other bike pathways in the city. You can also veer off the pathways to explore some of the adjacent residential communities. Sometimes you'll see folks fishing in the creek -not sure what they're trying to catch, but there always seems to be someone there making the effort.

Peaceful - quiet - lots of Nature. However buzzkill when a strange woman criticized my off leashing my totally in control dog. She had no right to do so - there are people who do - she is not one of them.

A lovely place to relax and unwind from the pressures of the day. If you play Pokemon Go, or Wizards Unite, this is a decent place to visit if you can't get down to the larger venues like Assiniboine park.

Fantastic walking/bicycle trail along Sturgeon Creek. Paved path, public washroom available. Historic Grant's Old Mill located at Booth St and Portage Ave.
