Worst customer service does not provide water even at purchase. Do not respond to reception calls. Completely disrespectful

This is the kind of place you almost don't want to share about because it's that great. This business bends over backwards to make their guests feel at home and appreciated. Very family and kid friendly. I can't say enough good things. I'll just list the highlights: Staff were incredible. Breakfast was like a home cooked meal. Snack in the lobby. Kiddie pool and toys. Fun and friendliness was in the air. Outside patio with bbq. Rooms clean and new. Internet fast. Grounds well kept. I could go on.

We booked here while traveling through from Ontario to Alberta. The last time I stayed at a Super 8 hotel was years ago and it was mediocre at best. I must say, I was completely blown away by how nice this hotel was. Not to mention it is pet friendly and has very reasonable pet fees unlike some other hotels. This hotel was nicer than a lot of hotels I have stayed at in recent months/years. Rooms are nice, clean and spacious, continental was better than most, and staff was very friendly. Will definitely stay here again if ever passing through Winnipeg!

The staff were nice, and being near the highway was great. That being said, the room was really cramped and dirty. We also found the lamp habe a light bulb snapped off in the socket and the AC dripped. It was for 1 night so we tolerated it as we needed pet friendly, but it was shocking especially compared to Super 8 Regina. Not sure we would book again.

Very convenient location right by the Yellowhead Hwy. Made for a quick trip in the morning when we were driving across Canada. The customer service was exceptional as well! They had a treasure box that our son was able to pick a prize from. When it broke because of rough playing after the first night, they let him pick 2 more items to make him feel better. Rooms were very clean - highly recommended!

Wow this is an excellent hotel.spotless clean, free breakfast, staff are amazing lots of parking, close to everything. AND the art in the hotel is all local and it is amazing. Wonderful!

This place is the place to stay if you want no sleep whatsoever. The train station was loud outside. The construction was loud. You could hear guests in the hallway constantly and they were loud. The location sucks. The pool was closed which was the entire reason we booked here for kids to be able to swim. We ended up cramped up in our room trying to entertain bored kids and just overall stressed out. The front desk made rude remarks when I expressed concern that the pool was closed and we weren't notified. Will not be staying here again.

We ended up booking a different hotel for the following night, so our entire weekend consisted of sitting in a cramped up room with no pool, packing up and moving hotels. What a nightmare of an experience.

Was horrible night. Somebody thought it was a good idea to book a bunch of rooms for teenagers. They were fighting all night. I was shocked to see teens being put into cars by Winnipeg police, and they could barely walk, just let them drive away drunk. Who gave all these teenagers booze?

Very pleasant and respectful staff, love the free soup and the treats they gave my dog. And the breakfast is on point. Very appealing as you pull in, building glows. Will defiantly.be back! Haven't even gone to the pool or workout side but I'm sure its great, 10 out of 10 would recommend!

The people here are so nice. The room is way more than I expected.it is very clean and up to date. Love the fact that they have floors and not carpet. It is right on the Trans Canada so it is very convenient. The hot tub is large. And if you forget something, they GIVE it to you! Like deodorant.

Great hotel. Clean. Bit of a breakfast in the mornings. Didn't try it, but the pool looked nice and a small gym. Staff was friendly. Shower products smell nice also!

Love this place. The rooms are immaculate, clean, modern and very spacious. Free breakfast is also the best. The rel hero those is the management and staff. Had an issue with my credit card, allowed me to give a cash damage deposit instead even tho that's no longer a thing for them. Drove two solid days to get back to the city due to some family issues and I can't say enough how understanding and accommodating they were for me.

Literally the BEST super 8 I've ever stayed at. I cannot think of a single negative thing to say about my stay. The pool and hot tub were open until 10pm. Breakfast in the morning had scrambled egg patties, sausage, and waffles on top of the normal cold continental breakfast. Parking spaces were extra wide (super thoughtful when getting bags or luggage from a back seat) 100% would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Nice new building. Great staff and good breakfast. 50 inch tv is better than the 32s most hotels have.

This place perfectly suited our family of 6. While our kids are older (21,19,17 and 12) they still loved the jungle theme room! The air conditioning was fabulous. The room was clean and spacious. The front staff were super friendly and breakfast was. This is a great stop on the way across Canada and a great price! We would totally stay here again and would recommend it!

Our only concern was the shower “stall”. The design (half door style) allows a lot of water splashing all over the bathroom floor so we had to use towels effectively. A sliding door style would be more effective.

Nice place, new rooms, dog friendly, witch means lots of wet spots. Was on 4th floor.must be dog floor, dogs barking in a few rooms. Smoke alarm battery went dead at 2am, so beeping went on till I went down stairs to get desk clerk to change. Would stay again. Staff is friendly.

If I could rate this hotel 6 stars I would! After a 14 hour day of driving from Calgary with my wife, 2 children (1 and 4) and dog. We checked into the Marlborough in downtown Winnipeg only to find cigarette burns on the toilet seats to blood stains on the bed dresses. We promptly checked out and checked the Travelodge in East Winnipeg only to find they had no vacancy (luckily, once we read the reviews after). This hotel was our last resort. We were kindly greeted by Glenn, the front desk clerk and he gave us the last pet friendly room, told me where to order food (as we all went 8 hours without eating), and promptly checked us in. We ordered pizza to our room and one of the hotel staff brought us up plastic cutlery and napkins without us even asking! Our room was newly renovated and clean, there is a complimentary breakfast and 24 hour slushy machine, a nice pool and fitness center. Whenever my family and I come back to Winnipeg we are 100% going to stay here. Glenn, you are my family's hero! Thank you!

This was a lovely little Haven! The property was well kept, we were greeted pleasently. Things were well laid out and orderly. We were offered free slushys and informed of the free breakfast in the morning. Our room was very well decorated and had alot of great touches, like the soap, toilet paper and fancy folded towels. All these little things make you feel pampered and cared for. Breakfast was good, some hot items like egg patties with cheese inside and sausage patties. No gourmet food but not bad. Waffle maker, always fun. Well organized and kept stocked. Felt safe. Now the pool, was dirty all along the edges and the liner is ripped, needs attention. Lovely hot tub though. Could use some cleaning of chairs and carpets. Over all a great choice.

We have been traveling with our cat cross-country and it has been hard to find hotels that take cats. This Super 8 went beyond our needs for us and our cat, they even gave us a toy and treats for her. The staff at this hotel were amazing and the room was very nice. I love the interior design. Very clean and sanitary, and still have breakfast to enjoy in your room. Thank you so much!

This is the second time I have stayed here. It was very clean and covid 19 safe and the staff were very friendly and helpful!

Excellent service. Rooms are new and in good condition, very clean. Full hot breakfast in the morning, even during covid (served by a staff member, rather than buffet style, for safety). Great experience.

This is the only hotel we stay at in Winnipeg! We keep coming back because of the awesome service and friendly people we get there. We are always remembered and it’s like family.

We are always impressed! The people who work there are friendly and helpful. They even upgrade us frequently when possible because we stay there so often.

The rooms are very well maintained. The food is great. Covid has put a strain on serving food, but they go out of their way to provide service.

On previous visits with Covid, they have offered bag breakfasts. This last visit, they had Rosanne serving a hot breakfast. It was done Covid friendly from behind a glass. We appreciated that. Thanks Rosanne for the awesome and friendly service!

The hotel is just in the outskirts of the city and in an area where we have always felt “safe” — coming from a small town in Ontario. Lol.

We were there for a medical appointment and because of Covid, we ordered delivery and didn’t visit anywhere! The hotel let us have a late checkout because we couldn’t go anywhere in the city to wait till the appointment! We appreciated the extra time to be comfortable in the hotel.

The last time we flew into the city we arrived very late at night and they gave us late checkout as well. They are so accommodating!

Give this hotel a try! The people are awesome.

Friendly, courteous staff. Eager to help to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. Very clean, modern rooms. Even treats and toys for our pets when we checked in. Can't say enough good things. Made our stay very enjoyable and stress free.

The place is renovated and super clean. Such a pleasure to sleep and shower there after a long drive. My only complaint is the pillows; they are so thick and hard, and all of them are exactly the same. Difficult not to wake up due to that. Perhaps they can think on adding at least 1 thin pillow per bed.

Spent 3 days here recently and we were very impressed with everything from rooms to rate to pool to free breakfast and especially the staff. They couldn't have been nicer. Very clean and plenty of parking. It's a new hotel and well worth trying for yourself or guests visiting Winnipeg. Easy access just as you enter the city on Hwy 1 East. Lots of restaurants nearby. They even had bicycles you could take out.

Great staff. Accomodated our needs as much as they could during Covid. Breakfast noms were yummy. Had to get to the front desk early for best choice. Laundry area was kept clean.

Great place to stay. Michael was a total professional and pleasant to deal with. The room itself was nice and clean! I had a great night of sleep. Thank you!

I stayed for 5 nights at this Super 8 location and I was ecstatic with their great and helpful services that they provided for my family! The hotel is very clean and their staff are very helpful. The front desk man I believe his name was Joey was very accommodating to our stay and my kids loved him! Our room was constantly clean throughout our stay & I will recommend this hotel to everyone!

Staff were super nice. Bagged breakfast were delicious. Also did some laundry since I been on the road for awhile. Nice that it's right beside the highway. I travel alot so will stop again when I'm through again.

This hotel is awesome the staff are amazing very polite and happy to help you however they can. The rooms are very clean and visually appealing very quiet for a great night sleep. I have stayed in a few hotels in Winnipeg including the Hilton and Hyatt and in my opinion this is one of the best hotels I would 100% go to Super 8 Wyndham in Winnipeg if im ever back in the area. Loved my stay and i recommend this location if your in the area.

Excellent staff that go out of there way to help you have wonderful and safe stay.breakfasts are complimentary and staying in this super 8 west side is right by the highway #1 and easy access out of the city and into the city.also covid safe!

I'm here as a long stay guest during COVID-19, this is a very clean beautiful hotel. It has all the amenities you need. They have limited access to tings like the dining area, pool, and workout room because of the Government restrictions, but when these open up again I can say it would definitely earn the five star rating. With most hotels there is a continental breakfast and some nights they even have a supper or small gift bags. As for the rooms, you have a large LED HD TV with full Cable, Wireless Internet through out the hotel, an extremely comfortable bed with better quality towels plus linens compared to what most people have at home. There are walk in showers in the bathrooms and nice shampoo, conditioner and bodywash. Not those little bottles but large filled ones right in the shower area. Pets are allowed and there is also on site laundry for anyone that may need it.

My vehicle brokedown and I was stranded in Winnipeg. The staff at the hotel were absolutely fantastic! I had to stay 9 nights waiting for my car to be fixed but the staff made what was a bad situation much better!

The room was adequate. I liked the full size fridge and stove top they have in the rooms. However, our bathroom door would not close properly at all, making a private thing like using the bathroom a bit uncomfortable. The rooms do not have carpeted floors, resulting in no noise cancellation between floors (we had to hear every stomp from the floor above, whenever they would roll around with the office chair, it was quite annoying when it continued well into the night until at least 1: 30am. I don’t think I would come back to this hotel.

Stay somewhere else. Front desk won't help at all, 1 ice machine on the bottom floor, no iron in the room, the whole place smells of weed. 10$ more and stay at the Fairmont.
