Sushi Cushi

Their special rolls were not worth the price at all (~20$/roll and they were not good). Better just stick with the regular rolls. Don’t let those fancy descriptions fool you. For the special beef roll, I was hoping for a tender medium to medium rare beef but they were just really dry and overcooked. Nothing too special about the salmon rolls either. On another hand, the tempura udon was really good tho. 90$ish after tip and tax for 2p

Waited over two hours for food that we ordered a day ahead. You would think they’d be prepared since they had over a day to prepare for it but no, there was a huge line of people waiting for their food that they also ordered way head of time. It got to a point where people were upset and angry. Staff had no explanation. So unacceptable especially since it’s for an occasion.

Food is amazing at this place. It gets quite busy because of that, so you might be waiting for a table if you vome during peak. They have lots of great Vegan options.

Looks like it's great for rolls, I don't recommend the Nigiri or sashimi.probably not what people typically order.place was busy and lots if rolls on the tables

We got there around 6: 15pm and advised us waiting time up to 20 minutes and it was okay with us. The server was so rude as she wants us to wait outside because she said it was too hot already inside so so rude. Then we came back around 7: 17 because until that time no call from them she said we need to hurry to order because they are closing 730 and i was surprised because in the 1st place we did not receive a callback and then now you want us to order right away then the annoying part it was already 8pm are food is not even ready so i decided to say something and request to take out the food instead and let them know how Poor service they are.not coming back here. I understand that they’re busy and server told us will call us back but never did. And we came back there telling us they gonna close soon. Really terrible service and not recommended at all server is terrible too gave us bowl instead plates for sushi. Unbelievable and terrible service server racist and rude. They will for sure loose lots of customer because of her.

This has been the worst experience we have ever had at a restaurant, we come here often, we typically enjoy the food the service is always a little rough but food is normally good. But this time was different, the waitress was very rude at the get go and to top it off we had found an inch size bone in the sushi. My friend almost chocked on it and we had a toddler with us. This could have been a more serious situation if the toddler was the one to find it. We showed them the bone and they proceeded to try and tell us which roll it came out from so they could take it off the bill. They chose the smallest roll because it was the cheapest even tho we showed them which one it exactly came from. They refused to speak to us with us respect or apologize, it was a terrible experience. He even tried to raise his voice to make it seem like we were attacking him. I will never come back, and I will never ever recommend them.

Excellent choice for vegetarian sushi. My sister-in-law had tempura and she loved it. My wife and I selected all of the vegetarian options and we enjoyed them thoroughly. We will definitely go back.

They cook quickly. They have delicious sushi. Pleasant prices. Polite staff. Thank you, it left a lot of pleasure, I recommend it.

Ordered after reading the good reviews and unfortunately it was the worst sushi I’ve ever had in my life…The rice was crispy either not well cooked or old one of the two. The rolls were not properly rolled and would break every time we tried to eat. The shrimp had shell residues in the roll… the soya came in small bag packs and was so salty non edible. The ginger tasted like plastic, not exaggerating. I do not recommend for take-out.

Very pleasant lunch. Quite busy for a Tuesday noon, so we're not alone in enjoying it. Staff were pleasant, quick, and attentive. Couldn't ask for more.

Their Happy Mouth roll is one of the most accurate names ever! I honestly haven't had anything here that wasn't good. The staff is always quick and friendly. Oh, and it is licensed too!

The food is always amazing, the service is quick since you just fill out a sheet with your order

What can I say, it's the only place we keep coming back to for sushi in Winnipeg. Always amazing, great selection, and wonderful atmosphere. It's also the best place for takeout sushi in Winnipeg!

Great sushi. I have been here several times and this is the place to go for sushi. Rolls are a good size and the vegetable tempura is very good. Great service and clean restaurant.

Place was clean, had lots of parking and friendly staff. I ordered the gyoza, smoked salmon, happy mouth roll, and the blue ocean roll.

Sushi is fairly priced. Tastes delicious. It has always been busy when we came to visit but service is prompt.

Came here for dinner. Our server was incredibly rude, as was the host at the front register. I would have liked to keep a menu on the table incase we decided to order more but she just grabbed it from my hand, and then stuck it back in my face after I told her I want to keep one menu for now. They didn't give is enough glasses of water also. We ordered all special sushi rolls and they were all so mediocre. Nothing special about any other the 9 rolls we got. They lacked flavour and some of them even tasted off.
Our sashimi pieces were so thin also. I honestly don't see anything about this place that would reflect the rating it has now (4.4), but there are definitely other sushi restaurants that have better tasting rolls and no rude servers like the ones we experienced today.
It's called Hospitality for a reason.

Best bang for your buck sushi place in Winnipeg. There are a few places some would consider better, but they come at higher costs. The 'shut up salmon' roll is a highlight for my family.

Got in early so it wasn't very busy. By the time we left there was a lineup. Great service. Food was very well prepared and presented. The "Veggie Caterpillar" was extremely cute.

Food always great. Lots of take away tonight which may have contributed to less attentive service.

I absolutely love this place! I find the fish to rice ratio on the rolls perfect (not a bunch of rice with minimal fill like many others). They are also very consistent with their product and it is always delicious!

Delicious flavors at a reasonable price, the service time is acceptable and the attention is very good.

Definitely goes on my favorites list and we will be back soon

Took my family of 5 plus 3 others here for a dinner, and oh boy was it ever delicious! They have lots of rolls to choose from (as well as non sushi options if that's your thing). Everything was fairly priced and super fresh.
They have something for everyone! Highly recommend checking them out, you won't regret it

We came right before closing and they accommodated us! This place is always busy! Quick friendly service and clean. We ordered salmon sashimi, number of rolls, takoyaki, agedeshi, tempura. Never disappoints!

Food was great. Didn't dine in. But the place is cozy for a party of 2 or for a party of 8.

Got takeout for dinner, sushi rolls made both of us sick. Couldn't finish it, so leftovers went in the trash.
