T & T Seeds

Our household has purchased seeds from T&T for the last few years. Unfortunately this last year was a bad experience.
I pre purchased garlic seed as soon as available online. The quality was questionable, but because I was newer to growing garlic I started cracking the bulbs to plant, but because of the quality I though I should reach out to garlic growers online as well as in person. They advised do not plant that they look like they contained mites, as well as were of poor quality. They also advised to return because any reputable company would give a refund.
T&T said because I cracked the bulbs they couldn’t tell that I don’t plant any “which I didn’t, from advice of garlic experts” and return them all. T&T only gave a partial return.

Pictured below are examples of the garlic received. The brown bag picture was one I still had not cracked and indicative of every bag. Sorted from very soft to semi soft. No bulbs were what I would consider hard.

They advised me that the seed was good and, basically alluded to that I was overreacting.

Service is top notch! Such a pleasant place from which to order and also in which to spend time dreaming about next year's garden!

I ordered two pear trees in May 2023. When the trees arrived the roots were dry as well as the tree and there were nop buds on the tree. On June 6,2023 I sent an email and was told to wait six weeks from planting. I did and emailed again. I am requesting a refund from these two trees

Generous seed packets with the best growing instructions! Vigorous plants with either lots of flowers or lots of produce.

Visiting off-season, there wasn't a lot of stuff out on display, but the staff were great and grabbed me a bunch of stuff from the back. I will definitely plan on going back next time I am in town!

I used to pass this place & never stopped. Wonderful doesn’t begin to describe their products! All their products are formulated for zone 3, the Prairie Provinces! It doesn’t get better than that.

I am very impressed with the produce quality from the vegetable seeds produced. Five stars!

T & T Seeds is SUPER FAST.
Three days from ordering, to having my parcel in my hands. Everything was 100% Accurate. Perfect timing, too. I have also noticed that I had practically 100% germination with my seeds. Whaaaaa? Yup. ‘Can’t prove it, but boy oh boy if you saw my garden, you’d bet it was true!

Have been ordering from T&T seeds for 4 years now. I live in Ontario and the seeds are good value and good germination. I’ve only ordered bare root strawberries as live plants and it comes well packaged and good condition.
Whenever I had to email customer service, the replies are prompt and professional. They resolve issues very quickly.
The catalogue is very detailed and has a great selection.
The website can be updated and it would be great to have a wishlist or favourite function. Not sure if it’s within their control but it would be helpful to have more pictures and plant descriptions. Otherwise, it’s easy to use and has a wide range of seed volumes to purchase.

Despite not living in Manitoba, I order my seeds and perennials from T&T. It's so much easier not to worry if they'll grow in my zone. And everything I've purchased has taken (unlike box stores). Delivery is quick and very well packaged.

I had wonderful service from T&T Seeds on a seed order, especially when needing a replacement for one item. They followed through with very prompt attention, keeping me informed along the way of its shipping.
I have worked in a similarly large horticulture business handling a multitude of product variation and quantity; I was impressed.

First yime buying from T&T Seeds. I bought a bareroot rose and peonies at the end of June when it was on sale. I was a little worried about the timing but it was too good of a deal to pass up. Its been almost 4 weeks planted in a heatwave and yes, I did have to baby the plants daily but they all came up and so far doing well. The peony roots are quite large, the Itoh variety has 7 eyes sprouted and the regular one has 4 shoots. I was pleasantly surprised as I had purchased bareroot peonies before from another big online seller and it was puny. The rose had many stems and big roots, it has also developed buds on all viable stems. Very happy with the quality of the plants.

I have always been pleased with the seeds, roots and products I have purchased over the years from T&T Seeds. Whenever there has been a problem, they have been willing to resolve it. They are also very good about answering questions. I have been a loyal customer for almost 30 years and will continue to be in the future.

Five stars and two thumbs up! After one of their competitors arrogantly quoted $100 for a tree sapling from a limited selection, plus $175 for planting services, I went to T&T Seeds. Cameron and Izzy recommended a particular maple. It looked like a leafless 4 foot stick. They fully explained the hibernation process used (that explained the cost), how to prepare it for planting (super easy), initial care, gave me free fertilizer, and assured me it would grow leaves in about 6 weeks. All this for $15. Including tax. And a warranty. For that kind of savings with knowledgeable, friendly service, I can wait a few weeks for leaves!

I buy a couple of hanging baskets for my mom for Mother’s Day every year. Staff is very friendly too, nice girls at the till with friendly smiles! Other than that, and I realize they are a pet friendly company where you can bring your pets in and let them shop with you, but while I was shopping today, a big dog came out of nowhere and ran at me while growling. One of the girls from the till shooed him away and apologized and said it was the owners dog, but all in all it was very startling. Friendly or not, it’s important to keep pets on a leash while in a store at the very least. Not everyone is a dog person!

I'm always so pleased with the bare root stock I get every year, T&T has a life long friend

I am so frustrated with this company. I placed an order on April 19th and it is now May 29th. No order. I called a few times to ask why I had not received a tracking email yet. Even customer service didn't know it was being held because one item wasn't available until about the third time I called. It did not say it was unavailable online when I placed my order. Over $600 was taken off my credit card and I have received nothing.

This place has gone so downhill that I doubt I will ever be back. No help No prices on anything and then when we went to the till to pay the young girl asked if we found everything and we said no and what the issue was she never asked if she could help, I don’t think they will be around much longer

Terrible communication!
I did not receive part of my order but get automated replies to emails and can’t get through on the phone

I'll continue to buy seeds and seedlings from them, but as only 1 of 3 dahlia tubers were good, I won't buy root product from them in the future.

No response from customer service.

DO NOT BUY ONLINE! Unless you want to wait over a month for your order and with a bonus of a 2 weeks waiting period for an email reply that tells you to wait.
Never again.

To your reply: I ordered on April 15th because we have a greenhouse, on May 1st I sent an email asking for an update, Jennifer replied: Next week or so. On May 14th I resent an email and today May 19th, still no reply or shipped order.
Yet, you can reply here on Google?

I like to order from t&t but am getting tired of the freight charges just ridiculous for getting a few packs of seeds sent. I will be checking on other seed companies. Seems every year freight rates are going up. Very disappointed.

Five seeds echinacea in a packet, only 2 grew. Reached out for customer service, it's all my fault, too bad so sad. You do know that some echinacea seeds are sterile? Most seed companies come good for bad seeds. You owe me three seeds T AND T.
