Food is very good. The wings and burgers are on point. Servers are very good at what the do as well. This is a large tavern. Tons of room for large groups. This place has tons of big TV's so you can watch the big game. Just a great tavern.

I havent had much food from there, tonught i ordered nachos to go and they were excellent! Layered perfectly. Would recomned and def order again

So I usually love coming here, I used with my GF quite often, we hadn’t been in awhile so decided to come this evening…. Hostess was terrible at her job, told us we couldn’t sit in a booth because none were available, which wasn’t true… so we switched to the booth we originally asked for… our waitress was terrible, almost rude… my drink I ordered tasted like whisky and water… she said that’s how it always tastes…. Again not true as the old bartender made them perfect… so yeah rude waitress, bad bartender, bad hostess… won’t be coming back, what a shame.

Took them over 45 minutes to bring out a deepfried cheesecake and there was no apology once it arrived

Nice & Clean place. Good food. Servers are very hospitable. Serving time is somewhere between 15-20 mins during normal hours and 30 mins during rush hour. Which is not bad.

We had a great experience previously and were eager to go back, but this time round the service wasn’t as good. It was very quiet and there were almost as many staff as guests, but they were all chatting together and didn’t seem to be terribly attentive. Once we got our servers attention, they were really friendly and professional though. I’m pretty sure our Haddock fish was actually cod, and it was quite chewy and overcooked. Better than undercooked I suppose. We will return as we like the large space and that it’s not too busy, and we won’t judge based on one poor experience when we had a really good experience prior.

I go there all the time and never get I'd and I bring my buddy's younger cuz and we have no problem and today we go and we get id this is not right

Absolute WORST service EVER! My Diet Pepsi tasted like “dish water”. My fiancé ordered a glass of wine- it was warm. Server indicated that “lots of people have complained about our drinks”. It took almost 30 minutes to get our food. Plates were all messed up. Overall just a terrible experience. Won’t be going back.

Slowest service. Waited half an hour for drinks and a person at our table didn't even get their drink. Isn't the first time, seems bad service is the norm here.

It took nearly 25 min to get our first round of drinks for our group of 18.1 server serving our group with 3 or 4 bartenders working the bar. The place was not busy at all, and had several other servers standing around the bar appearing to not be doing much. We had all planned on drinks and food, but promptly left and went to a different establishment where I can promise you the server (s) made very good money! That is our last time to TU!

Ordered 100.00 worth of food. Food arrived at table at 8: 52. Was told minors wernt allowed in past 9pm. Had 8 minutes to eat the food.not possible. Was then offered to have boxes. Great.would of been nice to know prior to ordering food. Definitely would of went somewhere else if we had been told that and this review wouldn't even be here.but we wernt even given that choice. Bad communication and service.

I’m giving a 4 stars when I may have gone 3 before this evening. I just moved to this area and am looking for a watering hole so to say. This is my third time here. The food is really tasty. Burgers are great fries are great. Service seemed to be lacking on my first two visits. Third times a charm? I had the pleasure of being served by a young lady by the name of Ryin. She was prompt and friendly. Made me feel very comfortable sitting by myself on the patio watching the Bomber game. She bumped my rating up a full star. Drink specials are decent, the patio is huge and has two sides to it. All different types of tables inside. And again, the food is very tasty!

Tables were very dirty, could tell they hadn't been cleaned more than a wipe in some time.food was expensive for what we had. Would not recommend

Visited on 2nd Oct 2024 for the first time. The attendant at the reception informed that the place is already booked for an event. So I asked if still anything is possible and her tone turned aggressive and racist and felt insulted in front of friends. Left the place immediately and decided to not visit again. Forgot to read the name of the attendant in anger else would have posted it here.

Tried to come out for a drink for our anniversary. We came early and there were around 5 other groups in there all with drinks, but the server came over and said they were closed already and refused to serve us. Really disappointed!

However, when we did get in for food, the meal was good - everyone found something they liked and the portions were huge. Server had a great sense of humour too. Food =4 stars, bar = 2 stars.

We went for my sister's 75th birthday. The food was excellent and the service was exceptional. So happy they have a great keto menu?

Was seated for 25 minutes and not a single staff person visited the table. When I walked out to leave, wasn't even acknowledged by the three staff that were loitering at the bar the entire time I was there. Very sad.

Hostess was nice, got us drinks and informed us that server would be right over. 45 minutes no server, paid up and left.

Omg what an awful experience. Our server (Brook I think was her name) said she was fairly knew, which I totally get. I have no problem being more patient while someone is still learning. What I have a problem with is someone that thinks it's acceptable to be rude to a customer. I told her I wanted a vegan quesidilla with the vegan chicken (which is on the menu) and she became rude and stand offish. Saying "chicken isn't vegan" and "cheese isn't vegan". Like yes honey, I know. I've been vegan for over 3 years, I know the difference between animal meat and a vegan mock meat option. Made me feel ridiculous  and judged for what I wanted to order. After trying to explain to her that the vegan quesidilla is on the menu and  I've had it here before, I gave up trying to explain what I wanted and settled for the Where's the beef burger. Anyways please teach your servers more about dietary restrictions before throwing them on the floor to make people feel ridiculous for their food  choices.

Great service, Sabrina was amazing. It was a busy wing night and she was on top of our order and everything was perfect. She checked in on us reguand was beyond polite! Will for sure be back!

Terrible service! We waited for our bills for over an hour. They even made a mistake on the bill which took them forever to change. The manager was having drinks with the other employees and the server took her sweet time to come around

I’ve never been disappointed with my food or customer service at this location.
A little while back, my friends and I had a horrible experience at another restaurant and came to the Tav instead. When we mentioned to our waitress what had happened, she brought us each a shot on the house and was extremely friendly. She was also a very kind waitress who took great care of us

Hours online and at the door are incorrect. We went at 2: 30 in the afternoon but it was closed All is open Covid wise but Tavern is late to the game. Disappointing so we went to a competitor instead.

Zero stars if it had it. Take out order.
Food was horrible for a basic item, did not get our complete meal. (fries were missing) Speedway dog with chili ($3.49 and received 1 cold hard spoon of chili - you get more from Tims) Cheese was not even melted and one order of jalepenos on the dog was missing.
Entire order was cold!
The kitchen cook should be embarrassed for letting the meal out of the kitchen.
For the amount of money we spent I expect a decent meal!

The waitress was okay, but she forgot to give me cutlery for my salad and a takeout box when I asked. I still tipped her because I understand some people are still adjusting back to their jobs at these times, but it could have been better.

Went there for a celebration supper on May 8/2021. The service was BAD. There was only 7 of us. The waitress took forever to acknowledge us when we first got there, then she was horrible for keeping drinks topped up, and there was only a couple who were actually having alcohol. We arrived around 730pm and did not receive our food until after 9. We waited an hour for our food. The tavern part was not busy at all, only like 15-20 people. And there was more than enough waitresses to serve everyone. And when we got our food it was mostly cold. Then she could not break up our bills like we asked her to. Had to repeat myself 10 times b4 I said all one bill.
We will never go back.

Food was delicious. Service was excellent, so was wait time. Some food wasn't hot but won't complain just made not self.please ask to serve as ready don't wait till everything is ready.

Maybe food is better when you get to eat in but when you have to eat it from a box it shouldn’t mean the quality of food diminish this badly.

Open with the covid restrictions. Not a bad place to spend your money. Staff is friendly. Guiness on tap, hopefully past St Patrick's Day.

Never ordering again! The food got me sick. The buffalo chicken poutine I ordered was literally floating in oil. Have never seen so much oil in any dish. And don’t even get me started on the chicken wings flavourings. Usually if you choose a flavour or sauce, the wings should be slathered in sauce and should be juicy. Sprinkling some kind of fake flavouring on top is just ridiculous. Here I was waiting for my wings to be juicy and slathered in mango habanero sauce, and I end up getting dry wings sprinkled with some kind of flavoured powder that didn’t taste like anything waste of money

We been going there often and love the wing nights. The staff and manager do such a great job, sad its closed to the public now due to covid but will be taking advantage of order pick up. Looking forward to going back once restrictions are lifted.

Wings were to die for.they seemed super good job of making the rules work while still.doing business.

Food was very good but the Manager was better and made our experience very enjoyable. Would go back again.

We had a quick beer and bite at the Tavern United Regent, we sat on the patio. Some customer went to smoke, or vape i guess, and just stood outside the patio in front of the main doors, and the grape vape went right into our lungs. Not cool. We left before finishing our meals. I thought there was a minimum distance smokers had to keep away. We don't smoke.

I had an amazing experience. Jerica made our experience so good, she was knowledgeable about the menu and was so attentive the entire time. She was the best server ever and I’ll be back just because of her! Thanks Jerica!

Very nice atmosphere, great wings for a decent price on Wednesday- wing night. Fast, friendly service.

Stayed in the hotel connected to this bar for work, ate their for a full 6 days. During this time all the waitresses and weighters I delt with were extreamly friendly, the spot was always clean. The food was good along with a great atmosphere.

Had lunch at Tavern United on Regent Saturday afternoon. The restaurant is huge. Greeted immediately at the hostess stand and given our choice of tables. Nice, big booth. Since it was our “Burger Saturday” we ordered the TU double smashed cheeseburger which is super delicious. Our food arrived very quickly. The beef was cooked perfectly and American cheese makes it the best. Great steak fries too. Our server was awesome, very sweet with the right level of service. Perfect lunch!

It was a great time. Drinks are good and have good deals. Paige was a Manager that introduced herself and made the visit awesome.

I have to admit that I was very mean to the waitress last night but it was out of total frustration. We placed our order prior to 6pm (happy hour specials on food and drinks) and confirmed the prices. However when the bills arrived, we were charged regular price. It was because it was keyed in 2 minutes past 6. They did correct a meal down but not the drinks. That waitress should have called the manager over and have this corrected. In addition they forgot half of my meal of which came half way though dinner after requesting it. I think management should have stepped in and corrected this prior to my posting online.

We came to watch football on American Thanksgiving. We gave them days warning that a large, well paying group of us were coming and they didnt care. They didnt even want to put the volume on the TVs for us. They went out of their way to make us feel like we should've gone elsewhere.

Service was alright, food was not great. I understand it's pub food, but I felt it wasn't as good as comparable restaurants. It's a really big space, so it's great if you're getting together with a lot of people. All in all I'd say a food meeting place for drinks if you skip the food.

Grew up drinking at the Oak/Buffalo Bill's by Canada Inns. This is a trip down memory lane. Great comfort pub food. Full of familiar faces

Great atmosphere, food, staff and drinks selection really enjoyed my time here. Our waitress was very polite and consistent in checking on us.felt very looked after and would highly recommend Tavern for anyone for pool great drinks and really tasty food. Keep it up Tav! Thanks again!

The food was good. The service was good. What was really great was the acoustics. The place was designed to absorb sound which made for a great group setting.

I got drunk here last year. Excellent place. Great staff. They called me a cab. I ended up in Selkirk the next morning? Hahaha

Good spot to eat and have a get together with friends. Lots of tv screens and you can play pool game.

Always a good time. TV’s everywhere for when the game is on! Shoot some pool and order some nachos. Wash it down with several beers and you’ll become a regular. No downside to this place. Wings are awesome too.

Service is incredibly poor. More interested in socializing with co workers than serving customers. It wasn't even inconvenient for them since we were sitted at the bar. Just lazy.

Forgotten garnish in drinks. Food delivered with no cutlery.and thats when the place was empty.

Here with a table of 12 people and the place half full.the service is still terrible. Were aitting at the big party table.our server comes around once every half hour and only takes drink.orders from 2-4 people and disappears again.

Eating here for 7 weeks for CN Conductor training and the food never gets old!:) Service is also incredible!

Service on a weekday at 4 PM was very slow (over an hour to get food). The walleye wings are a great concept, but mine were underseasoned.

Didn't expect much, wasn't disappointed. Biggest negative was how long it took to get food to the table as it was only half full. My edamame took forever while a quesadilla came out quickly.

Was at the tavern Thursday for wing night and the service was TERRIBLE. Our waitress was awful, wouldn’t even look at us and everything coming out of her mouth was just miserable. Short, black hair with glasses. Can’t complain about the food though, the wings were perfect. But honestly why keep a waitress like that?

Food isn't great. By the decor you would expect decent food.when we travel to the states places like this have amazing food and service.

Nothing but unsatisfactory service at this location. A bunch of us came to have a good time, couple rounds of pool and maybe a bite to eat. We were giving food menus at the door and that was the last we saw of any employee working in that place. We were playing pool the whole time and not one Person came to check up on us, ask us for drinks or food or see if we were okay. We were forced to walk to the bar every time we wanted a drink and not one server came to clear away our empty bottles. This lasted 2 hours on a SATURDAY night! I asked the bartender why there was no one coming to take our food orders or check up on our drink situation and he explained that we much request a server too look after us? !? ! WHAT?
Definitely not happy!
