Thai Express Restaurant Winnipeg

I have been hesitant to eat here but been in loved with Thai Restaurant in downtown so I thought why not try it today. Ordered general thai chicken, paid a little over $20 with a bottle of water. My breaded chicken was dry and rice was undercooked and lumpy. Felt like everything was tossed and cooked for less than a minute. I was not able to finish the plate. I wish they can improve their food here, I cant imagine the cost to operate this place in a nice and high end area of Tuxedo.

Ordered green curry spicy and absolutely had no spice or flavor. Tasted like baby food. Gross. This is not Thai food.

I love this place so much. I get the same thing pretty much every time so they always know what to make for me when i walk in! They’re very sweet, respectful and make any accommodations when it comes to substituting foods (i’m vegan). I recommend this place to everyone!

Best place to go if you want to get judged the minute you walk in. The guy that works there will do his best to judge you. Went there to pickup an order and it wasn’t busy at all. And he picks up the items to cook and runs to the tablet to see when’s the pickup time. And he decides not to cook it since its not yet time and tells his coworker not to work on the order bc I’m early. Such a considerate guy:/

AMAZING RESTAURANT! The owner was so nice and had an amazing personality! Not only the food is amazing, but all of staffs are friendly and helpful too!

This place is not as busy as the other location, not huge line ups. Easy to order, had a Thai soup, good food during my road trip:)

This is a nice restaurant that doesn't have to endure the hustle and bustle of the food court. Taste good pad Thai set and they have more options on the other side.

The food here is not too expensive but very good quality, I didn't eat all of a meal, because it was quite a lot, the restaurant has a large parking lot, the service is friendly to customers.

I walked up to the counter to order, the 2 guys working just walked away from me.
This place will never see me walk up again.

3 stars for the poor value of the food relative to other locations in Winnipeg.
Further lowered to 1 star for poor staff experience; an entire meal in our order was forgotten, we received the incorrect protein for one of the meals, and the cashier who constantly has AirPods on could not be more disinterested in helping the customers. Will definitely avoid going forward.

We ordered meals to employees of the company, on the phone the day before. Very well packaged and unexpected desserts. I think it's cheaper than app.

Rare stand-alone restaurant at Thai express that distinguishes itself from the hustle and bustle of a food court. You can sit down and eat some food quietly, and there is music. Will come again next time.

The worst fast Thai food I've ever had. The guy threw it in the Wok for maybe 6 seconds, I thought that seemed fast based on having Thai Express at another location before, but I assumed he knew what he was doing, I was wrong. All the veggies were totally raw, raw onions, raw carrots, the potatoes might be par boiled, but they were still hard and undercooked which is gross. Thankfully the chicken is pre-cooked otherwise I would have probably gotten sick. I ate a few bites and had to toss it. A waste of $14. Dishes are cheaper at my local Thai restaurant, and so much better.

We ordered before going there and meal was ready. I tried vegan fried rice with medium spicy level it was good but not as much spicy as I was expecting as there will be pineapple in that fried rice.

Each time on a business trip, this is always a location that I must visit.food is always consistent. Staff are always friendly. Store is always clean.
