This was by far the best shopping experience I've ever had. The staff were all so friendly, offered drinks, gave my son a balloon, a stuffed animal, had events going on inside for kids, and free hot dogs out side! The staff were knowledgeable and I was surprised how quick and smooth everything was. The staff got us a deal, as well as told us about upcoming sale events since we are looking to buy a couch. I am super pleased and would give an extra star if I could just to emphasize the good experience that I had here.

I checked out The Brick in Winnipeg, Manitoba at the St. James location looking for a sofa bed and coffee table that pulls out. I had the luxury of being served by Christine as she answered my millions of questions and accommodated every need. The prices are amazing, the staff is friendly (Herry was super friendly), and I am going home with both the items I wanted! 0% interest for 6 months and I get to pay whenever I want instead of automated payments. About a month ago while shopping online for new appliances for our cottage, we found a GE cooktop at the same very good price at two of the large Winnipeg appliance dealers. Unfortunately, we started with the other store. I spent an entire afternoon on the phone with them trying to arrange the purchase. There was always some problem or another that the sales person would have to take to his manager and on more than one occasion he said he would call me right back. None of these calls were ever returned and I had to call him back each time. Ultimately the store closed for the day and I gave up. Never have I had such a bad customer service experience.

I then called The Brick knowing there was only about half an hour left in their business day and spoke with a woman by the name of Gemma. Gemma was knowledgeable, fast and efficient, and we had the purchase completed in short order. My experience with her was the complete opposite of that with the other store. She and The Brick have my business from now on.

We bought a marble-look round coffee table and we love it! Gemma took really good care of us while we were at the store. She showed us different options until we made a decision. Thank you Gemma!

We had a terrific experience working with Joyce Edwards at the St James location to purchase our new living room furniture. She was super helpful and guided us through our decisions. We knew we would have to wait for delivery and we’re ok to do so. Once delivery times were set, communication from The Brick was efficient and clear via email. Delivery was quick and clean and the two man delivery team were friendly and courteous. Once the furniture was in our space, I realized that it was too big for our space. I had purchased two chairs, but the space was large enough for only one. I immediately contacted the customer service via chat to return one of the chairs. In the meantime I noticed the chair I was returning was damaged.

This is where my customer service experience faltered. I had requested a refund for the chair I was returning only to be told that a store credit was my only option. The reason was due to Covid policies. Apparently only wrapped furniture may be returned for refund, however, Covid policies indicate that the items are unwrapped on the truck. Confusing to say the least. I spent a significant amount of time trying to sort out a pick up date subsequently arranged for one week later. Once the piece was picked up, I received zero communication from The Brick confirming the same. I had no idea if I had a store credit or if the piece was returned successfully. It was only after I contacted the store trying to contact a manager by the name of Andy Isaac. Unfortunately, I was unable to do so but happen to connect with the store’s Customer Service Manager Sisika. She was amazingly helpful and was able to process my refund immediately. Without her assistance I would still be waiting. Thank you Siska for being so willingly and able to help.

Overall I am happy with the service and quality of products from The Brick. I have purchased several appliances and now furniture pieces from The Brick. Had the online customer servicing, the store policies and refund/credit options and the communication after pick up been better tuned, my rating would have been 5 stars. Regardless, I would look to purchase from The Brick again.

The environment at the bricks is very friendly and welcoming. Always trying to help. My good friend Vijay helped me a lot with a couple of products and had a good time here. I suggest shopping from here

This has to be one of the worst places to buy furniture. They do not honour their warranty and forced an in store credit on me with an expiry date. Used the credit to purchase an appliance but it needs to be validated by their head office and this was on a Thursday. Said it would be ready by next Wednesday and I should receive a call. Nothing from them. I decided to follow up and tried calling them 6 times selection different options in their menu but no one answers. It’s ridiculous. Do not shop her unless you want to be mistreated.

We had a great experience dealing with Sanchit. He was very informative and helpful in helping us choose a mattress, box spring and washing machine. I would highly recommend him. Thank you Sanchit for all your help and we will be back for the dryer!

I highly recommend asking for Gabriel when you are furniture shopping with the brick because he was outstanding from start to finish. Helped with every, was courteous throughout even though I was going back and forth on a few things. Even let me know after the fact that the item I bought was now on sale for Black Friday and he got me the difference refunded. Fantastic service from start to finish.

My parents and I had a great experience here thanks to Gemma who was helping us! It was a fairly quick and easy process as she explained everything in simple matters.

Palak Ahluwalia was extremely knowledgeable in regards to the best mattress suited for my wife’s hip pain issues. He was very honest, patient and friendly. He was a great help and we will definitely be back in the near future to purchase new appliances from him.

Typically furniture store, nothing spectacular to report. They do alot of advertising, always have sales, but have never ever found any killer deals. They do however tend to have more stock than other stores

These people don't even deserve 1star! Where do I begin? Mid June I went to their outlet and picked out a beautiful left facing sectional, ordered for pickup in July, pick up day was the start to whole disaster.hours posted on their door doesn't match the hours online! ALMOST missed the pick up.when finally assembling the sectional, I realized that the wrong pieces where loaded, I had TWO right facing arm chaises, 1ST WRONG CONFIGURATION.called customer service, lady on the phone asked for proof and pics to be sent to an email, LONG STORY SHORT, they came to my home to deliver "supposedly" right pieces, 2ND WRONG CONFIGURATION WAS LOADED AGAIN.another call to customer service.one week later 3RD WRONG CONFIGURATION AGAIN.on this 3rd time the "right piece" that they sent came broken, the hinges on the pull out bed was broken.at this point I was no longer interested in having another failed delivery at my house. I went instore to speak to someone. TELL ME WHY THIS MANAGER IS TELLING ME I CANNOT RETURN THE PIECES CAUSE THEY HAVE NO RETURN POLICY! LOL AND BEING ADAMANT THAT THIS TIME AROUND THEY WILL ENSURE THAT IM GETTING THE RIGHT PIECES.this review is sooo lengthy, cause sooo many incidents occurred and I'm just so baffled at this point. LONG STORY SHORT AGAIN.drivers finally came to pick up the pieces and a return was supposed to be made so I can be refunded. ITS SEPTEMBER and I had to be the one to call them to know the status of my file. TELL ME WHY THEY ARE YET TO PROCESS MY RETURN? I was told someone forgot to finish the paperwork.drivers came 3 weeks ago to pick up the pieces.and I've been left without a couch.

To the employees I encountered: Cathy, kyra, peggy, Bhupi, I'm sure you are all great people.but wow what a joke it has been dealing with y'all on this case.not helpful in any capacity.
