The Garrick

I always love going to the Garrick. The live sound mixing is great, though I wish their booking agents would look towards the Twin Cities for more rap and RnB style acts. Don’t get me wrong, I love the metal shows but I wanna hear more kinds of acts grace this stage!

This place always has below to average sound quality and is often blisteringly loud.they tend to get a lot of good acts though.

This was my first time attending this venue. Nice atmosphere for the concert. Seating was comfortable, sound was great and had no problems seeing the stage despite the crowd on the lower level. Parking was no problem as we got downtown early as there was a hockey game the same nite.

Jay and Dan was fun but park a street away and have somebody break your window on Ellis. Not so fun. Let's just say not an ideal location

Great venue. Expensive drinks but i dont drink so that doesn't effect me. Sticky floors but that's expected at a live show. Comfy seats if you want to sit back and relax during a concert.

Disorganized. No trsust worhty entrance for tickets. Garett theather has no set up for anyone that paid money to see a performance. You may get a good slectation if you show early or you may get kicked out for false accusation. Either way, excellent rappers or concrete names.perform

Great place to see a concert. The sloped floor will hurt your back if you stand in one place for too long so jump around and have a good time.

Staff is nice, shows are small and less stressful but it is incredibly hot in there. Expect to sweat.

I attended one of my bests shows here (Periphery, Covet, etc). A nice concert place. The sound quality is good and there are places to sit if you don't want to stand.

This place is pretty good. We saw two live bands here, on a Tuesday night. There's lots of parking within walking distance; about the blocks for $6.

The line up was out the door and around into the alley but it was only a ten or so minute wait to get it. Same for they line up for drinks, super long at first but they work through it pretty fast.

Inside the theater there's room for seating up top, about thirty rows and I could see the stage from every seat I sat in. The lower standing area has as bit of a bowl to it so it's easy to see the stage from anywhere. I would definitely see another band here, the venue was great and the staff is pretty good.

Seats were not comfortable. Rival Sons did an amazing job. Venue was quite nice. It was an experience

Really love the setup here, the gradual slope downward allows for good viewing from all areas of the floor.

Used to love it here but the last couple of times I've been, theres always WAY to many security people. Like, I understand why, but it almost at the point where its like theres one in the washroom with you. Still a great place for concerts though.

Nice concert venue for non arena shows- half standing room (front) - half seating (rear upper). Old movie theater conversion that works well. Acoustics are so so -Probably depends more on band equipment and setup. Only bad seats may be directly behind sound / lighting boards at front of seating dead centre.

Easy to navigate venue with smaller shows. You can get very close to the performer, and that's pretty sick.

An amazing venue for bands! Was first time there since going to the movies as a kid! Saw White Buffalo

I loved watching one of my favorite artists perform. However, the Garrick needs a reno. I sat in a seat that had a hole in it and the orange sand that was in the seat started to leak out on to my clothes. It was kind of embarrassing having to walk from my chair to the washroom like that.:/

Never went there for music, but remember going there to see actual movies on the big screen, in the late 90's early 2000's.
